Skincare - Body -Biotherm - Intensive Body Treatment with Apricot Oil

The SA talked me into trying this on since they didn't have what I wanted to try on(Bliss' Silky Milk). I was REALLY surprised. It takes a while to rub into your skin but it is SOOO worth the extra time. It has a nice light apricot smell. I make it a point to trying makeup/skincare for a whole day before I purchase something. After hours of walking, every time I touched my legs they were VERY soft. After eight hours I could still feel the effects. The oil has a lasting effect but just a little and very light. I may never buy another lotion again. The downsides are that the packaging is a squeeze bottle. They should make it so you can get every bit of product out as possible- since it's $24.00 for 8.3 fl. oz.

Lip Treatments -Laura Mercier - lip silk

When I recently got a makeover at the Laura Mercier counter one of the things that made me say "WOW" was the their version of lip gloss. The name lip gloss doesn't describe this product correctly though. It sinks into the lips leaving nothing behind but smooth supple lips. I was constantly looking for a product like this. Most other lip glosses are too slick to even add lipstick and if I didn't wear something as a base on my lips I ended up with cracked, flaky, sore lips. This solved my problem. Now first I put on my lip silk, and my lips look and feel wonderful.

Skincare - Face -Yon-Ka - Lotion- Normal to oily skin
Cely 6/3/2001 5:24:00 PM
This was billed as a lighweight moisturizer for oily skin types. It has a white cloudy color with a water texture and is packaged in a glass spray pump. The pump sprays out a gentle mist, which is quite refreshing. I was told by the sales rep where I purchased this product that it would keep my skin matte, warding off the oil slick I usually battle with on my T-zone combination skin. After three weeks It made no noticeable change on my skin. The only statement that did prove true was that I would love the smell. It has a wonderful spa like smell, sort of woodsy Aveda like, but not masculine, just very soothing. On a hot or stressful day this would be nice to spray on your face, but not for the price. If you think you would enjoy spending $27.00 on what is basically preety smelling water be my geust. Otherwise save your money for something that works.

Styling Products -Kiehls - Creme De La Creme Groom Repairateur With Silk
Cely 6/3/2001 5:00:00 PM
I have been using this product for several years. I absolutely can't live without it. This is a thick cream that comes in a plastic jar. The packaging allows you to use every bit of product. The scent is light and virtually nonexsistant as with most Kiehls products. If your hair is coarse, thick or damaged and in need of repair you should get a couple of samples of this. They also have another formula that isn't as heavy but it didn't do much for my hair type. Kiehl's has a great attitude about samples. I have walked away from their counter with a bag full, happily they never give me a snooty attitude. Because I am mixed with black and white my hair type is very thick and curly. I relax and highlight my hair yearly and without this product I look like an upright walking poodle- lots of dry poofy hair. Creme De La Creme leaves me with smooth defined curls and more manageable body. The only drawback is that for a hair care product it is steeply priced- 25.00 for 4 oz.
