Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

I brought this foundation simply because I like a heavy coverage and it does a great job. The colour is a perfect match to my skin (nw35) and it doesn’t make me breakout or get a rash or anything insane like that. I apply the foundation with a foundation kabuki brush and I can build the coverage up and it’ll not look cakey but just right. The only thing I don’t like about it is the bottle. I hate how you have to purchase a pump separately and I have to shake up the bottle every time so the foundation comes to the top. MAC should change the packaging and I don’t mind the price that much but it would be heaven if it was a bit cheaper! I would repurchase again though, I am in love with this foundation :)

Lipstick -MAC - Please Me
rated 4 of 5

This lipstick is more of a nude pink for me and that’s a no no for me as nude lips don’t suit me at all. I am very tanned skin so light colours tend to look horrible on me. What I really like about Please Me is that it’s very pigmented and goes on my lips really smoothly. I use a darker lip gloss on top to make it blend and look more bold. I have lips that are dark so for a lipstick to go on as pigmented as Please Me is a winner but I just wasn’t feeling the colour as much as Chatterbox which goes on more pink than nude. I wouldn’t repurchase Please Me again, but it’s good for anyone looking for a pigmented lipstick.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse
rated 5 of 5

I started using Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse when I was looking for a foundation for my acne-prone, oily skin. Liquid foundations don’t give me enough coverage, and believe me as I have been through tons and tons of different types of foundation. But when I came across Dream Matte Mousse, I thought I’ll try it out as it’s not a liquid but a mousse. The mousse itself goes on the skin smoothly and it covers EVERYTHING. I have repurchased the colour “Sun Beige” for about two years now and it’s one of those products that I will SUE Maybelline for discontinuing it. The Dream Matte Mousse does NOT give me any breakouts and I feel my skin is baby soft when I apply it. I always applied it with a Kabuki brush and it just goes on flawlessly. It’s worth every penny.
