I'm a 2 in this foundation and my heart shriveled up a little when I found out the treatment foundation was being discontinued. I've never been one for foundation because I always thought it looked fake, noticeable, too heavy but this stuff is amazing. It's buildable, oil free, great coverage, stays put and looks natural. I've been snatching it up everywhere and will hoard it until I can't find anymore. I'm so, so disappointed they've discontinued this and made the transition to the Cover Tint. Blah.

$60 for anything is a lot of dough but I thought I would give this a try because it has great reviews AND I had my fingers crossed that my sensitive-skin-that's-allergic-to-everything-but-air skin would tolerate it because it's...minerals. Wrong. This product does make my makeup go on flawlessly and stay put fr a few hours BUT, the three times I've used it, I've had a breakout. Coincidence? I think not. I also noticed my face seemed to be a little bit oiler. I wanted to love this but unfortunately, my skin did not.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

I've used the washcloth method on my face for years and years and about 5 months ago I broke down and spent $100 (Amazon) on the Mia. Then because of my temperamental skin, I let it sit on my bathroom counter for 3.5 months. I was afraid to use it. I started out slow, only using it a couple of times a week but I instantly loved how soft my skin felt but felt the original brush was way too hard - I'd scrub my floor with that! I bought the acne brush and liked how soft it was but my skin didn't feel very clean but I didn't get any new blemishes. I have to deal with monthly hormonal breakouts on my chin which are sometimes cystic. I decided to try to deep pore brush and my face from my forehead to my chin is having some problems. Now, I'm not sure if it's the brush head, my time of the month or if my skin looked so fantastic at the beginning of regular use because I was dying of the flu and was on a course of antibiotics! I've switched back to the acne brush and my skin seems to slowly be clearing again. I also think part of the problem may have been my tendency to spend 59 seconds on just my chin and speed through the rest of my face. I like how soft my skin feels, I like less dry flakes but I'm still trying to figure out if the Clarisonic is causing my roller coaster skin or if it's other factors.

Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

This stuff in conjunction with green cream have saved my face. I went from cystic chin acne to clear skin. I like the lotion best because the gel is too sticky and the liquid is too messy. I think the lotion can make combo/oily people even more oily but I have dry skin so it works perfectly for me.

I have a love/hate relationship with this stuff because while it helps fade old acne marks and seems to even out my skin tone it alaso gave me a ton of pimple. The only place I ever get them is my chin..hormonal acne I suppose but with using this stuff I got them under my nose and on my forehead. I was really hoping it would work for me.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I've been using this product for about a month. I like how smooth and soft it makes my skin feel BUT I find myself washing it a couple times so that it feels really clean. I am very sensitive skin and am allergic to almost everything (cosmetics/cleaners) so this has done well for me since it hasn't broken me out or gave me a rash. It doesn't dry my skin out either. Good stuff.
