Makeup Brushes -Urban Decay - Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush
Chall6464 5/8/2013 10:57:00 PM
I was just going to return this brush because I wasn't able to make it work with my dry skin until I discovered that I could pat/stipple with it. The brush hairs are really soft but also dense enough to give an airbrushed look even with just stippling. I have dry patches all over and it makes the foundation look so smooth even without primer - crazy. The only downside is that it takes forever to dry (2 days) after washing so it might be a little damp the next day you use it. 5 lippies from a dry skin user!

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Boudoir Eyes
Chall6464 5/7/2013 10:18:00 PM
Love this palette and would recommend with some caveats: some of the colors are sheer (fuzzy handcuffs, satin sheets and b'day suit all look about the same on me unless I really pack it on), the black shade is gorgeous but def not for daytime (FYI fair girls - it is blendable but still a straight up black), some shades are a little powdery. I did the looks included on the card that comes w/ the palette and they all looked really pretty. It's a great neutral palette that's not UD Naked and w/ tons of shimmer. Really good for those days you want to look toned down but still pretty.

Polishes -OPI - You're Such A Budapest
Chall6464 5/7/2013 9:44:00 PM
I love this! Such a unique color that I haven't found any dupes for - awesome periwinkle with a slight shimmer (if you look close or pay attention while painting but once dried it's hardly noticeable). I wondered if I could get away wearing my other lavender polishes and felt like I was probably buying this for no reason but no! It is unlike any other purple or blue color I own. Looks great on many skin tones. I would definitely recommend. ***** Update: 7 days later and only 2 minor chips. Amazing! It lasted so long it's actually growing out on my nail.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Taupe
Chall6464 5/4/2013 6:47:00 AM
I like to use taupe on my bottom lash line and Rimmel's nude eyeliner on my waterline together for daytime looks. On hot days + wearing for several hours, I get taupe smudges beneath my eye but not panda-eyes bad. These eyeliners are very creamy and glide on the skin well. I would recommend and buy again.

Treatments -E.L.F. - Zit Zapper
Chall6464 4/30/2013 3:30:00 AM
This stuff is awesome! I applied it to a huge cystic acne pimple I had that popped on its own and to a smaller whitehead. It reduced the size of the popped one in a few hours and got rid of the whitehead over night. It contains 1% salicylic acid so it stings when you first put it on. I apply it with the roller pointed vertically down to get the product out - it's a small roller that can be a little intermittent when it's held horizontally. Totally recommend this! 5 lippies!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Mooncake
Chall6464 4/30/2013 12:02:00 AM
I was interested in trying a paint pot and am a total shimmer fan. Mooncake is so shimmery and glittery, such a gorgeous color. The website calls it warm beige. On my NW15/NC15 pale skin, it looks champagne almost-pink but at the cosmetics counter it came across more golden. I was disappointed in the application - some skipping and uneven patches on my lids; however, it swatches fine on my hand. I'll chalk that up to not using an eye primer. There is glitter fallout underneath the eye soon after applying. Guess what this shade reminds me of?! UD's Midnight Cowboy!! I swatched some possible dupes on my hand and added a pic to show how similar this shade is to Midnight Cowboy (which I love btw) + some other colors. After washing my swatched hand with soap and water, Mooncake and Barely Branded were the only shades that were waterproof and required eye makeup remover. Mooncake is peachier than Midnight Cowboy with very little opacity. It's like a faint peachy shade with glitter. I'm debating whether to return this or not. My heart says no but my head says yes.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint
Chall6464 4/27/2013 10:54:00 PM
This color is so pretty on the nails and resists chipping. The only problem I had was staining while trying to remove it. My cuticles and skin around the nails were stained and I couldn't get it off even with pure acetone! I'd rather take off glitter nails than this stuff! Otherwise, I would wear this color more often.

Brows -Maybelline - Define-A-Brow
Chall6464 4/14/2013 4:49:00 PM
I have light brown eyebrow hair and bought the dark blonde shade (I was using MAC omega to occasionally fill in before). If I had gone darker (there is a light brown shade), I think it would have been too dark for my eyebrows. The formula is just waxy enough to keep hairs down and blends in well with the rest of my eyebrow. I never thought eyebrow makeup made a difference until I used this. The only negative is that I have to twist it up once or sometimes twice when applying it which uses up the product faster. I would recommend if you want a little bit of wax and color.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Glinda Palette
Chall6464 4/11/2013 6:23:00 PM
I wasn't interested in this when it came out or when I saw the swatches online but changed my mind after seeing it in person. The iridescent shift colors are so gorgeous and I love the purple and gray color. I also wanted a deep purple eyeliner like Rockstar. The eyeliner isn't as purple as I would like - it looks like a soft black. The lip pencil looks great - reminds me of lip junkie in Naked. I would definitely recommend this palette over the Theodora palette for pale people w/ cool tone skin.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
Chall6464 4/11/2013 6:16:00 PM
Love it! Used to use NW20/NC15, bought Colorstay normal/dry in Ivory and it's a perfect match (fair w/ cool tones)!! I have already moved my Mac foundation out of my makeup bag for the Colorstay. It set pretty quick, didn't even need to powder. I have very dry skin and tested this w/o moisturizer and primer...my dry patches are visible up close but I'm impressed they weren't super emphasized like w/ the other foundations I have used. If you have very dry skin like me, it won't take away the need to exfoliate/moisturize/prime but it will help. 5 lippies!

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Strawberry Sorbet
Chall6464 4/7/2013 5:16:00 PM
Agree with another reviewer below that this feels waxy and like the product never really sinks in to moisturize. I didn't have the same problem with the summer fruit flavor so note sure if it's this strawberry flavor or just this particular one I got. Aquaphor and my Babylips work so much better than these guys.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush - Orchid Hush
Chall6464 4/4/2013 9:06:00 PM
Really pretty and unique light purple blush. I apply with my fingers because it takes a little more than stippling brush to get it to show up on my cheek. No need to worry about going overboard because it's sheer/buildable. Love it!

Awesome palette. ++ :matte shades, creamy smooth formula, all wearable shades, day and evening looks, easy to blend, more useful than Naked palettes. - - : some fallout.

Treatments -Joico - k-pak deep penetrating reconstructor
Chall6464 3/20/2013 4:01:00 PM
My dry overhilighted hair feels so soft and moisturized after using this! I used to use the Schwarzkopf repair rescue which was nice but nowhere near as good as the Joico product. I would definitely repurchase.

Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed Tarte Blush
Chall6464 3/17/2013 4:18:00 AM
I'm a pale NC15 and have to work hard to get this to show up! It comes across like a light brown but when I take it off with a remover towel, I can see the pink in it. I love nude pinks but this one doesn't do it for me. I'd rather go back to using my MAC Prism.
