Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System

I am very pleased with Proactiv. I wish I would have tried it long ago. I didn't have very bad acne, but usually at least 2 pimples. I tend to break out on my jawline. A few months ago it started getting worse and nothing was helping. My friend had Proactiv and I used the facewash and the repairing treatment one night. My face felt very soft and smooth and the pimples I had started getting better almost instantly. I went to the kiosk in the mall and got the 3 step treatment and I also got the green tea face lotion, mask, moisturizer, and oil control lotion included. It was almost $70 for all of it. A little pricey. I bought it in mid April. I am almost out of the facewash. Everything else is pretty full still. I use the face wash at least twice a day. I use the repairing lotion twice a day. I use the mask a couple times a week and it is very helpful. I don't really use the other stuff. I don't think the oil control stuff works. My skin isn't super oily, but can get a little greasy at times. Anyway, since I've started using Proactiv I have had 2 average sized zits. Maybe a handful of very little ones that are barely noticeable. It is a little drying at times. I have to be careful to only apply the repairing lotion on my tzone and where i break out. Avoid eye area or drier parts of face. I think I got those 2 zits only because I didn't apply it a couple times since it was drying me out a little, but I haven't gotten any since I've been more consistent with it. I put Cetaphyl on afterward at night, and I use Aveeno face lotion with SPF 30 during the day. The Proactiv moisturizer that came with the kit is only SPF 15. My complexion overall is more even. Now my scars are almost all healed as well. Also, the exfoliation in the facewash has helped with fine lines! I'm really pleased and will continue to use it! It is by far the best acne treatment I've ever tried! It is nice to enjoy putting on makeup and not waste my time trying to cover up my zits. The frustration is over and I'm SO relieved!

Shampoo -Physique - Amplifying Shampoo

I got this shampoo/conditioner for $1 each at a discount store. I didn't have a job at the time so this was a good deal! Or so I thought anyway. I honestly think this was the worst shampoo/conditioner I have ever used. I could barely comb through my hair after. I have fine blond hair. It looked frizzy and gross when it was dry. It was more difficult to try and style and manage. I kept using it since I was so poor and kind of thought I was just having a bad hair phase. Eventually I decided enough is enough and I got some h2o+ shampoo/conditioner and it literally transformed my hair!

Loose Powders -Guerlain - Meteorites powder for the face in White Pearls 00 LE

I got my pearls on ebay for about $40 so that was a pretty good deal. My older cousin had these pearls when I was younger and I remember loving the smell and the way they looked. Years later I sampled a Guerlain perfume and it smelled just like the pearls and I realized I needed to have them! They smells so good! It is definately my favorite part of my make up routine. I love the little package they are in too, very pretty! The pearls really even out my skin tone. It almost seems like it could be glittery, but it's not. It makes your skin glow, I love them!!!

Cleansers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads

I am very pleased with this face cleanser. I love the smell. It gives you a nice rich lather. I put a little water on the pad and rub it in my hands to get the lather going. I use them in the morning during my shower. I like to use them on my neck and shoulders as well. My skin is so soft and smooth after I use them. It does a fantastic job at exfoliating. I don't forsee my self stopping using these ever. I look forward to this part of my routine. I feel like my skin is as fresh as possible after using them. I am always surprised at the dirt on them even though I washed my face the night before. They are sort of pricey, but I cut some of them in half to extend them. I don't really like them to be that small though because they are more difficult to hold and keep control of while trying to wash your face, but it works.

Masks -H20 - Hydrating Marine Moisture Mask

I am surprised by all the negative reviews! I really like this mask. I actually have been putting a thin layer of it on before bed and just leaving it on while I sleep. My skin is softer and the blackheads and acne I had is gone! I don't have really bad acne or blackheads, just had a little bit on my chin/jawline. My skin is looking pretty good all around after using this and I haven't changed anything else. I like that it is easy to open, however there is some of the product left on the cap on the outside which is a little irritating, but not a big deal really. I got it for 7.99 at TJMaxx so that is a very good price. I actually think it smells kinda good. I also like the color of the product and the tube. I think the mask is incredibly smooth, and is lighter than I expected which I also like. It doesn't make my skin red or burn like other people said it did to them. However, I also use H2o's Marine Daily Hydrator which doesn't burn but occasionally makes my skin temporarily red but goes away after about 10 minutes. For some reason it doesn't seem to do it every time I put it on,,,,strange!
