I used this twice, and broke out badly both times. Was shiny and oily within minutes of applying...grateful that I only had samples of this. Would definitely not purchase again, or recommend to anyone with oily skin or prone to breakouts.

Powder -Aromaleigh - Voile [DISCONTINUED]

I used the previous Pure Powder formula for only about 2 months before the new formulas came out. I like the Voile, but not as much as the previous PP formula. My skin cleared immediately after starting to use the "old" PP, but has not been as clear since the change to voile. No other changes to skin care, etc. I did use the Glissade formula twice when the new products came out, and it was aweful (will include it here for comparison), made my face an oil slick and broke me out...never again, so that is probably responsibile for why my skin hasn't been as clear since the new formulas came out. Overall, Voile is an OK choice for very oily skin, comes in many shades so matching skin tone is pretty easy. I'd repurchase the Voile but my advice to anyone with oily or acne prone skin...stay away from the Glissade. If you're sensitive to mica in powder foundations, then the new Voile formula won't be for you either.

Lip Gloss -Aromaleigh - Aromaleigh Pure Shine Lip Gloss [DISCONTINUED]

I have this in Bedevil. I've tried so hard to like the product, but just can't. The color is ok, although isn't great on me (PPP/LLL) and is not what I expected after the description on the AL forum and how it looks in the tube. I expected more berry...almost a mauve on me, something I would never buy. I dislike the greasy consistency, and overwhelming smell. It also bleeds and feathers more than any lip product I've ever used. I'm giving it 1 lippie for color...it's pretty but not great for me, and not what I expected. I also dislike the packaging...it's a large tube, but cheap plastic, with a somputer printed type label...tacky. I would definitely not purchase again.

Eyeliner -Sephora - Crayon-Pencil
rated 2 of 5

I have these eye crayons in 2 colors, 506, a pretty greyish pink, and 506, a light blue. I like the colors and easy to use size for lining...the chubby pencil is much easier for me to control. It doesn't work well as a shadow, color goes on unevenly, and smears. I do need a sealer for my eyeliner, but with oily lids that's true for any brand so not a negative. This does crease badly when worn as a shadow though. Unfortunately, these crayons are so soft, that the tip flattens with little pressure, and just rubs away when I try to sharpen it. I'm in San Diego, and ike many people here don't have A/C but I don' think they should be unusable even when stored under fairly normal conditions (in vanity drawer, not exposed to extreme heat or humidity) even without A/C. (it's not that warm in the house!) I like the color, and hate to throw them out, so will store in the refrigerator until it cools off a bit. I will not buy again.
