I find it so funny how someone said they switch from this to Laura Mercier - I did the exact opposite! I have tried many TMs; physicians formula, sephora brand, cover girl and wanted to try a higher end name, and tried Laura Mercier. All of them had terrible coverage that wore off in a few hours. Although I like a sheer coverage, I want it to last. THIS IS MY HG! Absolutely LOVE this. Never bought anything from Kiehls, but I saw the great review here and decided to try it. Coverage is AMAZING. Just what I'm looking for! And it blends into my skin super well - so even though theres only 2 (or 3?) colors, it doesn't matter! It really is amazing! I am NC20/NW20 and I got this in light and its perfect!! All i do is put this, JUST A SMALL AMOUNT, and some bronzer and its amazing. Lasts all day - so happy I found this gem! And considering the amount you get (and the amount you need - one pea sized drop is enough!), it's worth the price. SO HAPPY!!!

Cleansers -Olay - Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash

Wow, I absolutely ADORE this stuff. I have tried so many face washes out there including high end stuff, philosophy purity, and other drugstore names. This is by far THE BESTTT!! For reference, I had horrible acne/acne prone skin and oral medications a year ago, so I'm left with clogged pores and lots of scarring :( After trying this, I saw a different in just a few days. It's very good at taking makeup off, but like others have mentioned, not eye makeup. But I always take it off before I wash my face anyways. To those of you who have a Clarisonic - THIS IS THE BEST WASH TO USE WITH IT! Fantastic! Will be repurchasing as long as they continue to make this! Thanks MUA for helping me find this gem :) And plus, the price cannot be beat for about $12 CAN and you get a NICE amount!

So, I decided to give into the hype and try this. All I have to say is - thank god for Sephora's return policy! I got this in the second lightest color, I believe it's nude, for my NC20 skin. I must say the color was perfect for my skin, but that's probably the only good part. I don't have oily skin, but this made it seem way oilier! I hate looking made up so and having tried some other drugstore names, I thought I'd give this a try. However, I was really disappointed and I really did want to like it. A few hours after the application, with a primer, it didn't even look like I was wearing makeup. I was, however, really pleased with its moisturizing power. So thankfully, I returned this today. If you really want something light, I suggest to try another brand or even a powder. Still on the hunt for a great TM though :(

Cleansers -LUSH - Fresh Farmacy

While this soap is pretty drying, I must say why this is so incredible. No, I do not use it as a facial wash soap. HOWEVER, whenever i have a breakout, I pretty much drench my blemish is Fresh Farmacy and leave it overnight and in the morning it is GONE!! If you repeat this the second night, any redness or sign of the blemish is gone. This stuff is amazing, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a face wash! Also, when you go to Lush, ask them to cut you off a very small piece - even if you use it as a soap. This stuff dries up and if you keep it for more thatn 4-6 months, it basically won't be useable. But, because i use it as a blemish treatment, I really just get a tiny amount and it lasts me a while!!

Masks -LUSH - Mask of Magnaminty

This mask is really nice. It deep cleanses and works as a nice scrub when you wash it off. However, I had to give it three lippies because of the sting it gives (but doesn't leave redness) and the mess it causes. The shelf live is also very very short, maybe 3 months, and as its nearing that date (And you're trying to finish the pot!) it gets horribly crumbly and messy. I basically can't leave my bathroom because it crumbles everywhere, leaving a big mess. I would probably re purchase this, but not for a while. I need something a bit more clean, so I'm trying the St. Ives mineral clay mask. Bottom line - if you have sensitive skin like me, you might want to avoid because it really does burn/sting with all the mint!

OMG. This stuff is unbelievable. Is it terrible that I look for excuses to wash my hands more often?? First of all, this smells incredible. Puts you right into the fall mood, even when you'd like to think its still summer. It smells in credible - literally like caramel and apple. The smell lingers and its so amazing I just love smelling my hands! And as an added plus my hands are sooo soft!! Definitely recommend!!!

OMG. I just bought this yesterday and its absolutely amazing. It's like vaseline but the consistency is unbelievable and the smell is so light and sweet. I was about to buy the chocolate lip balm when the rep told me this would be a better value since you get way more for the price. I normally don't fall for that kind of stuff but I'm sooo happy I did!! I can't stop putting this on my lips and it just makes them look so moisturized and luscious! It was definitely worth the $12.95 CAN. EDIT: Actually really dislike this. Definitely not meant for lips. I think I just loved this because I was in a LUSH phase. The smell and taste are gross - its literally like vaseline. I dont know what I'm going to do with it now...probably give it to my boyfriend for his elbows or something...

Cleansers -LUSH - Angels on Bare Skin

I really like this cleanser. It leaves my face soft and smooth. Took off a lippy because I find my skin chooses sometimes to not like it - but it doesn't really stop me. I recommend this for the morning because it doesn't really remove makeup and therefore is probably insufficient for a nighttime cleanser.

Absolutely love this stuff!! I haven't yet tried it on my natural curly hair but I have tried it on damp hair before I blow dry/iron my hair. This leaves my hair soooo silky and shiny and smooth and makes the highlights and my color overall POP!! I can never stop touching my hair! And it smells so great. Absolutely loveeee!! Will be repurchasing!

I really like this color. I was looking for something close to silent Mauvie - unfortunately, this isn't it but I still really like it. Its a darker dusty rose and its beautiful on fingers and toes. I wear this all year round but it probably could be considered a more fall color. The color lasts extremely long and is resistant to chipping. Its pretty neutral, however, which I like because I can wear alot with it. Definitely recommend!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

I really love this powder. It works great for my very fair acne prone skin. I use this on top of a tinted moisturizer and its perfect. I find it pretty pricey...here in canada, I paid $15, but I won't complain considering other powders are way more expensive. This doesn't make me look cakey at all and doesn't clog my pores. It lasts all day and surprisingly, even after I sweat after a really hot day! Like others have mentioned, the packaging sucks. It feels so cheap. The puff it comes with is embarassing. I use my mac 130 brush and I find it blends the moisturizer with the powder really well. Will definitely re-purchase (although this will last me a very long time!)

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - WetSlicks Crystals

I don't care what anyone says this lipgloss gives you tons of bang for your buck. Sure, the packaging is light and almost makes it feel very cheap (which it kinda is!) But for me, nothing will ever beat the beauty of the color Peaches n' Gleam. Absolutely love it have been buying it for years now. Its shimmery but not too overbearing - definitely dooable interchangeably for day and night. It's not sticky and all and I've never really paid attention to staying power but if you want a lipgloss to last a long time - dont get a lipgloss! Even Buxom (which I also love) doesn't stay long! I really love this I can't complain for the beauty and the price!

Conditioner -L'Oreal - EverStrong Hydrating conditioner

Absolutely adore this shampoo with conditioner. Was on the craziest search for a while now for the best shampoo and conditioner. I've found combinations that work, but none half as great as this along with the matching hydrating shampoo. First off, I have very dry, damaged (color, highlights and chi iron!) hair that is very thick and curly. I used to embrace my curls but so many shampoos have made them look gross and frizzy which is why I always straighten. Not only does this shampoo smell great (albeit I'll admit I didn't love the smell at first) it really is amahhhzing and so relaxing! It does linger but not very strong. Well, the amazing thing about this is it makes my hair frizz free, soft and manageable and my color stays amazingly well! When I straightened my hair, it was such a dream. Its so amazing to have this shampoo that I can wear my hair both natural and styled! Also, this is very hydrating, as advertised. My HG! Now going to look for the mask!

BEST STRAIGHTENING CREAM ON THE MARKET!!!!! This makes your hair incredible soft and so easy to straighten - which is a joy with my thick curly hair. Cannot recommend this enough and costs about $2.99!!! Definitely my HG and will be repurchasing (please don't discontinue!!)
