I used this in my late 20's for the hereditary eye bags that I developed (showed up in my late 20's). I used every cream, potion, eye mask, and nothing got rid of the bags. I had lower bleph when I turned 30 and it was the best thing I've done. Since then, I've been using the eye cream and the gel is great. It does tighten the upper eyelid. The cream sinks in nicely. I wish I could buy the gel alone though, its my favorite.
Cleansers -RoC - Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Disc [DISCONTINUED]

I like these better than the Neutrogena pads. They are more textured and do a better job getting the dead skin. Edited: sadly these have been discontinued :(
Gels/Soaps -Sephora - Vanilla Cupcake Bath & Shower Bubbles
Brandyc 1/19/2009 1:25:00 AM
Got it for my bday, too. Aquarius's rock. NO way can I use shower gel that smells like a cupcake. I want a big red velvet cupcake now and I'm on a low carb diet. What a tease.
I have to call these socks out. I used a gift card and not even my own money, and I'm still upset. I put on shea butter cream that I have and wore them for at least 4 hours last night. I finally peeled them off because they get hot and sweaty. I touched my feet this morning hoping to find what other people are bragging about... and my feet felt worse than when I put on vaseline and white cotton socks! Save your money, this is a joke.
Mascara -Tarte - Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara

The salesgirl sold me the wrong one.... the waterproof is horrible. It's not as black, or as plumping. It's no better than the drugstore stuff. what a sad mascara. The original is fabulous.
The best mascara that I have found. It does clump if you go overboard. MUCH better than the waterproof version.
Great brush, blends wonderfully. I've had several for several years...
Great dark red. Not too dark, and not bright... perfect fall/winter red. love it.
Great stuff, exfoliates wonderfully. I've never had professional microdermabrasion, but this is wonderful. If you find this too expensive, you might want to try Pernox scrub (Rite Aid) it is lemony as well, and is 20 a tube. I tried it years ago. It was really good too, the texture is not as fine, but it's good.
It's a very nice natural color. I don't like makeup that you can see. I'm fair and just a little on a natural brush, looks natural. I would not use a synethetic brush as they hold too much blush. The skunk brushes are for foundation. Synthetic brushes are only good for foundation and concealer.
Treatments -Alpha Hydrox - AHA Souffle 12 percent Glycolic AHA

This has been my HG for years. It's great... leaves my skin nice and soft, and acne free. It fades disclorations, however it stings badly at times (especially after a microderm pad). Like the last reviewer, I don't use a moisturizer... I found that when I did, I broke out... even though I have combo skin and get dry in areas, I still broke out. But with this alone, I don't. It's hard to find in some areas, but you can order from their website or drugstore.com it's a great product for cheap. Edited to add: after I read all the concerns about the cleanliness of the jar, I emailed customer service. I just said, a lot of people love this product but minus the jar, and recommended the souffle be packaged in a tube. I was shocked that the response (below) was a bit know it all and smart. Interesting since so many great skin care products come in jars. I don't know about you but I know for me personally that my hands are pristine clean before I touch my face with anything. However, for those who really are concerned, we do have a wonderful 8% AHA Exfoliating Cream in a tube (see below).
Foundations -SKII - Air Touch Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

This is fantastic *if* you have great skin. If you don't, save your money. It's great because you don't look like your wearing makeup. However, this will NOT cover any imperfections. You can use more, it won't conceal, and it will only make you look like your wearing makeup. As others have said, you must use concealer first. If you use concealer, and your regular foundation, you can use this as a finishing spray... but then you can tell your wearing makeup. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of this product??! If you have gorgeous skin (I don't know why you'd use makeup) but try this out for a nice glow, if your skin is anything less than perfect, you need more coverage. I recommend Chanel luminare if you like the dewy finish but need more coverage. Save your money, way too expensive.
Conditioner -Matrix - Biolage Color Care Conditioner
Brandyc 8/17/2007 12:04:00 AM
It works well for me the shampoo dries my hair out in the shower (haven't used it alone) but the conditioner makes my hair really soft
I don't like it. When I use it my hair feels dry in the shower but then when I follow up with the conditioner my hair feels so soft and unbelievably shiny. But, it has to be the conditioner because my hair feels dry after I wash it with this. I'm going to ditch the shampoo and keep the conditioner.
Shave Products -Unlisted Brand - Coochy Shave Cream

I like it for my legs but not bikini area. It gives me bumps and ingrowns Looks just the opposite of sexy when you get a lot of bumps there LOL... and feel compelled to say it's razor burn! and is not as protective as shaving gel (especially mens). For legs, yes. I can't see paying this price though, its expensive and you go through it quick to cover the area well.
