Treatments (Eye) -Olay - Professional Pro-X Eye Restoration Complex

I have finally found an eye cream I would repurchase! I put it on morning and night. I have very sensitive eyes and this hasn't bothered them in the slightest, and I even put it on my brow bone and all around. I have noticed a difference in my fine lines. LOVE it. Edit: wanted to add a comment now that I've used it longer. Still loving it. Definite improvement to my eye area and when you get older you will know how significant it is for a cream alone to do this!
Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Intensive Nourishing Night Cream [DISCONTINUED]

This is the best night cream I have used. I wake up and my face looks renewed. Before using this my skin was looking really dull. Plus, no breakouts.
I bought this at Sephora as the MA said it was "red carpet" foundation. I do not like it at all. I find the coverage poor and it makes me look paler (didn't think that was possible!). Did nothing to reduce redness.
Eye Shadow -Cargo - Essential Eye Palette Cool/Neutral

This was a very good impulse purchase for me as well. Like a previous reviewer I have found it too much work to buy individual shadows and try to coordinate and yet other palettes I have bought don't seem to work as well. I have quite a few individual shadows that I don't reach for as much. This is a no brainer and saves me time. I wear it daily and it works for my blue eyes.
My favourite blush.
My HG Mascara and this is coming from someone who has tried not wearing mascara for years because I hate applying it and seeing little results. This is the first one that has worked wonders for my skimpy lashes. Love it. Plus, it does not clump, and does not flake or smear.
Love this color and texture. I have blue eyes and I wear the Paula Dorf tribal to really make my eyes Pop but I have to be careful not to wear it when my eyes are red from being tired or allergies. This color made my blue stand out without the red. I would definitely buy it again. Like some others said, it defines the crease or corner naturally without looking made up.
I don't get the bad reviews. I love this product. I find I need to reduce shine and have to apply a powder after my sunscreen. This reduces the shine and also reduces redness. The best part is I find I don't have to reapply on my T-zone like I do with all others, including MAC blot.
Eyeliner -Lise Watier - Kajal Crayon - Bleu Indigo

I was advised to wear this in my inner lower rim to make the whites brighter. It works! My only complaint is that it does start to run, but so does any liner I've ever applied to my inner rims. I get compliments when I wear this about how blue my eyes look. I usually wear this with a bronzy/brown liner outside the rims. Edit: I find that I can't get past the smudgy aspect.
Highlighters -Clinique - Fresh Bloom Allover Colour all shades

I bought this in Posy. I am very fair - NW15-20 in MAC. This is my favorite blush. I wear it every day - apply mostly on the apples, but then along the cheek bones, bridge of nose and chin, even some under my brows. I find it gives me a nice glow. I am over 40 and appreciate the subtle shimmer.
This moisturizer was recommended for my daughters when they suffered from dry skin as babies. I still use it on them but it is also my nighttime facial moisturizer (I use it with tazorac (retinoid)). It sinks in really well for me and combats the redness and dryness that the tazorac can cause. Plus, it never breaks me out. I also use it under my eyes - doesn't make them puffy. Very moisturizing.
Styling Products -Pantene - Texturize- Ultimate texture hairspray
CatieG 3/21/2007 4:39:00 PM
I have layered mid-length hair that is quite coarse and heavy, but this hairspray really did help texturize and keep my hair in place. I really like it and will purchase it again. Edit: I have to lower my previous rating. I still use this spray if I am going to wash my hair the next day, otherwise it flakes. I have found L'oreal final net to be superior.
Concealers -Chanel - ESTOMPE DE CHANEL CORRECTIVE CONCEALER
CatieG 9/26/2006 1:45:00 PM
I bought this concealer along with the Pro Lumiere foundation and I love both. It is expensive but I find it works so much better at brightening my under eye area and concealing dark circles than any other concealer I have tried - and I've tried a lot. Maybe it's just a better color match for me - I have number 10. Doesn't sink into lines either - big plus.Edit: I don't use this as much anymore. Not sure why, but think it's because it didn't lighten circles as mujch as I thought.
Foundations -Chanel - Pro Lumiere Professional Finish Make-Up ] [DISCONTINUED]

I cannot rave enough about this foundation. I am a stay at home Mom so have worn drug store products for the last 6 years but decided to splurge on this after a makeover. I love it. My husband commented that my skin looked great. No breakouts. Worth every penny.
I had a makeover by a Chanel makeup artist and bought these shadows as a result. They bring out my blue eyes and are very soft and forgiving - you notice the eyes not the shadow. My new HG. They also taught me to line my upper inner rim with their marine pencil and the effect is to give me a wonderful lash line.
