Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam V
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 2/26/2012 3:00:00 AM

This was the very first lipstick shade that I purchased from MAC, and I've probably repurchased the lipglass close to four or five times now! This lipstick is a universally flattering shade, and it's definitely a 'my lips but better' shade and definitely a 'holy grail' product. Whenever I wear this lipstick, along with cork lip pencil and the Viva Glam V lipglass, women of all races/ages ask me to write down the information on what I'm wearing on my lips! It's a lovely marriage of nude/pink/blush/brown. It's basically my default lipstick whenever I have no idea what to wear on my lips, and it always looks fantastic with any color smokey eye. The best part is that the 100% of proceeds go towards HIV/AIDS research and awareness funding!

Lipstick -MAC - Cream Lipstick in Dubonnet
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 2/26/2012 2:52:00 AM

After searching high and low for the perfect, wearable red lipstick I finally found Dubonnet!! It's a deeper red shade, that has hints of brown undertones, but still definitely looks red. I think this red looks great on those that have golden tones in their complexion, like myself, as well as people with cooler undertones. The best thing about this particular shade is that it can always be brightened up, or deepened with the right lip pencil -- think MAC's Cherry or Redd lip pencil for a brighter look and Mahogany or Vino for a deeper look. It's very similar to MAC's Viva Glam I, but the Amplified formula is non drying and has fantastic color payoff. Whenever I wear this lipstick, it stays in place for several hours and I get a ton of compliments on my lips. I'll always wear this lipstick when I need to add a bit of Hollywood glamour to my look, and I'll most certainly repurchase this lovely lipstick.

Fragrances -Chanel - Coco Mademoiselle
rated 5 of 5

I absolutely love, love, loveeee this perfume and I think of it as my signature scent. This fragrance lasts all day and has it has a very alluring and captivating scent. It's not too musky and not too floral and it's definitely not your Grandmother's scent (a la Chanel No. 5). I always get a ton of compliments when I wear this fragrance... especially from men, so that should definitely tell you something! Coco Mademoiselle is rose gold, liquid perfection combination of glamour, sophistication and sexiness in a bottle. Yummy!

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 1/22/2012 6:48:00 PM

I was first introduced to this eyeliner when I received it with the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I have very sensitive eyes, and prior to using this eyeliner I only used Almay's eyeliner, as it was the only one that didn't irritate my eyes. I was quite skeptical about this product, but I thought I would give it a shot just to see what the fuss was about. Since my initial introduction, I have purchased this eyeliner twice! It definitely does everything that it says. It's very creamy, glides on like a dream and stays on all day. It is a bit pricey for an eyeliner, but it definitely lasts a long time, so it balances out. I am constantly being asked which brand of eyeliner I'm wearing by women of all ages on a consistent basis. This eyeliner is definitely a holy grail item for me, and I can't wait to try it in other colors...especially Perversion, since that's supposed to be an even more intense shade of black than Zero.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Select Sheer Pressed Powder
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 11/5/2011 12:10:00 AM

I have been wearing this powder for at least six years now and I absolutely love it. I honestly don't know how many compacts I did however make the mistake of switching over to MAC's Studio Careblend and I quickly returned back to my beloved holy grail powder, before I even hit pan! This powder blends into the skin so amazingly that it is virtually undetectable. I constantly receive compliments on my skin and people always want to know which foundation I wear. They're always surprised to know that I am in fact not wearing any foundation at all, and that I'm simply wearing concealer along with this powder. The best thing about the Select Sheer Pressed Powder is the price! It's quite affordable for a MAC powder and I certainly don't mind purchasing it several times throughout the year. I just hope MAC never discontinues this powder!

Polishes -Essie - Berry Hard
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 11/4/2011 11:20:00 PM

This nail lacquer is the perfect vampy shade of red for the Fall and Winter months. I would say that it falls into the wine/blood red/burgundy/berry (hence the name) color family. It's a sexy shade that looks very sophisticated on short to mid-length nails. The color alone is very glossy without a top coat, and quite chip resistant once a top coat is applied. I think it's also very office appropriate. Overall, it's a great shade that can be worn by women of all ages.

Gels/Soaps -Caress - Evenly Gorgeous
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 6/16/2011 10:54:00 PM

I absolutely love this body wash! It has excellent exfoliating properties (not too soft and not too rough either -- just right), it is moisturizing and the smell is amazingggg! It is such a luxurious treat to hop into the shower each morning and indulge myself in it's intoxicating scent. It smells like a mix of caramel with a hint of Tahitian vanilla and it also contains burnt brown sugar which creates a sweet, but not obnoxious scent. The best word to describe it would be decadent. It definitely takes aromatherapy to another level.

Lipstick -MAC - Half-N-Half
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 6/7/2011 11:33:00 PM

After months of struggling with Fresh Brew's color, texture and staying power I decided to find a new everyday, nude MAC lipstick. I decided to try out Half-N-Half on a whim, and I discovered that I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK!!! It's the perfect opaque 'my lips but better' nude shade for me... BUT I have to pair it with MAC's Cork lip pencil, or else I'll have that ashy, 'powdered doughnut' look on my lips. I love to top this lip combo off with either Viva Glam V, Beaux or Liquer Lipglass. The color payoff on this shade is great, because it is an Amplified lipstick. The texture is quite creamy and it does not dry my lips out at all.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Twilight Woods
rated 5 of 5
BronzedBeauty 6/7/2011 11:20:00 PM

I usually only shop at Bath & Body Works during their Semi-Annual, which means that I am more familiar with the older scents. I rarely buy B&BW 's newer fragrances, so when I ran out of the items that I'd purchased at their previous sale I had no idea what to get. The sales associate quizzed me on my favorite fragrances (Coco Mademoiselle, Michael Kors and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb) and she suggested that I try out Twilight Woods. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was never on my radar due to the fact that I always assumed that it was more masculine since there is also a Twilight Woods for Men. I tried it out later that evening after taking a shower and I fell in love! Twilight Woods is a new favorite of mine, and I will be repurchasing it. It's probably one of the most complex scents sold at B&BW and it can easily rival high end designer fragrances (it has similar notes as Flowerbomb, Lady Million and Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur). I think it can be worn all year round, and it is a very sexy and alluring scent. A definite must buy!
