Highlighters -MAC - Iridescent Pressed Powder in Star!
BigMomma23 12/28/2006 10:28:00 PM
Another product that seems to fly under the radar. I love this product because of it's understated elegance. It looks as if nothing much is going on your brush or your finger, but when applied to the skin, still not much, but when your makeup is finished, Star!'s understated brilliance just coyly captures your attention. It adds that something special without allowing the onlooker to guess it's exact presence. Very alluring and womanly, for that reason alone. I adore Star! as a cheek highlight.

Blush -Becca - Creme Blush in hyacinth
BigMomma23 12/28/2006 10:17:00 PM
Such a pretty colour. On my CCC/DDD skin, this blush is the cheeriest pinky coral blush. It reminds me a lot of NARS Cactus Flower without the shimmer. I like how this creme blush sets nicely and is well pigmented. While I do adore creme blushes, they can be ify in the long lasting department. I find this one does stick around, but can benefit with a kiss of a powder product to really last and lasts. Definitely worth having in your makeup arsenal.

Cleansers -Clinique - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
BigMomma23 12/28/2006 10:09:00 PM
I love this product. I am reliqious about removing my makeup but can be a tad lazy some days. *blush* That is why this is the perfect product for me. I leave the tub of it on my desk and grab a chubby pea sized amount and wipe it on my face and eye area while sitting at my desk. I let it sit for a few minutes and then head to the bathroom to wash it off. I just wet my fingers and rub the water on my fingers on to my face. The balm turns whitish and is easily rinsed off completely. Viola all the makeup is expertly washed off with little to no effort. Now, that's what I am talking about! There is no need to double cleanse, but I do when I have the energy too. It makes light work of removing all the makeup (eye included) in one go. Noice!

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Olive Eyeshadow
BigMomma23 12/28/2006 9:40:00 PM
I absolutely adore this colour. It is the most beautiful, shimmery, well pigmented olive-y shadow. It applies like the silkiest of silks and is long wearing. Of course it's long wearing life can be extended with a base, but it can hold it's own without it. The gorgeous, luxeness of the colour is what really grabs me. So rich. It is one of the few colours that looks so special on it's own, but will just amp up the beautifulness of any eyeshadow combo. Deeevine!

Eyeliner -Stila - Smudge Pot in Plum
BigMomma23 12/28/2006 9:34:00 PM
I honestly think there is nowhere near enough love for this product. I have purchased this several times over. I use it professionally as well as personally. I adore this rich, well pigmented gel liner and find the texture very workable. Plum as with all the Stila Smudge Pots are extremely long lasting and work equally fabulously as a liner or as a kick butt eyeshadow base. As a liner, I use either NARS Push brush #2 or Stila #4 brush. Both work well. Tightlining...OMG! *faints* So pretty. As a base, I either use my finger or Px Eye Paint brush (this is a gem btw) to apply. I wholeheartedly feel everyone should have a look at this beauty, especially CCCs, GGGs, and DDDs ( because I know you're thinking there's not enough out there for you). Love it!

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Toronto
BigMomma23 9/18/2005 11:59:00 PM
I am pretty much in love with Toronto. To me, this is the ice gold that all other ice golds shall be compared to. The texture is divine and the pigment fantastic. I am midway between CCC and a DDD and couldn't think of life without this shadow. I use it just about everywhere on the eye (at different times- wink.) I adore it as that inner V, wide awake twinkle, as a liner or as a stellat brow highlight or as a jazzy lid colour. You name the location and Toronto looks great there. I presently have two backups of this beauty. Gawd!

Mascara -Stephane Marais - Mascara Comb
BigMomma23 7/1/2005 7:20:00 AM
I love this mascara. This is the only comb applicator mascara that I have ever used. I am so sad that it is being discontinued too. *cry* I am a regular user of the Tweexerman Lashcomb and have found no need for it with this beauty. My lashes look lovely and seem to stay that way until I remove it. I haven't had any smudging or flaking problems and I have those tear easy eyes too! Go figuire. I am a contact lens wearer and this has caused me no trouble here either. I would love to repurchase.... *cry* Wink.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Iceland Duo
BigMomma23 7/1/2005 3:19:00 AM
What a surprise packet! I am somwhere between a CCC/DDD and adore this little beauty. To the uninitiated, you would be forgiven for asking, "why would I want to but two white shadows?" But on they are magic. I love them on my darker skin colouring too. The violet and the chartruese are fantastic. I especially love using them in various combos on my lids. I then line with BB Violet Gel Liner or SM Eye Kohl # 4 and add lashings of black mascara and...Hot damn!
