Masks -Paula's Choice - skin recovery hydrating treatment mask
rated 5 of 5

So far I think it is pretty good, I haven't used a mask in years and probably need to because my skin is so dry. In reading how others used it as a "night" cream and just applied it over the top of everything else, I tried it this way but it made those yucky peely things you get when you put on too much product. It probably was because I had on a fresh application of exfoliant. I tried it today as the instructions said, and yes, my face feels a bit more hydrated. So I will continue to use it per instructions (just after cleansing) and even try it as an "overnight treatment".

Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Cleanser
rated 5 of 5

So far I like this cleanser, I think it cleans well without drying. I think it's going to be pricey to keep using, and there are many great cleansers on the market cheaper than this. But I am dedicated to the skin recovery line and will probably use something less expensive for my p.m. makeup removal wash, and this cleanser for my a.m. wash.

Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Concentrate
rated 4 of 5
BitJustGingerly 3/10/2013 8:15:00 PM

I am not overall thrilled with this product, as it comes in a smaller tube and I use more than the "few drops" it recommends as my skin sucks it up the second it touches it. I am not big on this additional step in skin care, I am more of a "just wash & moisturize" girl. I can't say I have seen any immediate results, I need to use it longer.

Toners -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner
rated 5 of 5
BitJustGingerly 3/10/2013 8:11:00 PM

I have avoided toners like the plague because they either have alcohol, fragrance, or coloring in them. This one doesn't... It is a little milky and very soothing going on. It will be tough incorporating this step into my routine, something I haven't done in years, but I intend to keep it up as everyone is always saying how important a toner is.

Sunscreen -Paula's Choice - Skin Recovery Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 & Antioxidants
rated 5 of 5
BitJustGingerly 3/10/2013 8:08:00 PM

I am desperate for a good daily face moisturizer for my dry skin that has non-chemical sunscreen in it, and I think I have found it! It does not feel heavy at all, and does not leave my face shiny. I will get a little whiteness if I don't blend it thoroughly, and in areas hard to blend like the eyebrows and hairline. It can be used around the eyes too!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Cream
rated 4 of 5
BitJustGingerly 12/4/2012 3:20:00 PM

This is the one product I have bought many times, over and over, since I discovered it 15+ years ago. If you are looking for a no frills, non-irritating, and reasonably priced moisturizer that won't make you break out, get this. It can also be bought in a 3 ounce tube, although a little pricier than the big jar, but perfect for travel and your purse.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM
rated 2 of 5
BitJustGingerly 12/4/2012 3:16:00 PM

I really like this lotion, and have bought it about 4 times, but haven't bought it again because the packaging it poor. It has niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides, all good stuff for your skin and a great buy as it is under $20. But I really hate the pump, as it will leave too much product in the bottom and you have to unscrew the pump and make a mess trying to get at the last 1/4" of product. Plus the pump doesn't stay locked in a travel bag and will squirt out all over the place. Otherwise, it's a good product.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - AM SPF 30
rated 3 of 5
BitJustGingerly 12/4/2012 3:09:00 PM

I liked the feel of this lotion - on those days the chemical sunscreens in it didn't irritate my skin. I would be all about this product as it has niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides - all good stuff for your skin and to find all of these in a facial product under $20 is hard. But until they alter the sunscreens in it (or switch to zinc or titanium dioxide) I won't be trying it again. It has too much chemical sunscreen to be just a spf 30.

Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser
rated 4 of 5
BitJustGingerly 12/4/2012 3:00:00 PM

I like this cleanser, as it takes off all of my makeup (I don't wear any long wear or waterproof makeup) without stripping all of the oils out of my very dry skin. However, I don't find it to be any better at cleaning my face than other similar cleansers (such as Cetaphil ). If you like cleansers that have a little something extra in them, then do try it. It has hyaluronic acid and ceramides, both good for your skin.
