The SONIA KASHUK hair brush from TARGET is DEAD RINGER FOR THE MASON PEARSON. I have owned the Mason Pearson Pocket hair brush for 10 years. I wanted the bigger size, but couldn't see spending that outrageous amount of money, so I decided to try the Sonia Kashuk brush. The Sonia Kashuk hair brush is just about identical in every way. In fact, I like the Sonia Kashuk hair brush better because the handle fits my hand much better than the Mason Pearson. In my opinion, in terms of quality and the way it makes my hair smooth and shiny, the Sonia Kashuk hair brush is a dead ringer for the Mason Pearson and so much cheaper. Buy the Sonia Kashuk version and save your hard earned money gals! ***(By the way, the rubber/oil smell goes away rather quickly and BOTH the Mason Pearson and the Sonia K. brush smell that way when they are new.)

Trouble is a fall/winter scent for me....Conjuring distant fires on a snowy evening with a sky full of stars. The packaging is really fabulous too. (Green eyed snake wrapped around a deep-red, footed bottle). I get lots of compliments on this one.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Bourbon French Parfums VOODOO LOVE

Voodoo Love...One of my all time favorites. I bought this 10 years ago on my first trip to the French Quarter in New Orleans. It really brings to life the dark, mysterious vibe of decadence and decay that The city is famous for. As for leaving 1 lippie off, I wish the packaging was better. Love the name, the scent (which lasts forever) and the intriquing history behind it. It was (supposedly) developed by Marie Laveau the famous Voodoo queen back in the 1840's for high-society women that needed to spice up their love life. Queen Marie used to do the ladies hair at their homes and sold her "Love potion" as a side line, (among other things of course....)

This is my HG! A true, fine incense fragrance. I must admit, I'm not crazy about the initial spritz, but after about 2 minutes, it's pure heaven. I love the 1930's Deco, art-house style packaging. I first saw it in a magazine and my curiosity was piqued because of it. It meets all my criteria: Cool bottle; fantastic scent; funky name; limited industry buzz. What more could a girl want?
