Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - The Egg Bomb
Bunz 8/5/2009 12:42:00 PM
Yes, of course, I was skeptical too. But this simple 3 ingredient concoction is amazing. I have color treated, 50% coarse gray hair and this is the first thing that's actually smoothed it out. I use Pureology Nano shampoo and conditioner, and although it helps, nothing compares to this. I left mine on 2 hours while watching a movie, and I just can't say enough. Like another reviewer, I used no serums or products at all: just shampoo, condition and blow dry. I plan to use this weekly. Thank you so much to the gal who posted this!

Shampoo -Pureology - Nanoworks Shampoo
Bunz 4/12/2008 1:18:00 PM
I almost had a panic attack while paying $100 for shampoo and conditioner, but after using Nanoworks for a month, I'm so glad I shelled out the dough. My hair is color treated and people used to tell me I needed to cut it all off and start new it was so limp, processed and damaged. Enter Nanoworks: unbelieveable transformation, seriously. For the gals like me who cringe at the price, think how many times a meal out or an item of clothing has cost roughly $100, and then think how your hair is an everyday accessory. I would skip eating at restaurants for a month to buy this stuff. However, if you have healthy, youthful hair, you won't like this.

Pressed Powders -Too Faced - Absolutely Invisible
Bunz 1/8/2008 11:00:00 PM
I purchased this based strictly on the great reviews here. Boy, am I disappointed! Usually the MUA gals steer me in the right direction, but this powder is awful. Did not cover anything, didn't control shine...just left me looking like I was wearing a white mask. What a waste of money.

Did anyone else notice how much this moisturizer stinks? It has a repulsive smell like petrol chemicals or something, Yuck. It works nicely, tho :-)

Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - Glycolic Acid 10% Hydrating Gel
Bunz 10/6/2007 9:58:00 PM
Miracle, miracle product! I've had stubborn, clogged pores (blackheads) on the sides of my chin for, let's see....12 years or so, that I could NEVER get rid of and I tried everything. After using this gel for 2 weeks, the clogged pores have vanished and my skin is smooth as a baby's butt. Unbelievable. No purging, nothing. It's the miracle product my skin has been waiting for, and like another reviewer said, the $50 price tags is no big deal. UPDATE: Since I discovered this gel, I haven't used my Zeno, not even once.

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Good-bye Cellulite
Bunz 5/17/2007 11:52:00 AM
I don't want to mess up the good reviews on this product, but it didn't work for me. I'm 37, no kids, some cellulite on thighs. I purchased the patches also. Applied the cream twice a day, patches overnight, and saw absolutely no difference.

Treatments -Alpha Hydrox - AHA Souffle 12 percent Glycolic AHA
Bunz 10/28/2006 3:25:00 PM
I bought and tried this 3 months ago. Broke out horribly all over my face the first week but stuck with it becasue I thought I was just purging my pores. The second week, I got 5 cystic pimples so I quit using it. Then last week, after revisiting the reviews, I did an experiment and only used it on my chin for a few days. Well sure enough here I sit with 3 enormous pimples on my chin, and I'm using my Zeno furiously trying to get rid of them. I guess there must be something in this that my skin can't handle.

Scrubs -Wet 'n' Wild - Daily Cleansing Scrub
Bunz 10/15/2006 12:12:00 PM
If someone would have told me I'd be using Wet 'n' Wild skincare products last month, I'd of thought they were insane. I am a skincare snob and have no idea why I even bought this line (probably becasue it's so inexpensive). Boy, was I surprised when my skin started looking like it was airbrushed! Seriously, it is just as good, if not better, than any high end skin care product, including that from my dermatologist. I use this cleanser in the morning and my oily skin is controlled all day, it's smooth and soft, and blemish free (except for the monthly undergrounders that Zeno takes care of!) Would highly recommend this to anyone, on a budget or not.

I have tried every de-puffing product out there and none has ever worked. I bought this based on the recommendations here and am so happy I did becasuse this works better than anything. I wake every morning with puffy undereyes and apply this immediately then go make coffee and wake up. By the time I'm ready to shower and get going, my eyes have zero-puff to them. I am shocked and delighted with this product.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Zeno
Bunz 10/12/2006 2:08:00 PM
I was skeptical about this product because of the price, however, it was one of the best purchases I have ever made. As soon as I feel an "undergrounder" coming on, I zap it every 5 hours and it has worked perfectly every time. My hubby freaked when he saw the price, but after eliminating 3 big pimples on his face, he's a believer. Definitely money well spent.

Blush -L'Oreal - Blush Delice - Front-Page Peach
Bunz 3/18/2006 10:37:00 PM
There is no way I would have bought this blush without reading the reviews. It looks like a putrid orange in the container, but as everyone has said here, it's really beautiful on the skin. I am so pleasantly surprised. I have super pale skin and thought for sure it would look coral or orange, but no. Hopefully this will become a regular in the L'Oreal lineup.

Bronzers -BeneFit Cosmetics - HOOLA
Bunz 6/24/2005 12:21:00 PM
This has been a miracle for my pale, pale skin. I have been searching for a matte bronzer (shimmer make my oily skin look even olier) and I bought this based on recs from the make up board. The trick is to apply it with a very light touch. I first dip my powder brush in Revlons even-out yellow based powder, then roll it around in the Hoola, wipe of the excess and apply. Gives the most believable tan with no orange whatsoever. I'm surpirsed this hasn't gotten better reviews.

Luckily this was cheap....it was horrible! I applied with a light touch and looked like a pumpkin. Returning today.

Treatments -Neutrogena - Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System [DISCONTINUED]
Bunz 5/4/2005 1:17:00 PM
This is SO much better than the L'Oreal Microdermabrasion scrub. I've been using it for 2 weeks and my skin looks amazing. I alternate this with the asprin mask (I know the directions say not to do it) and have had nothing but clear, glowing skin. I had a breakout recently from some Coppertone sunless tanning face junk, and this (along w/asprin mask) cleared it up completely. It is expensive, but worth it.

Lovin' this liner. It's a great YLBB shade if applied LIGHTLY. I'd chose this over Spice or Whirl anyday.
