I had gotten a tube of this for free yesterday and was really excited to try it out. I have super stubby eyelashes and the idea of them "growing" longer was really appealing. Upon first application, I really liked this mascara. It didn't make them spidery or clumpy, just a nice natural day look. Hours later when I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. It had migrated to both the top lid and under my eyes. Seriously, it looked like I had been crying. Maybe the waterproof is better and not so smudgy, but unless you want to look like a raccoon...pass.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Power Collagen 24H

I've been a fan of the original Voluminous mascara but having been let down by a previous drugstore mascara (I'm looking at you, Falsies Black Drama!), I wasn't expecting much. I have itty bitty thin lashes and this stuff made them look HUGE. Like Kim Kardashian huge. I personally love the brush and was able to go over my lashes again and again without it ever clumping. I would say it's comparable to Benefit's They're Real but super easy to wash off (and about $18 cheaper!). The only drawback? I would recommend using a different mascara on the bottom lashes since the brush is so big that you'll get a bit of it on your face. Or if you want natural looking lashes, skip altogether.

Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Intensive Nourishing Night Cream

I guess this is one of those "love it or hate it" sort of night creams and I am head over heels in love with this stuff! I bought it because I needed a night cream since I tend to get patches of dry skin on my chin and I wanted to start preventing wrinkles that are slowly starting to appear. The price is what eventually sold me (I think it was around $11 at the local drugstore) and within days not only was my skin not flaky, my adult acne started clearing up as well! It's been 2 weeks and my skin is smooth without a blemish in sight. Whether or not it fights wrinkles has yet to be seen (I'm only 30) but overall I see an improvement in my skin and for the price, you just can't beat it.
