Great mask (unlike any mask I've ever tried!) Other masks are simply too thin to draw out impurities or over-exaggerate about its benefits - not Aztec Secret! I've been using it about 3 times a week for the past 3 weeks now with much improvement in my scarring (I'm a skin picker) and hormonal acne, as well as a small reduction in blackheads. My skin isn't sensitive so I mix 1 tablespoon of the Aztec powder with about a shot glass of Braggs ACV. I find i get the best consistency if I only add ACV to the powder once (even though the jar of Aztec Secret says you can add a little more powder or liquid to get the right consistency) because it only becomes foamy the first time. If you try to add more liquid after you have mixed the mask, the liquid doesnt absorb and if you try to add more powder, its too clumpy. *Having a foamy consistency also makes your utensils easier to clean!* I layer it on thick AVOIDING THE NECK (literally made my skin feel like leather in Death Valley), hide my green swamp creature face, then just run warm water over my face in the shower for a few minutes before I start to gently rub off the mask. Your face will most likely be red afterwords, but should subside in about 30-40 minutes. I like to use CeraVe PM Moisturizer following.
Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

This moisturizer is great for nighttime use because *IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS* - really repairs dry skin, restores skin barrier (my face feels hydrated and smooth before AND after my morning cleanse!) and doesnt clog pores. Other reasons I like CeraVe moisturizing lotion PM is that it doesnt leave your face sopping with grease (other night creams are like chastity belts for your face! yuck!), sinks in to your face quickly and not your pillow, packaged with a PUMP (thank lordy baby jesus hallelujah), and is cheaper tenfold than other night creams! My only cons are that I prefer natural ingredients and like to use oils (think jojoba and rose hip) instead of chemicals, but this moisturizer is okay by my book because it does what it says and leaves my skin....,well.... moisturized!
I am literally BLOWN AWAY by this perfume. Years ago I had an orange-scented shampoo, conditioner, and body wash set from Hermes and decided to revisit the delightful scent by purchasing Eau des Merveilles Elixir. It is a warm, comforting, sexy, yet tasteful scent, reminiscent of curling up in a freshly laundered warm blanket with your attractive significant other. Truly a wonderful perfume. Only con is that the bottle is very strange - rather than a flat bottom, it is like the tip of an obtuse triangle - so it lays flat on either the right or left side. I am cautious every time I set it down. Best part is, it stays ALL DAY LONG. I have never in my life said this for any perfume (Lolita Lempicka perfumes have the longest lasting power that I know of, but not all day). I can put it on in the morning and when I'm showering in the evening after a long day, I can still smell the last of the lingering scent. Worth every. single. penny.
Found this product after my Japanese friend suggested it to me and have been using it for about 6 months - and LOVING it! I use it as my only morning cleanser and at night. An absolute must for removing my makeup and my secret weapon for nights when I need to take off makeup and cleanse quickly without having to put in much effort. PROS -removes anything (makeup, antibiotic creams, drying spot treatments etc) -balances skin like none other! -controls oil throughout the day -lasts for about 3 months so price is totally justified -gentle on my uber sensitive skin (For example, my skin is so sensitive that I get hives from scented laundry detergent) CONS -I need to use a deeper-clean cleanser after the cleansing oil because my oily, acne-prone skin needs it to keep acne at bay. This is not a one-step cleanser for me -this is the only version of Shu Uemura's cleansing oil that I can use - the others totally broke me out! -can't use in the shower because you must apply it when face is dry
Wonderful product! I use this every night after cleansing - just 3 drops - and i wake up with balanced, glowing skin. PROS -moisturizing in a balancing way (not too heavy, not too light) -prevents and heals acne -doesn't increase appearance of pore size like some heavier oils -makes skin glow from within in a non-shiny way -great at healing scabs caused by picking at pimples -smells amazingly relaxing and makes you feel pampered CONS -expensive for such little product (but worth it if you care about your skin!) -the bottle isn't the best; sometimes the oil comes out too fast/gets wasted on the edges of the opening. I would prefer it came in a glass dropper bottle
