Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline

Feline is a really great eyeliner. Probably the darkest black I've used, to date. Only complaint would be that it does tend to smudge througout the day, but that is normal of most of MAC's Kohl Eye Pencils. I've actually found that if I apply a thin coat of a skin colored paint pot or concealer to the perimiter of my eye, smudging is greatly reduced, or even non-existant. I wish this were part of the permanent collection so that I could repurchase regularly, but I guess for now I will just have to wait until the repromote it to get another one. Great job, MAC!

Lipstick -MAC - Glaze in Pervette

I don't know why so many brown skinned ladies on here are having such difficulty with this lippie. I absolutely LOVE this color. By itself, it isn't anything amazing, but you have to know how to work with it. I pair it with either MAC lipliner in Magenta or NYX lipliner in Purple Rain. I line my lips with the liner and pair it with Pervette. The end result is a beautiful pink/purple lipcolor that really pops and looks beautiful against my skin (NC50/C8 for reference). I am smitten with the color and I will definitely repurchase when I run out!

Lipstick -NARS - Shanghai Express

I....Love...This...Lipstick!! As a woman of color, I usually try to stay with blue-based reds like Ruby Woo (which I love, by the way), but this is actually a non blue-based that looks absolutely amazing on me. It's certainly red, but it has more of a deep tone to it. Very sexy. Even with the high price point, I'd definitely repurchase a tube of this when I run out.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 263 Small Angle (Ox & Synthetic hair)

I absolutely love this brush! Within the past few months, I've definitely perfected my brow application, and I feel that this brush has aided in this. It's thin enough to allow for precision, and also large enough to fill in the brow quickly and without hassle. It tends to splay a little bit after each use, but I can fix that by removing the product buildup with brush cleaner, and then placing the brush back into the brush guard. I see this brush lasting me a very long time, but I will definitely re-purchase if I need to!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal

I absolutely love this mascara. I own both this and CoverGirl's Lash Blast in the volumizing formula, and this, by far, is my favorite. My lashes look long, full and luxurious! I don't experience any clumping, and the product stays in place and does not run down my face by the end of the day.

Lipstick -MAC - Retro Matte - Ruby Woo

I really only started getting into lipsticks about a year ago. Since then, my MAC lippie collection has become pretty impressive, and this hot shade is a contributer to that! As a woman of color, I had a difficult time finding a red shade that would match my complexion. (I'm shade NC50/C8, for reference). Through my research, I found that a woman with my complextion would be best suited with a red shade that had blue undertones. I watched endless Youtube videos on this product and finally decided to give it a try. I am SO happy that I did. This is, by far, the most beautiful shade of red that has ever touched my lips! It is a bit drying, as others had said, but the finished look is well worth it. Plus, it's nothing that a little lip balm beforehand can't fix. I don't see myself running out of this anytime soon, but I definitely plan on repurchasing, once I do!!

OMG!! This is the most amazing primer I have ever used!! My skin literally feels like silk when I apply it. I used it for the first time when I was getting ready for a night out on the town, and my foundation stayed put all night and my skin looked flawless! My only complaint would be that the bottle is so small, but you really don't need to use alot of product so I can see it lasting for quite some time. Definitely worth the money, and I will re-purchase once I run out. Good job, Smashbow! =D

O...M...G...I absolutely LOVE this product! I purchased it about a month ago due to all of the rave reviews I had read. Plus, I was looking for a product that would allow me to still have a polished look during the humid summer months without making me appear cakey. I was a bit hesitant because I was unsure of what the consistency and coverage would be like, but I tried it for the first time this morning and I am in LOVE! No joke, this may now be my favorite MAC product of all time (and I own ALOT lol). I believe the color I used is Deep Dark, and it matches my NC50/C8 complexion beautifully. It gave me a nice, healthy looking glow, and left my skin looking flawless. I didn't even need to use alot of product to cover my entire face. I'm thinking about stocking up on a few more tubes just so that I'll never run out lol. Great job with this one, MAC. Will definitely re-purchase again, and again!

Absolutely beautiful color! Looks like it may bee too bright on my skin tone just by looking at the pan, but once applied, it leaves a nice, light wash of pink on my cheeks. Looks brilliant when applied with my MAC 187 brush. Will definitely re-purchase!

I absolutely love this product! It leaves my skin nice and hydrated, while also giving me a dewey look that does not make my skin look cakey. The bottle is nice and sturdy, and I love that the twist cap has a lock position, which prevents the product from spilling when I have it in my travel bag. I have the original formula as well as the Fix + Rose formula. Love them both and will definitely re-purchase when I run out =)

I think I'm in love! lol....this brush is absolutely amazing. While I must admit that it was a bit painful to hand over $52 plus tax for a makeup brush, it was completely worth it. The brush is super soft and just the right size to apply my powder all over my face. It gives me alot of control with my powder and does not leave me looking cakey or overly make up. I have yet to experience any shedding, and it did not bleed when I washed it. I've only had it for a little over a week so far, but I am very happy with my purchase. I stated that I would re-purchase this product, but if it lasts as long as most people have said, I don't think I will need to!! Great job M.A.C!! =)

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

This is probably one of the first types of mascara I ever purchased when I was in my pre-teen years, and I still love it today! It's probably one of the more affordable drugstore mascaras, but the quality is just as good as a high end product. Leaves my lashes looking long, very black and luxurious! Only negative is that it burns a bit if it gets in your eye while you're applying it, but that has to do with the user, not the wand. Definitely will re-purchase!

Palettes -Coastal Scents - Creative Me #1 Palette

I LOVE this palette. The colors are gorgeous, matte, and highly pigmented. You can create so man dramatic looks with the palette alone. The large mirror on the inner lid is also a huge plus. I may not re-purchase the entire palette, but only because I plan on just replacing the individual hot pots when they run out. Definitely worth the money!

This brush was an absolute joke, but I guess you get what you pay for. I got this brush from CS along with about 11 others that I ordered, and this was the biggest disappointment. The brush is TINY! So small compared to all of the other brushes in my collection. It does a decent job with picking up color, but I definitely won't re-purchase this. The large chiseled brush is 10x better.

Honestly, I purchased this brush because I was being too cheap to dish out the money for the Jumbo Italian Badger Fan Brush lol. It's not horrible, but I don't feel this brush is full enough to work effectively as a highlighter brush. I plan on using it to wipe away the fall out from my eyeshadow. The next time I order any CS brushes, I'm just going to bite the bullet and purchase the jumbo one, since that's the one I wanted most anyway. I didn't experience any shedding with it though, so that's a plus. Decent brush, but I won't be purchasing again.
