Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

When I first got this product, I wasn't at all expecting it to make my eyelashes look false, I was just looking for a mascara with a lot of intensity, which I got with this mascara. However, I had a hard time deciding which black to get, there appeared to be a number of blacks like "black drama, very black, and "blackest black." I just wanted the blackest of all blacks to fulfill my search for intensity, so I got blackest black. I still don't know what the difference between the blacks are, but I will be looking that up after this review. I'm not sure if the slanted spoon wand really helps when applying your mascara, since I never had a problem with wands. But it definatley made my short eyelashes a bit longer and super bold-exactly what I wanted. It kind of holds a curl, just for a while though. I've heard the waterproof ones help with that. What I like most about this mascara is that it makes my eyelashes feel super light and even though its super thick, it feels natural. I will be trying different mascaras later, but I have a feeling I will be coming back to this.

Packaging: Everyone seems to have a problem with the packaging, no-pump thing, but I found a way to avoid that. All I do is shake the bottle like I normally would before opening the bottle, and the product that is left inside the cap is just the amount I need to apply on my face. So I have no problem with that. In fact, I really like the unique packaging. I feel like I can make something cool with the bottle, after I've used up all the product,and washed it out. I also, for some reason, enjoy the sound it makes when I'm opening the cap. It's a non-clogging foundation with SPF 20, which is what I like the most about this product. It's good to wear to school (with only 1 or 2 touchups throughout the day), and an overall great product for a teenager like me. The formula gives a dewy, light weight finish, which I really like. I apply it with a damp sponge. It is superblendable, and finding your shade is super-easy (those find your color transparent pullout thingies aren't accurate at all, so don't use them). Besides the shiniess,It leaves my skin looking supple and fresh.However, if your going wear this foundation, you will need a good powder, otherwise it won't last very long, and you will need something to balance the glowiness. I always top it off with the True Match Compact Powder designed to compliment the liquid foundation, and it looks perfect! Honestly, this liquid foundation is nothing without it's powder. I get that really nice airbrushed finish. The powder itself is amazing, I can see a significant difference from with, and without the powder. It does it's job well. I will be writing a very pleasing review on it later.
