Fantastic product. Like many others, I also use the BHA 2% Liquid formula with great results, but I don't like the greasy residue that remains on the skin post application. I love that this has a water-like consistency that leaves nothing behind. Plus, like the other product, it makes my skin look great--seems to prevent acne, diminishes pores, and definitely gives a healthier appearance. Wish it was a little cheaper, but the price won't stop me from repurchasing!
Makeup Brushes -Silk Naturals - Premium Synthetic Flat Top Brush
Berceuse 7/9/2010 1:51:00 AM
This is a very nice brush. The bristles are extremely soft and dense enough as well. I do prefer the shorter handled flat top to this one (by the same maker, Ultimate) because the diameter is slightly bigger...this one sold by SN is a little too small for my liking since I feel like it takes longer to apply powder to my face. However, if that does not bother you, then it is a good brush to invest in,
Lip Gloss -Silk Naturals - Birthday Suit lip gloss
Berceuse 7/9/2010 1:41:00 AM
I really like this gloss. The texture is nice, the gloss lasts, and the color's great. It's pinky-brown nude and on the darker side...it's actually only slightly darker than my pigmented lips, but on others with lighter lips it may turn out to be darker than expected. Someone else mentioned that it is a very sophisticated color, and I have to agree! Definitely recommend :)
Lips -Silk Naturals - Organic Lipstick in Negligee
Berceuse 7/9/2010 1:34:00 AM
This is one of my favorite shades from SN...actually, it may be my favorite daytime shade of theirs. I agree with the other poster that this is not a caramel shade, which is what I had been hoping for. However, on my pigmented lips it is a very flattering pink/nude shade, sort of MLBB, and I love it. I love their lipstick formula and hope they eventually come out with more colors. Anyway, it's a great shade that everyone should own! Can't go wrong here.
Love this! I have longs lashes anyway, but I love how this really does separate them and make them even better. This never clumps or leaves little bits like so many other products do. I would totally buy again!
Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
Berceuse 7/9/2009 9:04:00 PM
This is waaay too oily, and it gets underneath and blurs my contacts. Sure, it does remove make up, but there are plenty of other products that do the same thing without the mess...
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Berceuse 7/9/2009 9:01:00 PM
These work really well for removing my eye make up. However, for some reason I can't stand the scent. They also leave a little residue which I don't really mind because I can just wash it off afterward. Since they do work well though, I'm still giving this a 4.
Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials Express - All Skin Types
Berceuse 7/9/2009 8:56:00 PM
These are great cleansing cloths. I use these to take off my makeup at night when I don't feel like using my usual cleanser. Although they do remove mascara nicely, I do prefer other eye make up removing wipes for my eyes which do a slightly better job. I'll definitely repurchase because these are cheap, work well, and for whatever reason I'm in love with the scent!
I love this moisturizer and haven't had any isssues with uneven dispensing. Being someone who isn't always a fan of sunscreen in face products, I sort of wish the two parts were already mixed together so that I wouldn't have a choice but to always use the sunscreen part. :) But I enjoy how light it feels and works with foundation. Yay!
Cleansers -Biore - SkinPreservation Nourishing Gel Cleanser
Berceuse 7/9/2009 8:43:00 PM
I really like this cleanser. It works well and isn't drying, and I'm a fan of the pump dispenser. The smell was a little overpowering for me at first, but I guess I've gotten used to it because I'd repurchase when this runs out.
Scrubs -Clean & Clear - Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub - Oil-Free
Berceuse 7/9/2009 8:40:00 PM
This is a great gentle scrub. My face feels clean after using it and looks great, and I really do love the cooling feeling. Also, incredibly cheap! I kind of wish this were produced with a pump, but meh, oh well. :)
I bought this for the week time a week ago, and it's pretty good. It seems thicker than what I'd been using (Biore SkinPreservation), but I don't mind it. If I'm using it alone, it works fine. However, I have trouble using this and then trying to add a little liquid foundation over it...I can tell I'm wearing make up. The good news is that there's a lot of product for the price (6 oz for $11ish I think?). So, I'll use it alone during the daytime when I don't use any foundation, and even though I'm selecting 'yes' for repurchasing, I'd have to consider it because I'd like to find something a little better.
I really love this lipstick. This product actually got me into wearing lip products again. The color is just so pretty...not sure how to describe it exactly (peachy-bronzey-gold?), except that it's warm like others have said. Don't be scared off by the ridiculous yellowish lipstick picture in the Mary Kay catalog! This looks nothing like its photo. Anyway, I would of course repurchase, and any warm-toned individual should try this.
What can I say, except that it's a really nice highlight color. I first saw this is in the Chocolate sample card, and I love wearing it along with the Hazelnut and Ivy Garden colors. (Although of course this would go with anything.) Anyway, the square seems kind of small, although I guess it is only $6.50, and I don't use much to highlight. Anyway, if I ever run out, I'd definitely repurchase. I wish they'd change the packaging though--it's horrible! I really have to find some other way to store this shadow.
Nice shadow, pretty good staying power. In the pot it looks like a charcoal black with glitter (I was looking for a black shadow), but it applies with a navy tint to it--definitely not pure black. Maybe it's just my skintone. I wouldn't buy again b/c it wasn't the color I was hoping for...but if you're looking for that kind of shade, it is a nice shadow. Plus, the glitter is not overwhelming, and it's of course super inexpensive.
