If I only would have kept the receipt and packaging this baby would have went back. I am sensitive to smell and this has a 'flowery' smell to it. Not to mention it smears. clumps and I hate the brush. I hate how drugstore brands are starting to charge outrageous prices for mediocre products. I would never buy this nightmare again. I will stick with Cover Girl Lashblast Volume and Clinique High Impact.
Hair -Alberto Vo5 - Alberto V05 Conditioning Hairdressing

I literally think this is the only product that I have reviewed and given the answer no to repurchase and the one and only reason is that the scent of this is HORRENDOUS! Other than that it does leave hair moisturized and shiny not greasy if used sparingly. I only wish that VO5 would change the scent of this and then it would be spectacular.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Face Spray

First off I have to inform everyone that sephora and most cosmetic counters do no longer carry this wonderful hydrating aloe based refreshing spray. As always I fall in love with a product and they discontinue it. Luckily I bought three bottles the last time I was able to find it. It does hydrate especially great for us oily skinned breakout prone gals. If anyone knows where I can still find this please message me. But I was told it was discontinued. Other than that a wonderful luxury product.
Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter
Catlove 3/13/2011 11:16:00 AM
This shampoo cushiony lathers nicely and smells like coconut even though it is Almond and Shea butter. I love it I use it with the conditioner which I am in love with. Its cheap, it works wonderfully. Does what most shampoos do without drying out the scalp and hair too much. For $2.94 @ my local Wal Mart I am sold on this line of shampoo and condtioner.
Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter
Catlove 3/13/2011 11:11:00 AM
Where has this been all my dry hair life? My hair is dry brittle and just when I was at my wits end and was going to resort to trying an infomercial product called WEN. I bought this wonderful product professionals almond and shea butter conditioner. I do the same with this as they do with the WEN, I condtion everyday and just shampoo twice to three times per week. My hair is soft and healthy looking after I use this wonderfully smelling conditioner and have even gotten my husband to use it. He also has dry coarse hair. I would rank this conditioner up with most if not all of the salon products. A++++on this stuff. The packaging is okay but what can you expect for $2.94. It is whats inside that counts. Try some if you have dry coarse hair. It is said on the bottle to be equivalent to Aveda's Dry Remedy, which I have never tried but I am ecstatic about my new find and made it my HOLY GRAIL.
I am also quite surprised of the low rating this wonderful mascara has. This is the BEST I've tried in a LONG time. If you are patient and build the lashes first with primer careful to comb through each coating, you will reap the benefits of LONG generously thick almost fake looking lashes. I used to love CG superthick but XXL Intense blows CG out of the water. Try some!!
This cleanser is a refreshing gel type cleanser that totally cleans the skin of impurities, oils. It is not full of heavy fragrances and though it is a blue gel I do not mind because this cleanser is awesome!! I only wish that Marcelle would start selling it in the US. I have to get someone to send this to me. I would recommend this cleanser always to anyone who has oily skin that is also sensitive.
Lipstick -Cover Girl - Continuous Color - new formula
Catlove 6/23/2004 8:09:00 PM
I purchased cafe au lait because of some recs on another MU board. I put it on and I checked in natural light, it was frosty shimmery pink(not something I was looking for). The lipstick itself is shimmery beige taupe frost but once I put it on it turned this ugly shade of frosty peachy pink. I know there were some problems with their old formulation and I had thought they fixed it, seems that some of you love the new formulation but I just can't get it to work for me. Too bad because these lipsticks are cheap.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Combination Skin Moisture Oil Free
Catlove 4/20/2004 12:27:00 AM
No matter how many other moisturizers I buy I always end up coming back to this. First of all my skin is very acne prone with mild rosacea and prone to dermatitis but also very oily in the summer and somewhat dry in the winter. It may not sound possible but when I use this, my oil is significantly reduced and my skin is much more balanced. It is not an expensive product and I will continue to use this as long as it is being manufactured.
I have two attempts with this useless product. All because I have used some other PC products that were good and because the first time I tried with it they were supposed to have reformulated it. However the same thing happened, it dried up!! I didn't have it for 4 months and it was dried right up. It happened the first time and I emailed customer service and they had claimed I needed to replace the product, so I did(stupid me!!)and then I kept the lid tight, went to use it and it was dried up ONCE again!! I will never buy this product again. I might try beauticontrol lip apeel which is probably much better. Packaging sucks, product sucks and add shipping to the cost and its not chump change. Save your money.
I really like this cleanser, first of all I don't understand why this cleanser didn't get a higher rating. But I guess that goes to show you that sometimes you have to try a product to give it a fair review. Maybe those other reviewers had different skin needs. Anyhow the packaging is simple and it wouldn't travel well since its a pump. I took a point off for overall rating because of the scent of this(dish detergent). But it cleans off ALL makeup including eyemakeup and its soothing due to the high glycerin content. It didn't leave my combination acne prone skin dry at all. Definitely buy this again.
I bought these for my daughter. I haven't used them because I have a professional whitening tray made by my boss(dentist). As with all tooth bleaching products they can cause tooth sensitivity as the reviewer below mentioned. Shooting pains and all, very painful. The key is to use a sensitive toothpaste for two weeks before applications of any bleaching products. Then keep using the special toothpaste while you are in the process of whitening your teeth. Overall I think Crest whitestrips are great for those of us who can't afford a trip to the dentist. They are a bit pricey though.
Eye Makeup Remover -Paula's Choice - Gentle Touch Makeup Remover
Catlove 2/21/2004 4:11:00 PM
This is the perfect eye makeup remover for me. Its so soothing, suppose it is because of the high aloe gel content. If you love Lancome bifacil you will LOVE this more. It is non irritating, non greasy and removes makeup quickly even waterproof mascara. The packaging isn't anything fancy but I don't care about that. The only con is that it has to be ordered off the internet on her site. Definitely one of my HOLY GRAIL products.
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
Catlove 2/21/2004 4:04:00 PM
I keep hearing about how great Lancome bi facil is and I compared ingredients in the two and they are pretty similar. Except for the fact that they aren't in the same order. This takes off eyemakeup or any makeup quickly without rubbing. Its non irritating, fragrance free which I prefer(unlike Lancomes'). I think the child proof cap is because of a recent incident with a child drinking baby oil(suppose silicone is similar)and the baby suffocated. So I think its a smart choice for a child proof cap. This is a staple of mine.
Styling Products -TiGi - Bed Head Shine Junkie [DISCONTINUED]
Catlove 1/8/2004 9:29:00 PM
Just have to RAVE about the new packaging. I had wanted to try the original in a little round tin(a friend told me not to since it was so messy) but now they have shine junkie in a can, you squirt it out like whipped cream and its a lot less messy. It smells like citrus and the scent lingers, its velvety smooth creamy serum with shimmer in it, takes care of frizzies quite well. I paid $11.95 for 2 oz can. If I am not low on cash I'd definitely buy this again.
