Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush

Awesomely awesome brush! I use this for my mineral foundations and, not only does this cover more of my face and hold more product, but it doesn't shed as much as the $25 flat top taklon brush I got from Alima Pure. At only $3, E.L.F. is definitely more than worth the money! Still haven't tried it with wet products, but I've heard it also works very well.

I REALLY want to buy the full size of this product. I got a sample from Sephora and used it for about a week. In that time, it not only cleansed, but left my skin feeling pretty darn soft after. I also noticed my breakouts calming down after using this. I actually kind of liked the smell. It reminded me of a spa treatment or something. I wish the warming effect lasted a bit longer and that it wasn't so freaking expensive to buy, but I think it might be worth it to save up for it.

Treatments -Mario Badescu - Buffering Lotion

Like a few other have stated, it doesn't work miracles--or at least it doesn't for me--but I have noticed my cystic pimples decreasing in size over time. It takes a loooong while though. I've been using this for almost two months now and the cysts on my left are almost all the way down, while my right is still pretty bumpy (but I tend to sleep on that side so that might be why). It seems pretty "gentle" if you could call it that, in that it doesn't seem to make my skin itch or anything. It does cause a little dryness, but nothing too bad. I don't really like the squeeze tube. If I try to drop it onto the zits on my chin it always runs down and I apply too much. I get better control applying with a cotton swab, but I feel like it wastes a bit of the product too, absorbing into the swab. I guess that means I wish it was more of a thicker consistency, but eh... oh well.

Treatments (Eye) -Mario Badescu - Hyaluronic Eye Cream

I'll be honest, this is the first eye cream I've ever used. Never thought much about treating under the eyes before until I reached my mid 20s and noticing my eyes getting a bit "tired" looking, I guess. I got this as another sample from MB and thought "hey why not". While I've really got nothing else to compare it to, I have to say I really like this product. It definitely moisturizes my eye area and is light enough to use during the day. However, I do agree with others that it is a little too thick to wear under makeup, but if you're going bare-faced it's perfectly fine. I've had no problems with breakouts or flaking or any weirdness of that sense, so it's a yay in my book. But I'm definitely curious to try other eye creams to compare the results.

Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Acne Facial Cleanser
rated 3 of 5

I'm not so sure what to think of this cleanser. I've been using it for about a month and I think it may be the reason my skin has gotten pretty irritated lately. It started off calming my acne down, but then I've been feeling itchy all over my face lately and really dry, even after moisturizing. I stopped using it and continued with just the buffering lotion and drying lotion after my new cleanser and I haven't had any irritation as of late. I have a ton left in the bottle, so I might save it for when my skin really freaks out, but for now I'm shelving yet another facial cleanser.

Moisturizers -Mario Badescu - Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30

I love this lotion! I got a sample size, but think I'm going to break down and buy the full sized bottle. It was very light weight, wore well under makeup, didn't break me out and felt kinda soothing. Only thing is that it seems to be kinda sticky. I hope it doesn't happen with the bottle, but the cap to the sample jar kept getting stuck on as if it had been glued, so I'd have to pry it apart for a good 10 minutes before using it. That, and it's expensive for the 2 oz. bottle! Other than that though, LOVE!

Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Enzyme Cleansing Gel

I actually got this for free as a sample from MB. It was part of the skincare regime that was recommended when I took the questionnaire on the website. At first, it left my skin feeling cleansed but not too dry. However, after a week or so, my skin would become super oily and started breaking out worse than when I started the product. To be fair, it could be that using it in conjunction with the a.h.a. and ceramide lotion was making my skin freak out, but it started feeling itchy on top of everything else, so I'm pretty sure I was allergic to one of the two, or something. I might try it as a sample again with the new moisturizer I'm using now to see if there is any difference. But, so far it doesn't seem like it works for me.
