Hey! (ckeck out the full review with pictures out on my blog: http://bornprettyreviews.blogspot.nl/2012/10/bornprettystorecom-review-stamp-scraper.html ) So I was super excited for this to arrive because I've wanted a double sided stamper for soooooo long now. It's always so tricky to get the smaller stamps on right.. The packaging was kind of basic though but who cares, you won't keep it there forever anyway! BUT I failed. Well, it went allright with the larger side but when it came to the skulls, evey single one of them failed. Not sure if this is because of the stamper or if it's just me haha. The stamper just worked, nothing special there. I cut them to the right length (1,7 cm) and filed them in the shape I wanted them to be. But when I decided to try them on my birthday, the excitement faded. A lot. (Fear not, it has a happy ending) You could totally see that it wasn’t natural and the tips were kind of lying on my natural nails. So I clearly wasn’t very happy as this was a cute design and they were perfect for my birthday outfit (the colours). I didn’t know why this wasn’t working for me so I went and got another one, that I had painted black. This came out a lot better! It actually looked like a natural nail, and felt VERY comfortable. I don’t know what I did wrong, maybe I picked the wrong sizes or something but that doesn’t really matter seeing it worked out well! You really can do a lot with these brushes and I’m going to show a design that I came up with. You can come up with ideas for yourself or look on the internet (personally, I think that Very Emily has something for everybody)! I made clouds in the sky on my index finger, middle finger and little finger. On my ring finger and thumb I also have a rainbow. I made the clouds with dotting tools (also from bornprettystore) and the rainbows with the brushes. The colour of the sky is am I blue or green from Catrice, and for the clouds I used Snow Motion! also from Catrice. For the rainbow I used -from top to bottom- NYC Lexington Yellow, NYC High Line Green, Catrice Blue Cara Ciao, Essence Nameless & Catrice Colour Bomb. I used brush #000. The brushes are really good quality and very, very cheap! Did I mention that bornprettystore.com has FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE? I also have a 5% off coupon code for you guys; LYKEW21.
