Only words to describe this are sexy, strong, and seductive.... PERFECT!!!!
This was given to me as a gift and it is a very lovely scent. I am nearly at the end of my 30ml bottle. It is probably my 3rd/4th go to perfume but it is spot on for when you want something a little stronger and long lasting. I would repurchase but maybe not for a little while as i'm enjoying my other fragrances at the moment :-)
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Professional Size
Bindi7 5/10/2013 6:21:00 AM
This stuff is an absolute godsend. My lids are slightly oily and so my eyeshadow (it doesn't matter if it's powder or even a long lasting formula) always creases after a few hours. Since i have been using this i have had no creases!!!!! Fantastic. You only need a tiny bit so the tube will last for ages - esp for me since i only use eyeshadow about once ot twice a week!!! Thank you Urban Decay for this little life saver :-)
These lip glosses are amazing!!! I can safely say that they are better than many other premium brands i have tried (MAC, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox) and they are soooo CHEAP!!!. I always pick mine up when they are 3 for 2 so you get 3 for something like £14.50. You just can't go wrong. The formula is lovely - not sticky, buildable and very even coverage. It lasts very well too. I have about 4/5 different colours!!! The heart shaped wand applicator is very easy to use and really gets the gloss on your lips very well!! I hate the brsuh type applicators so this applicator is fab. I have repurchased many many times and will continue to do so. i will be lost if these are ever discontinued :-( x
Fantastic little product. If you have issues with your mascars smudging or flaking then you need this. You put it on after your mascara - and you can use ANY mascara - and it will seal your lashes so there is no flaking/smudging and makes them waterproof too. If like me you have a few different mascaras on the go at once, then this is great as it makes them ALL waterproof - you don;t even need to go out and buy a proper waterrpoof mascara!!! This is a staple in my make up bag and always packed for holidays and used for nights out, weddings etc!! Very worth it :-)
I have been using this practically every night for a year. It is amazing stuff and i honestly couldn't live without it. My husband laughs as i love putting this on at night so much - the smell relaxes me!! - and i love how it sinks in to the skin so easily. I purchased my first jar last year when my skin was going through a bit of a bad phase.. it had lost it's 'glow' and was looking dull. I read reviews and did my research - i wanted a night cream for combination/oily skin but for 30 something skin. This seemed like the best option and having used Clarins products in my early twenties i decided to go back... and i'm so glad i did! The cream seems really rich in the jar but it just sinks in to the skin. it is not greasy or heavy at all - and that's exactly what you want when you have oily skin! When you wake up your skin is fresh and smooth and feels lovely. That's why i can't live woithout this... oh and it's given my skin it's glow back ;-) Amazing stuff x
I prefer to use tinted moisturisers/BB creams for daytime wear - at work and day to day wear - so i thought i'd give this a try as it was priced £9.99 and the L'Oreal products were on 3 for 2 mix and match. I don't know ig the fromula has changed, but i purchase the nude magique 5 in 1 skin perfector BB cream - so SPF 12, moisturiser, primer all in one. I bought the medium shade and am olive skin tone - NC35. It is a tad dark for me but will be spot on when i have a bit of a tan. I love this. The formula is lovely and glides on so easy. The other reviewers are right in that it has more of a yellow tone so i wouldn't recommed this to ladies who have pink undertones or who are very fair skin tone. I am really happy with this purchase though as i have oily skin and this does not make me greasy - it gives me a lovely glow, whilst letting my skin breathe and providing SPF. I will be taking this on my honeymoon with me for daytime wear as it so quick to apply and you have all bases covered in a few strokes - moisturiser, primer, foundation, SPF cover. Fab. i will repurchase and perhaps pick up a light one too so that i can mix when i am paler :-) x
This is my favourite and ultimate foundation brush. I will not use anything else to apply foundation. It is really lovely and works like a dream. The only thing i would perhaps change about it is to have a slightly bigger head - but saying that it may not work so well as the small head lets you apply to the trickier areas like around the nose and under the eyes. I use my brush with the studio fix fluid and there is no streaking/caking ever!!!! Wonderful. Must buy for those that use studio fix fluid. Yes this brush is pricey but you do get what you pay for. I have been using my current brush for nearly 1 year and still going strong even after washing once a week. Very happy with my purchase and have another spare as well ;-) x
Loose Powders -Unlisted Brand - Mattify! Loose Powder
Bindi7 5/18/2012 7:01:00 AM
If you have oily skin you MUST get this. It is seriously a HG product for those of us who get shiny within a few hours of cleansing. I read the reviews and studied the website before purchasing and as its so cheap i thought well what can i lose? I am so glad i bought this. I used it yesterday evening over my foundation and by the end of the evening i was less shiny than usual and looked more dewy rather than greasy. The best bit was that i never looked cakey - when i applied over my foundation i just looked polished and later on when i got home i just looked healthy with a little shine. This is a first for me. I have tried so may powders over foundation and they all leave me looking cakey and dull. This was amazing. I only used a little and buffed onto my T Zone as advised by some of the reviewers on MUA and i looked great! It does blur your imperfections and pores which is great and looks so natural - but make sure you don't use too much! I have used it again today, but under my foundation (before primer) and then over my foundation and the result is even better.. I put my make up on at 6.45am this morning and it is now 12 midday and i look fresh and a little dewy.. not greasy and no need to blot! I would normally need to blot at 11am.. I will update over the next few days to see how i go after midday and also how effective it is if used after blotting...
Cleansers -Murad - Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser

This is a great cleanser for combination/oily skin. I use it every morning and night. I only need one pump of foam in the morning, but about 1.5 to 2 in the evening to get all my make up off (i wear medium coverage foundation). Note - you will need to use a separate eye make up remover for your eyemake up as this shouldn't get too close to your eyes. My skin is so much fresher, healthier and is glowing for the past week since i've been using this. I got mine from ebay much cheaper than the retail price and so would be a little reluctant to pay the full price knowing you can pick it up cheaper if you look around. It is really easy to use and does not dry my skin out. No lathering - it is already a foam! I know it's expensive, but when you considr that is cleanses AND tones then you are saving on purchasing a separate toner! I will continue to use this until i find a cheaper alternative - but if i keep picking this up on ebay then i will be a fan for years to come!
I went to the MAC counter looking to try the Pro Long Wear Foundation and looking for a concealer too. In the past i've not really used a concealer, but after using a touche eclat for a month i've realised that a bit of concealer under the eyes makes me look more alive! The SA matched me to NC35 in the foundation, but then used the mineralize concealer on me under the eyes. I looked so much fresher! I said i would have the concealer and asked what shade she had used.. and was surprised to finf that she had used NW25 on me! She said the NC shades would have looked 'too yellow' on me and i needed something a little lighter and brighter. She used the eyeshadow blending brush to apply but i didn't want to pay for that brush as well so i have been using my E.L.F Studio contour brush which is brilliant and cost me £3.50!! I am really impressed with this concealer. It is light, you don't need much and it does stay put with a little powder over the top. I don't have really dark circles under my eyes so i can't say if this would work for you if you have - but if you have good skin with not too bad dark circles then i would definitely recommend this.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer

I have been using the combination oily to oily formula since i was 24 and i am now 30! It is great. i think this is the only beauty product that i have purchased again and again for over 6 years. I use this here in the UK all year round and also if i go away on holiday. Note - if i am away abroad and the sun is strong i will also use another product cotaining SPF over the top (primer, tinted base, sun tan lotion for the face etc). It is a lovely base for primer and make up. This has never broke me out or made me dry. If you put too much on then you can feel greasy, but over the years i have learnt how much my face and neck can take!! You don't need that much and a pot generally lasts me around 5-6 months! The fact that it protects your skin from the first signs of ageing, has SPF 25 and is specifically aimed for combination to oily skins makes it a winner for me. I will continue to repurchase till i need something for older skin.... i.e. wrinkles...
Blush -Shiseido - Luminizing Satin Face Color - PK304 Carnation
Bindi7 4/26/2012 4:59:00 AM
I have been looking for a lovely true pink for a long time... I have tried lots fo different pinks.. the majority from MAC (pinch o peach, mocha, dame, plum foolery), some from NARS (sin, orgasm, douceur) and also other i have picked up (Bobbi Brown, Dior, Smashbox). This is the best of the lot. The finish is perfect - not shimmery, but not matte - just the right balance so that the colour is not flat or not too shimmery which can highlight oiliness (which i have!). It is very easy to apply and the colour can be built up easily. I am warm toned (NC35) and whilst this can look a little scary in the pan it comes out a lovely shade of on my olive skin. It gives a lovely fresh pop of pink to my cheeks without looking scary or clownish. The packaging is just gorgeous - sophisticated, classy and slim. I think is is very expensive but then the quality is what you are paying for. I am hoping this will last me ages!
I have had a strange experience with this product! It was put on me by a Benefit SA at Selfridges about a week before the actual launch. I wasn't really interested in the product - but thought i'd let her try it on me - what could i lose? When i looked in the mirror after she'd put it on i was like wow!! My brother even noticed my lashes looked different - he was out shopping with me. Then when i got home my mum asked if i had false lashes on!! I thought damn i'm gonna get me some of this!!! When i got the product and used it myself i was not overly impressed - i just couldn't get that look that the SA did. Anyway, i pursued and have gotten to love it. I can only use this on my upper lashes as if i put it on my lower lashes i have deposits under my eyes. Normally i would stop using a mascara that i could only use on my upper lashes but i do love this on my upper lashes! The trick for me is to wiggle gently from left to right whilst brushing upwards so the curl holds. I apply this quite slowly to get the result i want. I only use one coat for daytime use and then another one for going out/occassions. I am really happy and find that i don't get the spridery look which i loathe. I try to repurchase when there is 10% off beauty at Debenhams.
Makeup Brushes -Bobbi Brown - Foundation Brush - short handle
Bindi7 4/25/2012 4:35:00 AM
This review is for the full size brush (long handle) This is the best classic style foundation brush i've used - much softer bristles and easier to use than the others i have tried (E.L.F. studio angled, Benefit). It does make it easy to apply liquid foundation and the patting method is great to add additional coverage on top of your first layer if you need it and without streaking. The reason for 4 lippies is that (1) its expensive.. £31? Okay i know it will last and last but come on BB? (2) I have given 5 lippies to the Real Techniques stippling brush which is better than this in my opinion. Everyone is different, but i find the real techniques brush gives me a more airbrushed finish than the BB foundation brush. If you do prefer a classic foundation brush then this is a staple brush for you, but i will not repurchase... i will be using my Real Techniques brush instead and maybe this the odd time when i want more of a full coverage.
