Hair -Manic Panic - Virgin Snow Toner

This doesn't do a thing for me. I have naturally dark hair that I've dyed blonde twice, both times it came out looking brassy. I used this to tone it both times: it doesn't take the brassiness out at all; if anything, I just come away with redder hair. This is a total waste of money, and I'm extremely disappointed.

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - buxom lash

I don't think I'll ever find a mascara that's all-around the best, but this is as close as it gets for me. The length I get from it is extraordinary, it almost makes my lashes look fake! The volume is also very impressive. And I LOVE the big brush. A tad bit expensive, but worth every penny.

Polishes -Sinful - Nail Polish (all colors)
rated 5 of 5

My favorite brand! Sinful Colors is the reason I moved on from OPI- it's cheaper and dries faster. The only gripe I have is the lack of color selection, the display at my Walgreen's doesn't seem to have any neutral colors, but there are other brands I can turn to for that. I would recommend these to any nail polish lover! :)

Lipstick -MAC - Snob lipstick

Pretty lippie! It's light "Barbie pink" with a hint of purple. It's a bit too light for me and kind of drying, but I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. Definitely recommend.

Mediocre. Doesn't really even do anything to my lashes except tint them black. What a waste of $5.

Love this polish! Such a perfect gold, applied nicely, great staying power, applied 3 days ago and only a tiny bit of tip wear. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a gold nail polish.

Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Moisturizing eye makeup remover liquid
rated 2 of 5
BellamenteDulce 11/11/2010 8:21:00 AM

SO. FREAKING. OILY AHHH OMG! Removing my makeup with this feels like rubbing a slab of bacon on my face! Every time I use this I have to go over my face again with a couple clean cotton pads, and even that doesn't get it all gone. Aside from being super greasy, it does an adequate job of removing makeup but it's not good enough to suffer the oiliness. Would not repurchase.

Polishes -China Glaze - For Audrey
rated 3 of 5

I was disappointed in this. It's a pretty color, definitely. Feels as though it'd last a while. However, that's all I really liked about this polish. It applied very streaky for me, as well as dried streaky, and it was difficult to spread over my nail. Hopefully not all China Glaze polishes are this way.

Blush -MAC - Style
rated 5 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/27/2010 1:20:00 PM

I know it's winter and this is kind of a spring/summer blush, but I am just in love with this! I'm naturally very red, so this peachy color evens me out a little bit. The sparkle when the light hits it is absolutely gorgeous; it's a super subtle gold. I would definitely recommend this to anyone of any skin tone.

Polishes -OPI - Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees
rated 4 of 5

The one thing I do NOT like about OPI is that their formulas are so inconsistent. This NP is the perfect example: unlike the typical OPI, this is super, super thin. I had to apply 4 coats of this to get it opaque. 4 coats! I'm willing to go three coats, but after that, painting my nails just becomes too time consuming. Other than that, I love this color. It's one of those indescribable colors; in some lights, it's black, others, it's charcoal, blue, or purple. I just love that! And when I put Essie Matte About You over it, it's like angels sang in NP Heaven. If only the formula were a little better, this one would easily be one of my favorites.

Polishes -OPI - Meet Me On The Star Ferry
rated 3 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/18/2010 7:40:00 PM

As everyone else has said this is a glittery pink/purple-mauve-y color. Is it just me, or do the glittery colors by OPI chip really easily? I just put this on last night and it's already starting to wear. The polish itself seemed really...gloopy? It stuck to the brush and didn't seem to want to spread. It's not really a standout color either, it seems like my mom has a million just like it. Pretty, but not enough to repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Plumage - Matte e/s
rated 3 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/15/2010 11:13:00 PM

I desperately want to love this. I love the color, the only one I've been able to find similar to it is UD Goddess, and I'd rather not deal with the glitter fallout of UD shadows. But this was a disappointment. It's very hard to pack on and not terribly blendable, so on the skin it's not the nice, pretty teal that it is in the pan. Don't know how much use I'll be getting out of this, unfortunately.

Polishes -OPI - Chop-Sticking to My Story
rated 5 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/11/2010 3:09:00 PM

Let me start off by saying that I don't even LIKE the color orange. The fact that this polish caught my eye is just baffling to me, but here's where it gets really crazy: I LOVE this color. I don't think I've liked a color this much in a loooooong time. Such a perfect burnt orange for fall, and looks fabulous against my pale skin. Would definitely repurchase again and again and again.

Polishes -OPI - Jade is the New Black
rated 3 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/10/2010 8:09:00 AM

A few nights ago I asked my fellow MUAers what color I should paint my nails. They for the most part suggested You Don't Know Jacques! but I decided I was in the mood for this green. Well, now I know better than to go against the advice I'm given here. This color is one of those "depends-on-my-mood" things; sometimes I look at it and really like it, and other times it just looks ugly to me. It's certainly not jade; it's more of a "shamrock green" according to my boyfriend. But I can say a few good things about this polish; it has the typical outstanding quality of an OPI polish: very opaque, not streaky at all, dried fast. It seems to be quite chip resilient as well, and it looks pretty with Essie Matte About You over it. However, that alone is not enough for me to buy it again.

Polishes -OPI - Diva of Geneva
rated 4 of 5
BellamenteDulce 10/6/2010 9:29:00 PM

This would be the most perfect fuchsia if it didn't chip so darn easy! After two days on with a base coat, two coats, and a top coat, it's already wearing away. Aside from that little flaw, it's absolutely gorgeous. It's super shiny and shimmery and such a rich, beautiful berry color. Definitely a must-have for this winter!
