This was my first ever Essie polish. I usually buy OPI but I wanted a colour that was almost white and I when I saw this I had to have it! This has become my absoulte favourite polish (and I have a lot). The colour is beautiful, it goes with everything and I think it would flatter any skintone. When I was in the shop about to buy this I did a quick check of the reviews on MUA and almost didn't get it because of all the bad comments about the formula. I think maybe there are 2 versions of this? I was expecting to have to do a few coats of this because it's pale. I was surprised that I only needed 2 coats and I had no issues at all with the formula. I found the 1st coat streaky but the 2nd evened everything out. Overall, a great polish and I will definitely repurchase!

Polishes -OPI - Live And Let Die

I'm a huge OPI fan and loved most of the Bond Collection. I bought a few of my favourites from the collection when they first came out. When I read the blog reviews, this colour seemed to be a favourtie for most bloggers. It didn't really appeal to me, I have Here Today Arragon Tomorrow and felt this was similar (apart from the shimmer). However, when my friend bought me this I was pleased as I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Unfortunately I just don't feel it lives up to the hype. I've worn it twice now and I just don't like it much. I think the shimmer looks amazing in the bottle but this doesn't translate onto the nail at all. I'm wearing it now and I just think it looks really dull. The formula is great though, I will say that much. I can;t believe a reviewer below used 3 coats to get in opaque! It was def a one coater for me. Overall, it's not a bad polish, it's just not as great as it's made out to be and if you don't have it you're not missing out, especially if you have other dark green polishes like me.

Polishes -OPI - Ate Berries in the Canaries

I first saw this colour when my beautician was wearing it months ago. I asked her the name and have been looking for my own bottle ever since. I read the reviews on Makeupalley and knew that I had to have it. This is probably my favourite nail polish for a number of reasons. The formula is so good, I love OPI but this is definitely better than formulas of other polishes I have by them. You could probably get away with one coat but I always do 2. The colour is a mix between pink and purple. It looks more pink and the light and more purple in the shade. I wear this colour all year around. When I first got it I thought it would only be a spring/summer colour but as other reviewers have said, it's bright but also deep so I think it looks good even in winter. Finally the wear time is amazing. I've had this polish on for 5 days and only have one tiny chip! A must have!
