BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

I'm technically a light/medium in this brand, but I bought this in medium. This is not a bb cream technically, it's a tinted moisturizer so I bought it with the purpose of only covering my blemishes. On my nose I have red scars and scabs. The thing with scars and scabs is that they are darker and redder than your natural skin color. With the medium tint I apply it to my nose and because this maybelline's bb cream has a pink tint also, it hides almost all off the blemishes on my nose(which is something my stila bb failed to do). You may view the pink tint as a bad thing but the pink tint in the medium tone darker than my skin matched with the dark and red acne scars/scabs which is something that would have not worked well if I had went with my actual skin shade (light/medium in the maybelline bb cream).I wouldn't use this for the face though because it is kind of drying it brings out you skin lines or wrinkles and I didn't buy a color that matched my face tone. For my face I would just stick with my stila bb. I give this product a 4 for covering my blemishes but as a bb cream I would give it like a 2. Like I said before this should not be considered a bb cream or a moisturizer.

Lips -New York Color - Smooch Proof Lip Stain

My problem with marker lip stains is that I can never get the same amount of color to absorb into my lips. So my lips were never the same shade. I bought this in champaign. That color is gorgeous and it smells delicious but it was just really drying and because the color wouldn't even out on my lips only my bottom lips would retain the color so basically last year I walked around with a redder bottom lip... It's very pigmented and the thing with markers is that you can't smooth the color out so it could spread more lightly. That's why I switched from drugstore brands to $20-30 liquid stains. I found stila in cherry crush which is a similar color to the champaign and because its a gel it's possible to spread the color out before it sets and it applies more evenly.

I was trying to choose cherry vs the raspberry at the store and I ended up getting cherry because everyone told me it was prettier than the raspberry. There is a lot of color in this stain so I just dab a little on and spread it quickly with something else. The cherry is darker than the raspberry and there is something about the color that just pulls you in. I don't know what it is about the color but its mesmerizing. The only reason I would choose raspberry over cherry is because of the smell. The raspberry smells so good. The cherry smells okay but it's got that kind of bitter wine smell but it still tastes good. The color doesn't last very well especially after eating or drinking and I had very swollen lips today so the color wouldn't absorb the same in certain areas, so my lips were striped...It also sets really fast so if you want to spread the color you have to do it fast. Even after wiping and washing it off it still leaves behind a stain. I'm hoping they'll come out with new colors so I could just smell all the flavored lol.

BB Cream -Stila - Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm

This is my first BB cream and I was very glad I bought it. Before I used Laura mercier's tinted moisturizer along with their secret camouflage concealer. I had some scabs on my nose and no matter how much of Laura mercier's concealer I put on, they could still be seen and the concealer would also make them flake off. The stila bb cream covers up most of the scabs on my nose a lot better that the mercier's camouflage concealer, but it still brings out the flakes. So in combination with mercier's tinted moisturizer( it's darker than the bb cream and because its not matte it doesn't peel and shields the scab) I put the bb cream over the mercier tinted moisturizer and it makes my scabs less visible and they don't flake as much. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with a lot of peeling skin because it makes the peeling skin more visible. It feels a lot lighter than a foundation obviously. Other than my nose the rest of my face is very clear so I only apply the bb cream to my nose or wherever I have a red blemish. I have really sensitive and peeling skin so I was surprised that it did not irritate my skin like a normal foundation or a fragrance moisturizer would. It only comes in one color and it looks super light. Personally my skin is really light i didnt notice this before, but even though the stila bb cream looks light, the moment it melts in your hand is becomes darker Im really upset bc i have no intention of putting this all over my face to even it out. Sometimes it appears yellow on my skin and sometimes it matches. They claim it fits all skin colors, but I don't know. Asian bb creams usually have a shine, but these are matte so I guess it depends on what the person wants. probably would not buy it again because I would like to try other bb creams out there and hopefully a cheaper alternative.

Squeezing into your hands it smells kind of bad but once you apply it and let it set it smells like yummy chocolate. The scent isn't going to spread far across the room it's just on you. I usually use it for my hands but I put it on my neck once after a while it got kinda itchy, but I'm not sure if its the lotion's fault. They did come out with a hypoallergenic version but it smells completely different.

I got this at Walmart. The design has changed it says its for the face hands and body an it looks different than the picture used now. I use it for my face. I have very sensitive skin that peels every once in a while and Nivea does not irritate my skin. I can apply it even thought my skin is peeling and it does not burn my skin ever! I bought 2 travel that I keep in my backpack and car and 1 container for home. I don't pay attention to the smell but my friend thinks it smells great.

When you first apply jasmine on, because its a light pink color it does give a pale sheer coat. This lip butter does moisturize but if your lips are already peeling and flaking the color only gets caught onto those flakes, making them super visible. I think the packaging is cute but I usually have to go to the restroom and apply it on. I have to use my finger which is kind of gross and sticky and then wash it afterwards so because of that inconvenience I don't use it as often as my stick moisturizers

Lips -Hourglass - Petal Lipstain

This was the first lip stain I had bought and compared to the lip stains I have now I have to say this is the prettiest color. The hourglass lip stain comes in three colors and supposedly this is the lightest. It's the only color from the hourglass lip stain with a GOLD sheer and the only lip stain I have ever seen with a GOLD sheer. With one swatch it looks like a light pink but with multiple swatches it looks red. Why does it look red? The gold sheer mixes with the pink after multiple swatches. once sun or whatever light bounces off the gold it looks orange and creates a red allusion. But it's not a dark red its a pink that looks kind of red. Guys if you're looking for a coral this is the one. If I was getting married I would trust this lip stain. It's a light pink as a cheek stain so that's the downside. and it could really peel your lips so make sure you moisturizer them. I was surprised that its not as popular as the stila or benefit bc 1) it's prettier 2) the price is cheaper than the benefits and about the same as the stilas. I think why it's not as popular is because this lipstain looks best if you wear very little or natural makeup. And it might not be popular because its not a good cheek stain . This can be found at sephora so just go a try it. The first time I tried it I didn't like it so I left and about 2 hours later I looked into a mirror and it look so pretty in the sunlight I had to drive back and find the lady cuz I had no idea what it was, but she was gone. So for about 2 weeks I kept going back to sephora to look for this lady. SO TRY THIS I will be so upset if this gets discontinued, I would probably have to go and buy a lifetime of these! Every time I wear it I always get compliments even from the same people including my own mom.

When you look at it it's a frosty pink and it smells just like watermelon. I've drank guava juice before and I thought it taste like watermelon juice so I wasn't surprised that it smelled like watermelon. The color when I first applied it is no where close to frosty pink its clear on my lips so I was upset. I don't use it anymore.

I saw a girl wear it and it looked absolutely gorgeous so I went and bought one myself. It looks amazing: it makes your lips look plump& glossy. The color looks kinda brown in packaging but its actually nude red. It's a gentle but pigmented nude and it will look great on anyone's lips. The only thing I hate is the stickiness it feels kinda gross but I don't care because it looks amazing. The smell might bother some people, but it doesn't bother me.

I originally bought it for my lips but it makes them red so I use it for my cheeks now. I'm pale so it really brings life to my cheeks. The color is gorgeous. You have to use something to blend it and I use my fingers, so my fingers are always red... It was sort of pricey but worth it i got it for $30. Packaging is cute but you really have to close it tight. I forgot and it leaked around the rims and stained my purse and it seems no matter how tight I close it if I lay it down instead of stand it up, it will spread all over the rims which is very annoying.

The smell is really good I can't tell what it is but it's interesting and it looks so pretty on the lips. It's suppose to be a treatment but it only hydrates it for maybe 15 minutes and it doesn't fix the flakes on my lips. It's very expensive for something that does not hydrate as good as Chapstick. Packaging is cute but very unhygienic if you're gonna dip your fingers in there. I stopped using it and I'm just using Chapstick and maybelline's baby lips.
