This is the ONLY bleach I use. I have naturally dark dark brown hair, and this totally lifted me to a pale blonde in 25 minutes. Plus I don't have breakage or any noticable signs of damage. This is my life-saver <3

Hair Color -Manic Panic - Ultra Violet

NEVER USE THIS ON ORANGE HAIR. Before I knew everything I know now about the color wheel and how hair colors work with others, I used this on bleached orange hair (Born Blonde MAX really isn't good for really dark brown hair ^^;) This is all I have to say: This kinda worked like a toner. The blue hues in it cancelled out the orange while the purple made my hair look really dark blue with grey patches in it. Luckily it faded in a week and a half (I think that has been the happiest I've ever seen hair fade :P). After it completely faded my hair turned a light milky brown color with my roots being still orange. The only reason I gave it a 2 because the color did fade fast (even if I wanted it to).

Hair -Manic Panic - Virgin Snow Toner

My basic knowledge of toners tells me they take out brassiness from blonde hair to make it more ash-toned/whiter. This did NOTHING for me. I've used it on platinum blonde hair and it still left it pretty yellow. This is what I think is why it doesn't work that well: Look at how light it is. Your hair would have to be basically white as it is for it to work. I think if it was a darker purple it would work better. ALSO, it says it's a mixer also, but it doesn't really do a good job at that either. I used it with Ultra Violet to lighten it up and it just made it soup-y and hard to apply, not really anything for the color. I'd say go with a permanent toner like White Lady.

Hair -Beyond The Zone - Color Jamz

I am SOOOOO happy with my results! First off is the price: Manic Panic from Sally's is $8.99 while Color Jamz is $6.29. Second is the quality: I've used MP for a year and it's all faded IN A WEEK. I've had Huckleberry Blue in for a week so far with NO FADING. So, before I used Color Jamz I had white hair for a while and decided to change it up. I've been really wanting that true blue color ever since I started dying my hair but MP's blue colors are either too dark, turquoise (not what I was looking for), or too pastel. I saw Huckleberry Blue and decided to give it a whirl. I put it on my hair twice (the first time I mixed it with conditioner because it looked too dark. BAD IDEA. It turned out a silver-ocean blue color. The 2nd time was the pure product) and got that BEAUTIFUL true blue color I've always wanted. I think for the price and the quality, it's a full 5. I couldn't be happier with this product <3!!!!
