Tried this treatment off a recommendation from a friend, overall it has noticeably strengthened my flaky nails. However, after getting a third of the way through the bottle the rim is now covered in flaky dry polish which has fallen back in and makes it difficult to apply without ending up with a lumpy looking finish. Contrary to other reviews I don't think it's possible to wear this on its own, although the colour is a natural looking pink the finish is a strange grainy looking matte which does not make my nails look healthy at all. With regular applications over a period of time I have also now noticed the product is gradually staining my nails yellow. Overall although the polish does work as a nail strengthener the "side effects" outweigh this and I will not be repurchasing.

Cleansers -Clarins - Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed for Normal or Combination Skin

I purchased this facial wash towards the end of last summer as i was looking for something to freshen my face in the mornings. To begin with the wash worked well using it with warm water my face felt very clean if a little tight which was easily corrected with moisturiser. However, as the weather turned colder I found I was getting dry patches flare up across my cheeks almost immediately after rinsing. Now I have stopped using it my skin has gone back to normal. When the weather improves towards the summer I may give this product another try but I would definitely not recommend this to anyone with combination skin to use during the winter.

Polishes -Essie - Chinchilly

After testing nearly every neutral shade on the Essie stand in Boots I eventually went for Chinchilly and am very happy with the decision. Outside of the fluorescent lighting in the store the colour was much greyer than I originally thought. Natural lighting brings out a slight lavender undertone which adds another element to the shade whist still remaining unobtrusive enough to suit any occasion. The polish includes the usual extra wide brush which I love but others can find more difficult to use especially on narrower nails. I found that 2 - 3 coats were needed for a real opaque coverage and with base and top coats the polish lasted for a good 4 days with minimal tip wear.
