This is a cleanser and makeup remover and it's just amazing! I got it on bestbbcreams.co.uk because I thought I could give it a try. I had trouble finding a makeup remover that could effectively get rid of everything off my face especially since I use water-resistant/waterproof makeup and mascara. I tried Bioderma's famous Créaline cleanser but I always went through loads of product and cotton pads to remove my makeup, but with the Pure Deep Cleansing Oil I only use 1-2 pumps and massage it gently and thoroughly into my face before washing it off and ... it gets rid of EVERYTHING!!!! It's amazing. I have never used a makeup remover that was able to remove my makeup so easily. Best part about this product it contains natural ingredients: Olive Oil (20%), Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil and Annatto Seed Oil gently cleanse the skin’s surface. The vitamins and minerals in the Cleansing Oil help to restore the skin’s moisture barrier and will improve the skin’s condition over time. and it's free from: - Mineral Oil Free - Silicone Free - Paraben Free - Benzophenone Free - Alcohol Free - Artificial Perfume Free - Artificial Colouring Free I was worried that since it is a cleansing oil that it could break me out but I feel that it has conditioned and improved my skin. This product gets a big thumbs up and I think I have found my holy grail cleanser with this.

Moisturizers -Weleda - Skin Food
rated 1 of 5

This product is awful! I bought it because my skin gets very dry over winter and it doesn't help that I live in Scotland where it gets quite cold and windy making everything even worse. After having tried out lots and lots of different moisturisers but still not having been able to find the right one for my skin I decided to buy the Weleda Skin Food since it had amazing reviews. The product comes in a tin tube, which is ok (the only problem with tin tubes in my experience after a while it starts cracking and it ends up leaking everywhere). The consistency of the cream is terrible. It's very heavy and sticky and it also feels oily in my opinion. When I apply it my skin isn't able to absorb it properly and it leaves my skin sticky and shiny, which makes it impossible to wear make up on top of it. So I used it as a night cream but it has not made any difference to my skin whatsoever. On top of that this cream has a very weird and unpleasant smell. It kinda smells like herbs and smoked bacon I think. I'm very disappointed and it was a complete waste of my money. You're better off using Vaseline. I've managed to improve my skin by using Leaders Insolution Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Masks. It definitely helped to rescue my skin.

Masks -LUSH - Oatfix
rated 4 of 5

I bought this because my skin is sensitive and dry during winter and I was looking for a natural product/mask that would help reduce my dryness and redness. First of all what I like about this product is that it is freshly made, using natural ingredients. It also smells great and leaves my skin feeling soft. But the downside is that because it is a freshly made product you should ideally use it within 10 days after opening and it needs to be kept in the fridge. It wouldn't be a big deal keeping it in the fridge but I feel that applying a cold mask on my face isn't as effective because my pores instantly close up and therefore not absorbing the nutrients as much (maybe it's just my perception). It also hasn't really helped to reduce the redness of my skin. I'm not too sure if I would buy this product again but I will keep the packaging because if I collect 5 empty containers (and I intent to buy their other masks) I can get a free mask from Lush, which I think is a brilliant idea.

Cleansers -Shiseido - The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam
rated 3 of 5

I went shopping and the Shiseido stand caught my attention because they were doing a little skin scan for customers that would help you identify your skin type and find the right products for it. So as the skinfanatic that I am I sat down and got my skin tested and the woman told me that I had dry skin (as if I didn't already know). Anyways, she told me to try out The Skincare range by Shiseido and recommended the Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam and the Hydro-Nourishing Softener (and another product which however I didn't buy). So I bought these two items hoping that they would be my holy grail (after all I spent around £50 which is about $100). The Hydro-Nourishing Softener did nothing for me but the Cleansing Foam was quite good and left my skin feeling squeaky clean and soft. You only need a pea sized amount and you'll still get a lot of foam out of it and the product will last you 2-3months if you ration it carefully. The reason why I'm giving it only 3 and not 4 stars is because even though it's a good face wash it is just too expensive and I'm sure that there are cheaper options out there that are just as good.

You're supposed to use a cotton pad and gently wipe it over the face before applying your moisturiser on and it would help absorb it better. For me it did nothing. It's a waste of money and not worth it at all.

Treatments (Eye) -Promaxyl - Eyelash Renewal serum Rapidlash
rated 3 of 5
BriddaBella 2/23/2013 8:14:00 PM

I have short and straight oriental Asian eyelashes so I decided to buy this product. It is really expensive but I thought it's worth the longer eyelashes. The product comes in a tube with a brush tip and you have to use it every night before going to bed. I have used it for 2 months and I have noticed a slight difference but I don't think anyone else but me would notice it. What I don't like is that the result is not permanent so you have to keep using this product if you want your eyelashes to remain long and over the long-run I find it not only expensive but also annoying to use because you have to use it EVERY night. I wouldn't bu this product again but if you are willing spend the money and use it regularly and religiously then I'm sure you'll get your money's worth.

Conditioner -Aveda - Smooth Infusion
rated 1 of 5
BriddaBella 2/23/2013 4:07:00 PM

I bought this product after I went to the hairdressers and she (apparently) used this shampoo and was just so soft and looked super shiny like in the Pantene adverts. I was so amazed by the results that I bought the shampoo and the conditioner there and then. The ingredients are supposed to be natural and eco-friendly which I used as an excuse to myself to justify the extortionate price. When I used this at home it didn't do anything. My hair looked dull as always and the conditioner seemed to weigh my hair down and even make it go greasier a lot faster than usual. It's not worth it especially for that price. If you want smooth and shiny hair I would try out L'oreal's Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shampoo and Conditioner for only a fraction of the cost.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid

I would give this product maybe a 3.5. I bought it expecting that it would magically help my dry skin and get rid of the redness. Unfortunately it didn't but it is still a decent moisturiser. It's a watery clear liquid and the consistency of it is a bit strange since it feels a little slimy in my opinion but that doesn't bother me too much. What I also like about it is that it is fragrance, colorant and mineral oil free, which makes it perfectly suitable for sensitive skin. It moisturises my skin leaving it look like it's naturally hydrated but unfortunately that's just not enough for my skin during winter as it will get dry again quite quickly again in the cold. However my skin does feel softer after using it. I guess I have to try out this product again when it's warmer and when my skin is less irritated by the cold and I will update my review. I recommend this product for those you have already good skin or only have minor dryness issues.

Moisturizers -Eucerin - AQUAporin ACTIVE Moisturising Cream SPF 15+
rated 4 of 5
BriddaBella 2/22/2013 10:02:00 PM

I have combination skin and the cold weather just accentuates and worsens my dry areas, which is really annoying because my skin still gets really oily but dry at the same time. What I like about this product is that it moisturises my skin without leaving my skin greasy and it absorbs quite well and quickly so I use it to prime my face before putting on foundation. I was actually hoping that it would improve my skin since I do have redness and dry patches and even though it has helped with the dryness I still have redness left on my skin. I recommend this product if you are looking for something that leaves your face look moisturised or if you want a moisturiser to prime your face for your foundation.

I recommend this product but if you can't get hold of it a great if not better alternative (since is has sun protection) might be Eucerin AQUAporin Active Moisturising Cream with SPF 15

Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo
rated 4 of 5
BriddaBella 2/22/2013 7:00:00 PM

I got the Blush dry shampoo as a free promotional gift. I had never bought dry shampoo before but since I got it for free in a small handy sample size I took it with me the last time I traveled and it's a great product. After a long journey I felt that my hair was a little greasy so before going out I used it. My hair felt fresh and clean afterwards(obviously nothing can replace a proper shower but it came pretty close) and it didn't weight my hair down in any way. I also love the floral smell. The only downside is that the dry shampoo is a white powder and if you have dark hair like me it might leave a fine white residue (almost like flour) on your hair. So for those with darker hair, you have to be a bit more light-handed with the use. They do however have a dry shampoo for dark and deep brown hair with a hint of colour, which I'm going to purchase. I definitely recommend this dry shampoo! It's affordable and great for traveling! UPDATE: So I tried out the new one for dark and deep brown hair and it's great! It smells good and works beautifully. The only thing I would be careful about is not to get the product on your clothes because it'll leave brown marks.

Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Foundation
rated 4 of 5
BriddaBella 2/11/2013 1:26:00 AM

First of all I have to make it clear that I have been using the Revlon Colorstay for the past 5 years and I have only tried 4-5 other foundations but I have always gone back to Revlon in the end because I just love the colour range and the staying power. Having said that I heard a lot of great reviews about this foundation so I decided to buy the colours 52 and 53. The foundation is great. It lasts for a long time (since I have oily skin I knew that it wouldn't last the 16h it promised but 7-8 hours is still good enough for me) 52 matches my winter skin perfectly whereas with the Revlon foundation I need to mix Sand Beige with a darker shade to match my skin tone. It also blends really nicely and doesn't feel heavy on your face. The coverage is buildable and you get medium to full coverage giving me a dewy finish. What I don't like about this foundation is the smell but it doesn't bother me too much. Another downside is that it is a little drying because even though I have oily skin during winter time I get dry patches and the foundation settles into the dry parts of my skin so I need to make sure that I pay attention to moisturise my skin properly before applying this foundation. Overall I am very pleased with the foundation and I recommend it.

Masks -LUSH - BB Seaweed Face Mask
rated 4 of 5
BriddaBella 2/3/2013 1:15:00 AM

This mask is supposed to soften, soothe and moisturise your skin while reducing redness. It is a good mask because my skin does feel noticeably softer but in terms of redness I don't know if it has done much. Nevertheless it is a good mask and it is not too expensive either. What I like about is that it is freshly made and it should be used ideally withing 2 weeks because it is preservative free. What it don't like too much about this mask is that it is a little chunky and bits and pieces can fall off your face while you're applying it. I'm not too keen on the smell but it doesn't bother me too much. It also needs to be stored in the fridge or it will go bad. I might buy this mask again but I will probably try the other ones out that Lush has to offer to see if I like them better.

Fragrances -Lacoste - Touch of Pink EDT
rated 4 of 5
BriddaBella 1/30/2013 1:58:00 PM

I love this fragrance. It is a girly and flirty yet sporty type of floral smell which I think is great for girls/women between the ages 13-25. The smell doesn't stay for that long (5-6 hours) but as it fades it the notes slightly change but leaving a subtle floral hint on you. Heart Notes: Jasmine, Violet, Carrot Seed Oil Top Notes: Orange, Cardamom, Coriander Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla
