Lovely lipstick, is a matte but goes on with a creamy base. The color, on me, is a brownish plum but comes up with an orange undertone. I compared it to other true cool undertone lipsticks in the same plummy brown and yep, there is a definite WARM base so it has to go back. Shame as it felt good on the lips and left a classic look on the lips.

Excellent shampoo for fine, thin, delicate hair or normal hair that is not coarse, frizzy/curly. Has the most BEAUTIFUL soft rose scent... like a real rose. Gently cleanse.. just lovely. Sadly, my wild Irish hair needs something far stronger so it didn't work for me. I wish it did... it smells so wonderful.....

Pure crap. Dried out my undereye are and made my makeup look terrible... and this was with ALL BY TERRY PRODUCTS! Dry skin/mature types, SAVE YOUR MONEY. Funny, these groups are the ones this product is marketed for.... amazing.

Used BB corrector until she changed the color and formula. Switched to Armani #1 corrector and on a whim, bought this. HOLY MOLY. Better than Armani (which was returned). Get it. Fantastic. NW10 here. For $15? Yeah buddy.

Not that hydrating (prefer Christophe Robins Prickly Pear 1000x's more), PITA to get out of the squeeze bottle, didn't do anything for my hair.

THis did nothing for my hair. Didn't hydrate, didn't add curl, left frizzes galore. Bleh.

I use this with her Rockin Ringlets and love it. The combo leaves my 3a/3b hair looking great. Love the citrus-lavender scent too. No complaints.

So far, this product has given my hair the best "hold". I'm 3a/3b in curls, very long, heavy, low porosity, course and colored every 4 weeks. Works like a charm. No complaints at all. Love the citrus/lavender scent too.

Giving this an "eh" as it's ok but didn't wow me. It cleans but that's about it. Offered unscented is a great option. I love what I'm using now but if for some reason I couldn't get it, I'd buy this one. No bells or whistles, just a basic no-poo cleanser.

This made my 3a hair frizzy and feeling dried out to the touch. I LOVE the fact that they offer un-scented products. Sadly, this conditioner was horrible on my hair.

Primer/ Corrector -By Terry - Hyaluronic Hydra-primer

I'm giving this a low mark because the product description is VERY mis-leading and had I known more about it, I would NOT have purchased it. The concept is that this is a primer that erases/fills in lines, pores, etc to create a flawless base for any foundation. The product is also described as bringing moisture to the skin so it's great for all types. NOT true. It works by bringing moisture FROM the AIR to the skin. Well, ok. It's not like your spritzing water onto your face to keep it moist, however.. and THERE is the problem if you have dry skin. Oily chicks, you'll love this product. It goes on with a cool sensation and dries to a matte finish. It stays matte... the entire time. I have DRY skin, this made me look HORRIBLE. Under foundation my skin looked dehydrated, dry, sickly. Just... terrible. And I used it UNDER a By Terry foundation and OVER a By Terry moisturizer. Terrible. Now, no where on the site or the product does it say this is NOT for dry skin. I looked at blogs reviewing it, nothing. It wasn't until I went to the Barneys site that it read "For normal to combination skin". Ahhhhh... dry skin chicks KNOW this means DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT, lol. Does it fill in everything? Yes, it does which is why I gave it 2 lips. You don't need much and it blends on very easily. The cooling sensation is great. But, dry skin ladies, STAY AWAY. Not a good thing for us.

Skincare - Face -Sjal - Sjal
rated 5 of 5
CJCJ 3/8/2013 8:06:00 PM

I was introduced to this line MANY years ago when it first appeared in Saks for a 2 week time period before it pulled out. An SA sent me samples of the only items in the collection at that time: Cleanser, eye cream and a moisturizer. I tried these and was BLOWN away by how my skin felt (I was using Sisley at the time). I knew they were expensive, but I LOVED them and called after a week to order them. They were GONE and no further info was known. I never found the line and went on to other things. About a year ago, I stumbled up it via Zuneta because the description of the line sounded so much like what I had used almost 10 years earlier. I found that Barneys sold it and requested info: they sent me a booklet, samples of the entire line and the phone number of corporate. Long story short, it was the SAME line and I swooned. I love love love this line. My skin loves it and I can't suggest it enough : ) Though I have and try plenty of skincare, this is my basic line with other lines thrown in for fun (mainly masks). I adore many products and review all I use, but Sjal is my "true" line; when everything is used up, THESE are the products I repurchase and am streamlining towards.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Christophe Robin Huile a la Lavande
rated 5 of 5

I have used oils in the past by WEN as overnight treatments and so, am used to doing that (under a plastic cap only). This product can be used in a few different ways. It's a thick almost hard cream that is to be set in a cup of hot water until it becomes an "oil". You then brush it on your hair with a paint/coloring brush, allow it to sit for 10 minutes at least and then shampoo. Or, apply it all over the hair and sleep in it, then wash out. I've put in my hair and unlike all other oils, it does NOT get greasy. I was able to sleep in it without a plastic cap. It is a clean scent, not heavy nor a strong lavender. Excellent product. Shine, condition without greasy texture.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Christophe Robin Creme Lavante au Citron
rated 5 of 5

New to the Christophe Robin products but am quickly converting over to only his line. I use this the way his video on his site suggests: a cleanser used on hair coated with his Lavender Oil. I have mid-back length, heavy, thick, coarse hair that frizzes/curls and is colored. This shampoo is very gentle and does not lather all that much though it does remove the lavender oil with only one wash. It is NOT enough for my hair, conditioning wise so I follow with his milk and blueberry conditioner ( I also have the shampoo). I have also used it on dry hair as a 30 minute mask and on damp hair and in a plastic bag while I shower, shave my legs, etc. Excellent product no matter how I use it.

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Basics - Linen
rated 4 of 5
CJCJ 2/24/2013 8:13:00 PM

I purchased this to use as an eyelid primer. First time using this product. Linen is the lightest shade offered and has a pink base so as a NW10, this was the only choice. I like it but I don't love it and I don't know why. I have to use it very carefully else I get that WHITE LID look even under eyeshadow. It looks better all by itself as a nudish eyeshadow lid color. What I really like is using it UNDER the eye as a base to cancel out the purple/blue circles. It works well. Who knew.
