Palettes -Urban Decay - Naked Basics

I like the concept of having a palette with "basic matte shades". However there are many "basic dupes" comparable to this palette. The packaging is nice and compact with a good sized mirror. However the colors are too cool for my tanned skin and it comes out really ashy or muddy looking on me. It does however complement the first two naked palettes.

reasonably priced. decent product. great for both a suttle glow or shimmer. not too glittery. it is best used with a brush and not the heart shaped sponge it comes with.

looks great on the skin but is NOT good for the skin. MAC face products are NOT made for "everyday" use. they are really made for photo shoots, special occasions, etc. their foundation looks great on the skin and especially in photos, but it will definitely break you out. a lot of the employee's who work for MAC actually use other brands of foundation (but they will NOT tell you that).

this product is meant to work instantaneously, does the job for a "quick fix". does nothing for long term results. works well under concealer and makeup. nice packaging. the price of mac products go up every year.

this product does NOT work for everyone. it's the worse skin care system i have ever tried. it made my skin worse (even after giving it the alloted amount of recommended time to test out the product). it made me break out even WORSE (cystic acne which left ugly scars). the minute i stopped using the product my face cleared up. i would never ever recommend this product to anyone, it's garbage!

great for liner and as a base for eyeshadow (if you are going for a smokey or dramatic eye). i religiously use dipdown for my brows with the #266 angle brush. this is one of my favorite MAC products. a little bit of product goes a long way. i have the fluidline in several different colors, but normally use dipdown and blacktrack.

i have been using this product for 8 years and i love it. i use it to seal my brows when i fill them in. i have never tried it for anything else such as on the lips or eyeliner.

similar / comparable to MAC liquid last liner. i purchased this at cvs and it was buy one get on half off. not bad for the quality and price! long lasting and great for oily skin.

i love this liner! it goes on smooth and is not drying to the lips. i am a big fan of natural / nude / light pink lips, so i normally use 018 - addiction, 030 - natural, 063 - eastend snob. these lip liners can be easliy purchase at walmart, target, walgreen, cvs, etc. the prices varie at each location, but watch out for sales, sometimes you can buy on get one half off.
