Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Cat Eyes Waterproof in feline black

Worst mascara I've ever had. It only comes in waterproof, and I'm generally not a fan of water proof. The little brush thing basically groups your lashes together in an unnatural looking way, usually clumpy and really hard to remove. It took me half an hour to get it off using make up remover! And you can't really separate the clumps either, lash brush or not. Don't buy it. Waste of money and time.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner

So I just randomly tried this one on In a drug store, and it looked great. But then I started noticing a lot of issues with this eyeliner. -The brush that comes with is terrible, sometimes everything just comes out in a huge smudge against my eyelid which ruins my other eye make up and makes my mascara clump. -Since the package is a cone shape, and the brush is totally emerged in liquid, you can't regulate the amount of liner -Any contact with water = smudge. I live in singapore and it's always hot here, meaning sweat. Not good for tropical climates AT ALL. -At least it stays put until you start sweating. -Drying time depends on the amount of eyeliner- if you put a lot don't open your eyes fully until your sure. -Makes a defined line (when successful, that is.)

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow Quad Sultry Smoke
Bluehope 4/7/2011 9:28:00 PM
When I first got this eyeshadow, I was really eager to try it. I really wanted to do a smokey eye, cause my other eyeshadows are more naked sort of tones. This eyeshadow needs a lot of layering. ALOT. It's sheer and the colors aren't as vibrant as they appear on the palette as on the eyelid. After a while they turn dull if you don't use a primer It dusts slightly when layered, which is really annoying. I wouldn't buy this again. The little stick you get with it is no use, doesn't pick up color, and even with my brush I had to do a lot of work before I got it the way I wanted, which rapidly turned dull and monotone.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #190 Foundation Brush
Bluehope 4/7/2011 6:12:00 AM
This brush is a classic foundation brush and I got it in a set for Christmas, so I really don't have an idea of the cost of the brush. It has semi-dense bristles, liquid foundation might get stuck easily in it, so I'd recommend regular washing. I love the size of it-it can get into the smaller areas like under my eyes and round my lips. In the beginning it made me very streaky, but I think this might be mostly due to my own usage of the brush. So it sort of needs some practice to discern how it works best for each individual. I find it better to first use it to disperse the foundation and then tap to prevent streakiness. If I lost I'd definitely buy it again, since it makes my foundation look more natural than if I use fingers.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

When I first tried this primer, I HATED it. All the colors I put on refused to blend and the wand got primer into my eyelashes which would make my mascara clump. One day I walked out in three shades of eyeshadow and when I came back it looked really monotone. The wand made smears above my eyelids which looked like I'd out foundation on half my eyelid and forgot the other. Then I came across a YouTube video saying you could blend the eyeshadow if you put pressing powder on top. This really helped, the smears are still an issue if your not careful, but it stays a lot better (practically all day) and I can finally blend, I use the invisible one, but the very visible smears above my eyeshadow refute this. Im not sure I'd buy this again, it was kinda pricey and I think there's better products out there.

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Liquid Lift Foundation

This is my first foundation, and I'm happy to say it didn't break me out like I'd feared. I used to be thinking potential HG, love the consistency, coverage falls short though. It's smooth but not way too thick, It doesn't feel caky, but then again I don't build it up a lot. I'd recommend building it up in layers, and not using a lot per layer, as it can go blotchy pretty easily. Great longevity, stays on my face all day and is easy to wash off at night. Love the packaging, the pump is a great way to control how much your using. I'm a #9, ivory, and the color fits my face perfectly. They have a great range of colors. If your looking for matte, this isn't the foundation for you. Without setting powder, it's not matte at all, and with it only lasts a while. The coverage is okay, it won't cover my freckles, will cover redness and make your skin even toned. Settles into smile lines though, which is annoying. I'd buy this again, but it's not perfect to the point where I'd stop looking for new foundations.
