This was my first palette from Chantecaille and i have to say that it is amazing. The other 2 MUAers have done a fantastic job descriving them so i won't go into the details. Would repurchase if it was available.

This is a gorgeous coral lipstick. I hesitantly bought this last year when it launched but I have to admit it is well worth the splurge of $41 Cdn (Before taxes). As others have mentioned this is a beautiful coral colour that looks amazing with the 'Coral Reef Palette' and the 'Shark Paletee'. It brightens up my face instantly and makes me look fresh and alive. It's such a fun colour yet totally appropriate for anywhere including the office. The texture of Lip Chics are amazing and are by far THE best in the market. I have already used up my first and now have ordered my second tube since these have become part of the permanent line. YAY! I was SUPER excited when I got the news about it's permanency. Thanks Chantecaille! Will purchase always.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Mom and Baby Balm

I had bought this inititally for my baby. I tried it on his face and hands because they were super dry and red due to his constant drooling because of teething. I put it on at night for a few days but found it lacking in moisture. My poor baby was still dry (not as dry as before but still dry and flaky, then i used Vaseline and in one night my baby's skin returned to normal). That being said, I no longer use this for my baby but i do use it on myself - hands mostly. I will admit i love the texture of this balm and the fact that it has no smell. I also love the fact that its full of goodness and no preservatives. The consistency is less thicker than what I would imagine a 'balm' to be but i like that because there is no warming up needed before application. It doesn't feel greasy at all and sinks into my skin right away. The packaging is a screw top aluminum tin which looks so classy and luxurious. I wouldn't repurchase beacuse it is not moisturizing enough.

I'm not in love with this product. I don't seem to be in love with any of the LP products except for the Refining Toner and the Microdermabrasion. This product does nothing for my skin. I had used it religiously once a week, and after months and months of use, still nothing. I loathed the smell of this product too but then again, I never liked the smell of LP products either. I find them nauseating. Anyway, i hardly reach for this anymore beacuse its just a useless product for me. Money wasted :(

This concentrate is fantastic. I had initially thought it did nothing for me and on some days the smell of this product can be overwhelming to me, but that being said, as I continued using it (and now i'm finished with the whole bottle) I've noticed that my skin is significantly IMMEDIATELY even toned, bright, luminous and glowing. NO other product has had this effect on my skin. I really did not want to love this product because its so super pricy but I can only wear this on my face with my HG Clarins sunscreen and i see immediate results, and i can actually go out without wearing any tinted moisturizer/foundation. This is definitely a miracle worker! I will definitely repurchase this. EDIT: I hate to bring this down to 2 lippies but i was inititally correct - This does NOTHING for my skin. I thought it was this that gave me that luminosity and even toned skin, but i was wrong. On days when my skin is not perfect to begin with, this does absolutely NOTHING! Total waste of moeny. Not repurchasing.

Lip Treatments -Sephora - Color reveal lip balm in Unique pink

I really dislike products like these that supposedly will adapt to your lip colour. I tried the Dior one and hated it and if i had known this was the same concept, I would have never purchased it. That being said, when I did buy it mistakenly, I gave it a fair shot and it was disappointing. I hated the smell, the taste (smell and taste like plastic - similar to L'Oreal Lip Balms - yuk!!!) and to top it off, this changed to a HOT NEON PINK on my lips. Not flattering at all. For reference: I'm NC20 in MAC, Asian with neutral undertones. Exchanged it for the Fresh Sugar ones and its thousand times better! I'll never stray from the Fresh Sugar ones. They are awesome but ridiculously pricy.

In addition to the usual Lipsmackers (original ones) tinted lip balms (Strawberry) this is the only other drugstore lip balm that I prefer except that this is clear. I've so many others and none of them kept my fancy. I like the sleek cylindrical tube and the minty cool sensation. I don't mind applying often (though I don't need it because it lasts a while on me) because I love that wet, glossy, balmy, and minty feel. It came in a pack of 4 with different flavours, and its super cheap from Walmart. I like them all. Definite repurchase.

Lips -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Lip Balm

I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed these. They are the most wonderful tinted lip balms. They feel so moisturizing and a delight to apply. Goes on smoothly and evenly, and it doesn't have any taste or smell (which is great!). I have this in Pink Raspberry and love the colour. Its a nice deep pinky-red which looks great with minimal makeup. I pair this usually with just mascara, eyeliner, and nice pink/nude/rose blush. Looks lovely! I have to go back and purchase more. I hope BB didn't discontinue these.

Lipstick -Cle de Peau - Extra Silky Lipstick

I have this in #109 and as others have said its the BEST rosy pink shade ever!!! For reference, I'm NC15-20, asian with neutral undertones as I can pull off both warm and cool colors. Whenever I wear this my face is brightened and I just look more radiant and glowy. It looks awesome with purple/pink e/s and Chantecaille's Joy blush as its a nice cool/neutral pink. I've received plenty of compliments with this look. Its natural yet stunning. The texture of this lipstick is like butter...pure butter. Its extremely soft and silky (as name mentions). Feels awesome on the lips. I love everything about it and I will definitely repurchase these forever. CdP please do NOT discontinue these and this colour!!! Btw it sells for $65 Cdn, so yeah super pricey.

Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Lip Color - Pink Mauve 49

I was looking for a lip colour for the fall i.e. a nice rich, dark plummy/red/brown lipstick, and i thought Blue Raspberry Creamy lipstick would be it, but that just fell flat on me. It did not brigten up my look. The very nice SA then recommended Pink Mauve #49 and wham! that instant brigtening of the face! I really love this colour. I especially love the fact that I don't have to wear any lipgloss on top to alter the colour in order to make it work for me. Most dark lipsticks don't work on me on its own and I need to apply a lipgloss on top to enhance the colour, but not this. Its perfect! It lasts a long time and it feels very comfortable on my lips. Very creamy application/texture too. I tend to wear it with purple e/s or even Bobbi Brown's Cement e/s, with a nice plummy blush like the Bobbi Brown's limited edition Pink Truffle Lip & Cheek. I am loving this look for the fall.

I totally agree with bethd44. Looks best (on me) with a clean, undone, natural, and low maintenance face i.e. just black eye liner, mascara, rose/nude blush (sometimes I skip this too), and this lipstick. I was hesitant to purchase this but i'm glad I did. Takes getting used to but its one of my favourties.

I liked the texture of this lip balm and the hint of colour it provided, however all the colours in this line turned out sheer on me except for the Caring Coral one (upon numerous applications) and the Berry one. The product itself overall was a nice concept but I could not stand the taste of this product. It was plastic-y and nauseating. For this reason alone I tossed it out. Waste of money. No repurchase.

Lips -Yves Saint Laurent - Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm

Can i just say OMG!!! Why haven't I tried these earlier? I don't know but i've always been uninterested in YSL, until now. These lipsticks are wonderful. Its truly a HG of all the lipsticks out there even superior to my beloved Chanel Rouge Coco and Rouge Coco Shine. I love the fact that its the perfect texture with the perfect tint of colour and its buildable if you want more colour. Not to mention its very balmy and smooth on application. The smell is also very nice (typical YSL smell of mangoes, not offensive at all), and I do not taste anything which is great. Also, i've noticed that it stains my lips when it wears off. I have #10 which is a very nice warm coral orange colour. I wear this with a natural eye and coral/orange/nude blush and it looks great. Very fresh and youthful. I'm so getting more in different colours. I don't know what I'll do with the other zillions of lipsticks I already own - probably gift them away because I love these so much. Oh btw the packaging is to die for too! YSL please please please do NOT discontinue these ever. These are $38 Cdn (before taxes). If I could i would give it 20 lippies.

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm in Pink Punch

Oh this was a gross lip balm. I had Pink Punch and the colour was awful on me as it was a gawdy pink sort of colour on my lips. Not to mention the taste was horrific - like plastic or maybe burnt plastic GROSS!!! And it dried out my lips big time. Its probably recycled by now.
