This is my secret to healthy, strong, soft and shiny hair. My hair used to be very damaged because I would straighten it everyday. My hairdresser noticed and recommended this and I could feel a difference in my hair instantly. You can use this on dry or wet hair. I put a little bit before I blow dry my hair (to protect my ends) and after it's dry (to smooth down any frizz I might have). I recommend using this just on your ends and only using a little. If you take it too far up it can make your scalp appear oily. This product has so many benefits. If you have frizzy hair, apply this when your hair is dry and the frizz will disappear. If your hair is rough in texture, this will make it soft and smooth. If you have split ends, this will help mend them and prevent any future damage. It acts as a heat protectant as well and I love the smell. It smells a bit like men's cologne but I really like it. Only problem is it's expensive. I usually get the biggest bottle (12 fl oz for $40 or 2 fl oz for $14 or 6 fl oz for $25) and it lasts me about 2 years. If you buy from amazon you can get it for about $10-15 cheaper. Sometimes TJ Maxx and Ross will have it for half the price! I've been able to find the 40 fl oz bottle for only $20! You can get it at a good price just be resourceful and do some research! Regardless of price I think it's well worth it because this product is 5 in one. It will replace your frizz serum, split end mender, leave in conditioner, shine spray, and heat protectant. This is the only product you need! I highly recommend it!!!
Self Tanners -Fake Bake - flawless self tan liquid
BosnianGirlxo 9/1/2012 11:10:00 PM
This is a pretty good self tanner. Not great but it's much better than most of the lotion formulas. The reason why I like this is mainly because of the applicator. It comes with a mitt that blends the color perfectly. It also comes in a spray form which is another reason why it's so easy to apply. Unfortunately, after a while the spray stopped working and was leaking product from the top. Also, I found that the color did have a bit of an orange tint. What disappointed me the most was that it didn't last as long as the box said it would. I had to apply it 2 to 3 times a week to keep my tan (even though the box said only once a week). If you moisturize it will last longer. If you don't, it will end up rubbing off and looking patchy. The smell at first is pleasant. It smells very tropical and a bit like coconut. However, after a while you will get that self tanner smell. It's not as bad as others but it will linger on your clothes and your sheets as well. The color guard also comes off on white clothes so be careful. Overall, it's good but there is better out there. I would definitely recommend Million Dollar Tan over this so be sure to check that out before you buy this!
My brows are very light and sparse and this pencil does wonders for me. Its very fine so you can use short strokes to mimic the appearance of brow hair in order make it look more natural and less drawn on. The color is absolutely perfect. I always had a problem with brow pencils being too reddish brown. I needed something more ashy and this is just what I needed. The formula is great. This pencil is very long wearing on my oily skin. My eyebrows stay put all day even when it rains. It's $20 but to me the color match and the staying power is well worth it. (note: I have this in medium ash)
Although this is suppose to be a bronzer it's really more of a highlighter. It's a very beautiful golden/champagne color and I especially love it because it's not glittery or too shimmery. It's more of a satin finish so it looks very natural on the skin. It's also buildable so you can add more product to intensify the highlight or just swipe it once for a more natural glow. It's about $10 at Walmart and you get tons of product. I highly recommend this!
This is a holy-grail bronzer. Bronzers have always been a problem for me, because it's impossible to find one that's matte and they're all either too shimmery or too orange. This is a true brown. There is no orange tint to this. When swatching this next to other bronzers there's nothing that comes close. Some people are scared off by how dark and pigmented it is, but trust me anybody can wear it. I use it all year round even in the winter when I'm NC20. Just use a light hand. Only problem is it's $29. However, it's so incredibly pigmented that you only need a little bit so one pan can last a long time. I've had mine for a year and use it everyday and I still haven't even made a dent. I absolutely love this bronzer and highly recommend it. This is one of the products I'd cry over if it ever got discontinued.
Blush -Too Faced - Cocoa Rose Full Blooom Powder Blush
BosnianGirlxo 9/1/2012 2:37:00 AM
This is such a beautiful color. The name describes it perfectly. It's a matte dusty rose/mauve color and looks very natural on the skin. Even though it's natural it still gives you the perfect amount of color and blush to your cheeks. It's not too pink or too brown. It's perfect! I've had mine for about a year and still haven't hit pan. It's also very long wearing. Only downside is it's a little pricey ($19) but one pan lasts a long time so it's definitely worth it.
This stuff is no joke. It's super pigmented and you only need a small dot for both eyes. You barely need any product so one tube of this will last you a long time (I'm talking years). In the past I've always had high end concealers but they would always crease on me. This is the only one I've come across that doesn't settle in my fine lines. The downside is they only have 3 shades. I use light in the winter when I'm around NC20 and medium in the summer when I'm NC 30. It covers the darkness under my eye and really brightens the entire area. It's also pigmented enough to cover blemishes. Overall this is an incredible concealer I really recommend it and at $6 you can't go wrong.
Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic eye liner pencil -black
BosnianGirlxo 9/1/2012 2:11:00 AM
This is a great pencil liner. Its super pigmented and its a good price ($6 at Walgreens I believe). It's very easy to apply because it's so creamy. Usually creamy products tend to wear and smudge easily but this stuff does not move once it dries. It stays on my waterline which is something I've always had an issue with. Comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 liners for just a fraction of the price. Just wish it came in more colors. Overall this is a great liner. I would definitely recommend it.
This is the best liquid eyeliner I've ever come across. It lasts all day and then some. Product tends to disappear on in my inner corner but this stays put all day. It's very pigmented and goes on easily. It's not one of those liquid liners that will look streaky or wipe off product every time you swipe it across your lash line. The applicator is great. It's a felt tip so it's easy to control and you can get different sized lines depending on how hard you press. It's much better than the physician's formula eye booster liner as well as the maybelline eye stiletto and L'Oreal lineur intense. I would definitely recommend this !
I LOVE THIS STUFF! and that's saying a lot considering the fact that I'm very hard to please when it comes to my skin. My t-zone is oily and my cheeks are normal but my skin tends to look very dull and flakey so I need something that will scrub away the dullness and clean the oil off my face without drying it out. That's a pretty tall order, but this scrub does it all. It does have exfoliating beads, but they're gentle enough to use every day and it does a good job at scrubbing away all the dead skin. This will also clean all the makeup and oil off your face without drying it out. I absolutely love it. The smell is delicious. It reminds me of an orange creamsicle. The consistency is nice. It doesn't lather up a lot (which is probably the reason why it's not drying) and it won't leave a residue on your face. It's a good price too. You can find it for around $4-5 at walmart. I will definitely repurchase!
Cleansers -Biore - Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser
BosnianGirlxo 2/28/2012 3:55:00 PM
My skin is oily in the t-zone and normal around cheeks. I bought this cleanser because my other one was drying out my skin. Unfortunately, this product doesn't do what it says it will. It dried out my face just as much as my other cleanser did. Honestly, my face didn't even feel clean just dry. The smell was okay at first, but after a while it really started to bother me. It smells like a mixture of chemicals and flowers. Not a good combination. The consistency of this is weird as well. It's very thick and gloopy. The only really good thing is that it comes with a pump. That's about it. Overall I wouldn't recommend this and i definitely won't be repurchasing.
