Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

I had a cyst/bad pimple that I messed with and ended up getting a scab. I bought the Smashbox Primer (the original one) and applied it to my face. My makeup looked awesome and the scab was easier to cover. The primer didn't totally smooth the scab over, but it did make it less "textured." My makeup went on much more smoothly. Now the scab is gone and there is a kind of "pit" in my face, where the skin is lower tha the rest of my facial skin. I put the primer on and it smoothed it out. It didnt completely fill it in, but maybe i shouldve used a bit more. Still, I'm not as self conscious. Great stuff. I will keep this in my MU drawer as a must have.

Pressed Powders -Black Opal - Invisible Oil Blocking Powder

YESSS. I love this powder. I used it on top of my Fashion Fair Souffle makeup and I look flawless. I am brown skinned and this powder doesn't make me look ashy and doesn't clog pores. Great job, Black Opal!

Foundations -Fashion Fair - Perfect Finish- Souffle

I was using MAC in NC50 and it just didn't seem to work. I always had an even yellow tone to my brownish/golden/.reddish skin. I went to the Fashion Fair counter and the MA tested Souffle on me in Brown Sugar and another color (I forgot). Brown Sugar seemed to go well with my golden undertones. I was a Bridesmaid in a wedding on a very HOTTTTT, humid day, and the Souffle really held up well. My blemishes were covered and my face was dewy and smooth. People thought I had a flawless complexion-no one knew I even had on makeup. I used very, very little and I used the foundation brush that FF sells to apply the souffle. So long, MAC, and hello Fashion Fair. I am a very happy camper.

Liquid -MAC - Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation

I generally wear NC 50 in MAC and I was advised to buy Matchmaster in 7.5. After wearing it for a week, I noticed that my face would look very red and oily in certain areas and my dark spots would show by the afternoon. When I spoke to a MAC rep, she said that the matchmaster has red tones in it, which allow it to match a range of people. I wish I'd known this before I bought it. If you have brown skin with yellow undertones, stay away from Matchmaster. Actually, for anyone interested in this product, keep your receipt and pay attention to your face throughout the day. The color will change to suit all tones, so be careful. I'm going back to my studio fix.

Deodorants -Secret - Roll On Deodorant

This deodorant works like a dream. I've been using Dove Invisible Solid for years and it worked well, then suddenly it just quit working. I had b.o. in my late twenties-totally unacceptable. I remembered that my Grandmother used Secret Roll on, and I decided 2 give it a try. Now, I can wear sleeveless or long sleeved shirts on the hottest days of Summer and I'm 100% confident that I smell fresh and clean. I'm so so glad to have switched to Secret. The only not so geat feature is that u have to let it dry before putting on your shirt. That's no problem, though, bec I do my hair and makeup while it dries, then throw on my shirt. I'm a happy (fresh) camper :)

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes

My friend recommended these wipes to me; she gave them such high reviews that I decided I MUST try them. They did work in getting the makeup off my face, which is why I gave them two stars. However, I broke out terribly after using them. My face itched and the next day I had bumps all over. I do have somewhat sensitive skin, but I bought these because I thought they would be gentle. Either they are too strong or they didn't clear the makeup correctly. Either way, I will never use these cleansing wipes again. I hope everyone else had a much better experience, but if you have sensitive skin, stay away.
