Such a great shampoo. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday if your hair is colored/dry/damaged, due to the fact that it has keratin in it. If you're hair is in any of the conditions listed above, it's important that you balance protein and moisture, or else you will just dry your hair out. Think about it, protein is meant to strengthen, but if you do nothing but strengthen without adding back moisture, then your hair will become brittle and break off. Alternate this with a moisturizing shampoo, and it will yield fantastic results! It smells amazing, lathers nicely, rinses clean, and preps your hair for conditioner. GO PM!
I've used this cleanser on and off since my teenage years. If you're using prescription products for acne/skin conditions, have sensitive skin, or simply want a no-frills effective cleanser, I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It's cheap, removes ALL makeup (even eye makeup), is gentle, and has a slight fragrance to it. For those of you who have tried Cetaphil and despised it (like I did) give this one a try! The only downside is if you store it in the shower, water will get into the bottle/product. All in all, it just can't be beat for a cleanser!!!
I've NEVER been a fan of primers or bought into the whole hype of them, BUT this has definitely changed my mind. I got the sample size as a point perk from Sephora. It has some amazing ingredients in it, first of all. Retinol, which is GREAT for the skin, and other vitamins as well. It really does help to smooth the overall texture of the skin, and I feel it helps my makeup go on smoothly and last longer. I am thinking of purchasing the full size once I run out of this one :)
I really LOVE this mascara, but I took off a lippie because one coat simply doesn't do it for me. My lashes are naturally long, but light in color, so the black helps them stand out. I really like more volumizing mascaras since my lashes are already long, but for someone with shorter lashes, this would be outstanding! It lasts a really long time too. Just remember not to pump your mascara, as it adds air into the tube and dries the product out ladies!
Another Josie Maran product that I WANTED to love, but not so much! It goes on white, a little goes a long way. But it's just wayyyyyy too difficult to spread and offers very little coverage. People who like tinted moisturizers/sheer coverage and a dewy finish may really enjoy this product. But if you have combo/oily skin, I'd say it's a DON'T!
Cleansers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan Cleansing Oil

Soooo, I really wanted to try the cleansing oil route, as it seemed to make sense being that your skin is made up of oils. I used exactly as directed, on a dry face with dry hands. It DID remove makeup, etc... HOWEVER, the smell/taste were disgusting and it left my skin dry and tight. I wasn't pleased whatsoever, and immediately returned the product. Needless to say, I won't be trying any cleansing oils again anytime soon. Also, the fact that you must use dry face/hands makes it very inconvenient to use in the shower. Therefore, I suggest if you're going to purchase this product, that you also purchase a separate cleanser to use in the bath/shower.
Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

Just another great product from MAC! Since I'm in my late twenties, I find that my skin is becoming dull and a little dehydrated/lackluster. This, on top of Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, brings back the glow to my skin. I apply it all-over my face, but it would definitely make a great highlighter as well. The Soft and Gentle color is pretty translucent and I'm very fair, so it won't make you look orange or anything like that. I used a Too Faced kabuki brush with it, and it applies flawlessly. It is a little pricey, but I'm sure it will last a long time.
I loooove this mascara, though it does get a bit of product on my lids when applying. The black is amazing and it adds so much length and volume. People always ask me what mascara I'm wearing, and it's this! The price is so reasonable. Why not buy this when it's only a few dollars more than most drugstore brands? HG!
Oh MAC, how I love your products! This foundation gives the perfect finish, coverage, and it even has SPF for protection. It doesn't maximize imperfections, but it does do a great job at minimizing them! Doesn't settle into lines or creases, and it does last all day. It's a little pricey compared to drugstore brands, but much cheaper than a lot of products at the cosmetic counters of other brands. Downside, no pump. But you can purchase one at MAC for an additional $8.00. Bonus: There's a color for everyone, and you can always mix colors if you don't find a shade that is an exact match.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
BrittGlass32510 12/29/2012 1:32:00 PM
This is hands-down the best eyeliner on the planet! I've gotta say, if you're a natural make-up look kinda girl, this might not be for you. But if you like sexy, bold lined eyes, you will looooove this! The only downside is that you do have to buy a separate brush to put it on with, I recommend the angled brush they sell at MAC. The staying power of this liner is phenomenal, it never streaks or smudges or wears off. It is somewhat difficult to remove, but definitely worth it since it stays on so well. Bonus: it leaves a little trace of liner the next day, so you may not have to apply liner if you want a natural look. It's great for creating cat eyes as well! HG product!
Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Length Fiber Extensions
BrittGlass32510 12/29/2012 1:27:00 PM
Maybelline is, IMO, one of the best drugstore brands available. This mascara is one of my favorites. It adds amazing length with just a few coats, doesn't smudge and doesn't flake. My mom loved my lashes so much that she converted from her all-time favorite Lancome mascara to this! It rocks and I promise with a little work, you won't be disappointed.
Styling Products -Kenra - platinum silkening gloss
BrittGlass32510 12/29/2012 1:24:00 PM
I can't say enough great things about Kenra in general. This is one of my must-have products. No matter what damage I do to my hair (bleaching, color removal, coloring, etc) this always seems to undo the damage and make my hair super soft and shiny. The packaging is appealing and also dispenses the perfect amount of product. Bonus: Can be used on skin as well to moisturize. Oh yeah, and it smells awesome too!! :)
Foundations -Mary Kay - TimeWise Luminous-Wear Liquid Foundation
BrittGlass32510 12/29/2012 1:21:00 PM
Ugh, I was expecting something great, but must say this might be one of THE WORST foundations ever!! I have friends who love MK brand, so occasionally I will give things a try, but I think I'm finally finished with giving the benefit of the doubt. The product makes my skin greasy, not luminous at all. It makes my pores appear larger, and exacerbates fine lines and imperfections. YUCK!
Ahhhmazing product! Smells wonderful, makes my skin super soft and smooth. Total spa experience with this one!! I'm not sure if it's LE or not, but I will definitely be buying this again and I hope I don't run out anytime soon! :)
