This is the longest wearing blush I have ever used! It is very pigmented and you really need to use a good brush and apply it sparingly. There is no shimmer so it does not emphasize pores. It looks very cool in the pan but it turns out a little warmer than you would think.
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios Fluide Extreme SPF 40

Holy Grail! I have combination skin and this is nice and matte on me, great makeup base too. It is a little tricky to put on because it is very thin and runny but it spreads easily and dries quickly. No breaking out. My skin actually feels softer and smoother since I started using this. It cost about $18 in a Paris airport. This also works great with Philosophy's vitamin C powder called Hope and a Prayer mixed in.
This eyeshadow is a nightmare for me. I bought slate and champagne for a easy daytime eye look. I love the natural color, especially of the slate, but it creases like crazy. I use an eyeshadow primer every day and it still creases and I have never had an eyeshadow do this before. It fades very quickly too. I keep reaching for it because the color is so great and then regret it halfway through the day. I guess it could be the Bobbi Brown eye cream I bought at the same time which is to blame. The lid is hard to screw on, it looks similar to a LORAC container except LORAC ones are easy to thread and screw on.
Moisturizers -DDF - Matte Finish Photo-Age Protection SPF 30

This review is actually from my boyfriend. He has oily skin that gets shiny during the day and he loves this stuff. I couldn't get him to remember to apply sunscreen every day but then he realized that this sunscreen kept his face from getting greasy looking so now he never goes out without it! He is convinced it also makes his skin softer and smoother, the ingredient list on this reads like a list of every great antioxidant you can think of. Update: I have been using this too now that it is summertime. I love it and my makeup stays on forever! This works better than Shiseido matifying veil and Clinique pore minimizer! Only downside is that you can't put this near your eyes if you have any wrinkles because it really accentuates them after your powder goes on.
Cleansers -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Facial Cleanser

This is just an average, normal cleansing gel. It doesn't stand a chance next to the amazingly wonderful Jason Natural Cosmetics Vitamin C Cleanser.
Liquid -Shiseido - Sun Protection Liquid Foundation SPF 42 PA+++

This has excellent sunscreen, wears forever, and looks natural while covering flaws. What more could a girl want? I used to wear Shiseido Fluid Foundation in 100 and the lightest shade in this line is just perfect, it looks darker at first but great when it is on my face. My favorite thing about this is the way it can be blended ulta sheer or you can layer on a thicker part over flaws for much more coverage.
Self Tanners -Clarins - Tinted self-tanning face cream SPF 15

This goes on flawlessly, and looks beautiful. Unfortunately it also gives me horrible zits.
This is my everyday foundation and I love it. I have very light ivory - 100 - and it matches my skin better than anything else I have tried. It can go on very sheer if applied over moisturizer or sunscreen, and looks completely natural. I use Shiseido loose powder on top. I do need to use a concealer (Cle de Peau) under my eyes with this since it is so sheer.
Stays on forever and then wears into a stain of shimmer. Cool pink with golden shimmer, with somewhat of a matte texture. Looks great for daytime wear, very natural looking on me, I wear this lipstick quite a bit. I am very fair and have red hair.
This is my HG cleanser, just wonderful! I have tried the Perricone Ester C cleanser and the Avalon C cleanser and this is soooo much better. Leaves my skin perfectly soft, smooth, and calm. The gel is really thick so I usually add about 25% water to the bottle so it is easier to use.
Moisturizers -Murad - Energizing Pomegranate Moisturizer SPF 15

No breakouts, no irritation, some UVA protection, and it smells great too. It leaves a fresh dewy finish, but it is not at all greasy. Update: I have now switched to La Roche-Posay - Anthelios Fluide Extreme SPF 40 because it has much better UVA protection.
Lovely! This is equivalent of NARS Orgasm for those with cool toned skin. It makes me look glowing and healthy, like I just worked out. I have extremely fair skin and turns out very natural looking. Update: This stuff goes fast, the package holds less than you would think. Regardless it is a must have for me and I will replace it if Sephora ever gets one in stock again. These just fly off the shelves the day they come in!
Treatments -The Body Shop - Vitamin C Supercharged Face Serum

This made my face break out into red itchy hives almost instantly. I love C serum, but NOT this one... It does smell divine though.
Liquid -Stila - Pivotal Skin Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

Love it! So easy to apply. This is a sheer silicone based make-up in a touch pad. Great colors. It's nearly invisible if you don't put on too much. I use this in summer when I have self-tanner on. Almay Nearly Naked is identical if they have your color in thier limited (no PPP shades) color selection. Update: This comes off too quick even though it looks great while it is on. I think the Almay version actually works better than this one.
Styling Products -Alterna - Hemp Seed Straightening Balm
CA_kitty 4/15/2003 9:28:00 PM
Great product to use before blow drying my hair straight. Detangles wet hair, protects from heat, and doesn't make hair greasy/dirty. I prefer Kerestase Oleo Relax serum to this product. The knock-off of this at Sally's by Beyond the Zone does not contain the same ingredients.
