This is sort of a darker version of the new Grape Set Match polish. It's a purple with pink and blue micro shimmer. However, it has BLUE undertones, where as GSM has Pink. This polish is deffinately a purple although flashes blue occasionally. Mine was quite thin, and very sheer in one coat but was completely opaque in two. Unfortunately my bottle doesn't have the Pro-Wide Brush but oh well :(

this is a great product! A beautiful sky-blue with micro-glitter shimmer! It's sooooo pretty. Application was great for me, no streakiness or bald spots and was pretty opaque with one thick coat, but did two for good measure. Not too thick, not too thin

ALL NEON'S DRY MATTE - if they aren't they aren't a neon. I don't understand why this bothers people - you should ALWAYS be wearing a top-coat anyway which makes TBT SUPER glossy and a lovely turquoise colour with a bit of shimmer. Application took 3 coats for me - bang on average. Great product

This is an emraldy green with tons of sparkle. It's very christmasy I think - great for the holiday season. Application was smooth, but it needed atleast 3 coats to reach opacity. If you're into your dark greens you'll love this one, however it's not really my thing so I wouldn't re-purchase

This is a SHEER polish with GOLD micro-glitter which is a bit decieving in photos and looks more silver. Anywho it's pretty useless for making it opaque, but I think it is MEANT to be l;ayered with - and i LOVE my layering polishes.

Polishes -Orly - Rose-Colored Glasses

Don't buy this is if you are loooking for a nice pale pink creme, it is a SHEER jelly made for French Manicures - attempting opaquenees is a waste of time and polish. This colour is amazing, it's a very natural tone and works well by itself to create a subtle polished look or with a french manicure. If you're loooking for your holy grain French base - you've found it! & The best this is, it is NOT streaky, not even a little bit, not even in one coat - PURE AMAZING-NESS It will also last you a long time as you don't need much AND it has ORLY's fairly large 18mL bottle (in comparison to other brands)

Polishes -Orly - Love Each Other

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT buy this product if you are looking for an opaque opalesque shade. IT IS NOT OPAQUE. and it isn't meant to be. It pains me when people complain about sheer polishes when the POINT is that they are supposed to be sheer ANYWAY THIS IS PERFECT for layering, as many have already stated, it works GREAT over cremes which can be so bland. It gives a very faint shimmer that looks divine but not too much that it takes away from the colour underneath. Do not buy this if you want opaqueness - it will never happen unless you use the whole bottle. But this is an amazing polish!

Beautiful colour, GREAT aplication however it sort of left a stain on my cuticles/around my nail where my hand slipped a little which ended up looking really messy and gross but it came off with a "wonder soap" but not polish remover - weird but overall great EDIT This was a pain in the *rse to remove!, the polish came off easy enough but it stained like a m*ther f*cker which I think is odd considering it's a fairly pale colour - however it's very pigmented and left a blue stain on my nail and the surrounding skin it touched during the removal - while I did manage to eventually remove the staining - it was a lot of effort - it's up to you whether its worth it

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
rated 4 of 5
CaittFraser 9/5/2011 9:32:00 AM

I LOVE this product! It's a BALM not a cream and applies very well when it's a little heated up - and by that I don't mean warm, but in the cold weather it's a little harder to apply. It smells like lemon tart - BEAUTIFUL and keeps cuticles SOOO healthy! It's also really cheap (in my oppinion) I bought a 8.5g mini tin for only ONE DOLLAR and it's lasted me ages as you don't need to scoop a heap out, you just rub your finger and apply.

Polishes -China Glaze - Coconut Kiss

OKAY aplication - nothing great. Needed 3 coats not very opaque. Slow drying so is prone to bumps, nicks and smudges between coats. I wasn't particularly fond of the colour, it would be better a bit darker and more purple (leans a bit too pink for me) however, medium purples aren't my thing

Liquid -Cover Girl - TruBlend

I hate this foundation! Mine looks a little different from the pictures (it's from Australia) but it's SHIT. It's heaps watery and barely pigmented! You cannot tell I'm wearing make up... BECAUSE no matter how much you use - nothing builds up... However, I do sometimes use this under my powder if I can't find my primer/moisturiser

Mascara -Mary Kay - Lash Lengthening
rated 4 of 5
CaittFraser 8/27/2011 10:40:00 AM

I first got this mascara as a present, and was like "oh yeah, another mascara" *chucks in pile* but after using it I really noticed that my eyes looked so much nicer! It does do the lengthening bit and adds a bit of volume. It curls the lashes nicely - not like some that pull your lashes into all sorts of directions. The only problem I have with this is that you have to put on a fair few coats to get MY desired dark look for going out. I'm not sure what it costs, as when asking my aunt (who bought me it) where to get it from she automatically bought me a new one! This mascara also lasts a really long time - it doesn't use much to get the perfect look!

Hair Styling Tools -GHD - Original GHD Hairstyling Iron with Ceramic Technology
rated 5 of 5

This is a great straitener. I've had mine for nearly four years now and it still works great. Sometimes I feel the ceramic plates MIGHT be getting a bit loose, but that would be because I do not treat it as i should (oops) It heats up super fast, turns itself off if it's left on too long and straitens really quick! I can do my hair (thick, curly and nearly down to my lower back) in FIFTEEN MINUTES! It is expensive though, I bought it at like $300 or $290 but it might have gone down since then..

Polishes -OPI - Steady As She Rose
rated 3 of 5
CaittFraser 8/27/2011 10:28:00 AM

Colour: To be honest I was a little dissapointed in this colour. It didn't suit my skintone at all, however I think it'd look great on some poeple. I had to use a crackle over it, because it just didn't look good (& I don't like crackles!) I don't think it looks much like the pictures IRL HOWEVER, I only saw it in artificial light, it may look better in the sun. Aplication: Once again, a little dissapointed, two coats was a LITTLE bit streaky and you still had some visable nail line if your nails are on the longer side. I used three, and although if you aren;t that fussed, you can get away with two - i still recon it's a bit too streaky.

Polishes -OPI - Stranger Tides
rated 3 of 5
CaittFraser 8/26/2011 12:47:00 AM

I was extremely skeptical about this colour, but I got it anyway as I purchased the whole colllection but suprisingly when it arrived - stranger tides was the first one I wore. I was extremely suprised that i actually liked wearing it, but after a day I didn't really. It's a really unique colour, sometimes it can even look like a really pale olive green. I'd read rave reviews about it's aplication and was a LITTLE dissapointed, although it was very workable. I used three coats as it was a little streaky - but only if you don't have a very genourous amount on your brush.
