Acne prone, Oily combination skin, with some scarring. I gave this a shot after seeing how different it made this lady's face look at a mac counter while she was having a makeover. It covers all my pores, takes away the grease on my nose, and covers my redness, broken caps and some of my scarring from my acne days. it does oxidises a litttle after a couple hours but that is normal with my skin and most foundations. a touch up mid day with this again or mac blot powder does the job. A cheap and great foundation.

This is only for DRY skin. Major shine, and chnage in my foundation color due to oiliness. protection wise is great, only if you dont' sweat it off, it doesn't seem like it would adhere for long. texture is a milky lotion, that doesn't dry off completely, semi matte finish. white cast is minimal as i am paper white. after 2 hours or so my face is a greased pan. i used my tleclerc powder to touch upand my powder turned orangy. 3 points for protection, but not 5. Try it if you have dry skin and live in dry climate, you will like it better than i. ( Normal/Oily sensitive acne prone, PPP)

Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation

First off, i have acne prone, oily buty dehydrated skin and easily clogged. To me this was a much higher priced covergirl advanced radiance compact or aquasmooth. The texture is similar, finish is similar, all but the price and packaging. This would be better for dry skin types as i found parts of my make up sliding off my face at the end of the day, and it may have aggravated a few acne spots. i will not buy this again even if i had dry skin though, because CG advanced radiance is $9849849 cheaper, and almost identical.
Powder -Prescriptives - AnyWear Multi-finish compact foundation

I would buy this over and over again. i'm ACNE PRONE, CLOG PRONE, OILY BUT DEHYDRATED SENSITIVE SKIN TYPE. I have tried LM, BB, SHISEIDO,SHU,TLECLERC,LA MER,CHANTECAILLE,CHANEL,DIOR,YSL, and what nots, but this wins hands down. covers, protects with spf, goes on a clean matte with a natural finish, not flat. I use a large brush to dust it after application for a soft focused natural finish color selection is excellent, no break outs, nor clogs. EXCELLENT product. packaging is simple, no fuss. i declare this my HG foundation. UPDATE: STILL A WINNER, everyone must try this!

Firstly, this is my second my face product. My first is Blot pressed and i like it very much. I have Normal skin sometimes oily, and i purchased this in light. It was a good match for my NC15 skin which the usual NC15 is too dark some times. It looked nice when the SA put it on me, thus i decided to buy it. It was sheer, but had slight cover, and the finish is neither satin nor matte. When i wore it the next day, It looked just as nice, however i noticed the wearability did not last long at all. Within 2 hours, my face looked like an oil slick. Touching up was slightly cakey. Compared to Blot, this to me is inferior. I would stick with Blot powder. This may be better for dry or very dry skin types. And definitely not for humidity. EDIT: does not control oil, and clogged my pores after further use.
i am not sure if its taking too long or doesn't work. i've been using this for almost 3 months and i dont feel any different except that my face smells when i put it on. also there is a little stinging but i usually get this with any vit c product. I have been using niks vitamin c serum before this which i liked and the new paula's choice antioxidant serum which smoothens my face, and i'm considering repurchasing either. not too sure if i would pay for this again
I would need to update this again as i've only been using it for one day. i bought this this afternoon and i'm glad to say its a good colour match as opposed to my previous holy grails: shiseido and shu uemura. The texture is smooth and fine, and thinner as compared to the two mentioned, however the coverage is good!!, the SA applied it wet on me for maximum coverage and it is really good and non cakey. the finish is matte and polished as well. She said to use it dry for a more natural finish. will update again. this may just be my new HG. It does feel lighter on the skin as opposed to shu and shiseido which i also had trouble matching my skin perfectly. UPDATE: reduced to 4 stars, prescriptives anywear foundation is THE one to beat.
Treatments (Eye) -Clarins - Extra-Firming Eye Contour Cream

I'm developing lines around my eyes and used this for the past 5 weeks, it is moisture replenishing, and the lines are certainly less deep. my eyes look more refreshed, and i use this day and night.
I have oily combination skin and this breaks me out. it feels like its suffocating my pores when on and i broke out 4 days later after wearing this. the coverage is medium-full and feels like silk on skin, but the silicone content drove my skin crazy. a much better foundation would be revlon colourstay natural, it has a similar finish wihtout the crazy silicones and does not clog or break me out. this is going into the bin.
My fave. This is light airy foam that goes on smooth on skin and very very light, it does control some oil, and makes foundation go on better, brightens skin a little and minimises imperfections. with UV protection. A good buy.
Primer/ Corrector -Kanebo - Revue still keep fix base UV
Cartoonfish 12/14/2005 11:29:00 PM
This base is not too bad, but it cannot be used with other foundations, so far except for revue pact and shiseido powdery. The base goes on smooth, and makes skin feel soft to touch. It does control some oil, but my face seemed to become oilier when i go in airconditioned places. Since i did not like the revue pact, i tried it with my other foundations as well, and they "rubbed" off and has flakes or balled up. For the price though, this is not very good. My favourite Base is shu uemura's uv underbase.
Powder -Kanebo - Revue Still Keep Pact Powder Foundation
Cartoonfish 12/14/2005 11:15:00 PM
I purchased this in a set along with the base fix and a free eyeshadow which i gave to my niece. The foundation casing was very nice and sleek, however, the quality was OK. First of all, It goes on very smooth and very fine, has a very natural finish. Coverage is sheer but u can add more to medium. it does not cover mild scars though it will even out skin tone. Oil control was pitiful, as i had to blot by lunchtime, and the part on my nose had faded and streaked. My colleague also commented that it looked quite thick under sunlight. There was a little oxidation, it turned abit orangy and a little darker by mid day.Touch up was not flawless, due to the oxidation color. I tried it With and without the still keep fix base uv, both ways were the same. Overall, i don't think this is worth the price. aside from the smoothness, its just OK. I much prefer Shu uemura's velvet perfect which is about the same price.
Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Oil-Free Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]
Cartoonfish 12/13/2005 8:59:00 PM
This is my favourite foundation now, i bought this when i dropped my shu uemura one and it shattered. I have combi skin, living in hot n humid weather and airconditioning. This cream to powder compact is oil free has spf15, and It is non drying nor Oily. It covers well, and lasts the entire day without touch ups. You can set loose powder if you want an even longer wearability. I have some acne scars andslight dark circles, this covers everything well. no base is needed for this, apply after your moisturiser is absorbed well. i love this and have repurchased a 2nd compact. though i use it up fast ,1 lasts me about 2-3 months, which is very worth it. An excellent Buy. However if you prefer a powder or 2-way compact i highly reccomend shu uemura velvet perfect.
Liquid -Chanel - Double Perfection Fluide [DISCONTINUED]
Cartoonfish 9/26/2005 1:58:00 AM
This is the best chanel foundation for those who live in humid climates, it has lasting wear ( touch ups still needed but not as frequent as other chanel fdtns) provides sheer to medium coverage, best suited for combo or oily skin types with not much to cover. if u need more coverage try revlon colorstay.
