Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Chroma Riche

I'm undecided about this shampoo because there are good & bad things about it. As far as good: It restored softness, moisture and beautiful shine back to my hair. I was using my old shampoo for 15 years and it just quit working. As far as negatives about this Kerastase line of shampoos is concerned: I have fine hair and it seems to weigh my hair down and make it limp. As previously stated, it leaves some form of residue making my hair look as if it needs to be washed by the end of the day. I am now going to try the WEN product lines because I have read so many amazing reviews. I should add that I have tried for the past week Alterna's Bamboo SMooth Anti-Frizz shampoo and conditioner and it has worked fabulous on my hair. It smooths the cuticle leaving it shiny and provides tons of volume for my fine hair without leaving residue. Most importantly it contains no sulfates, parabans or any of those harsh things that strip your hair of its color or moisture. The price is much less than Kerastase!! The reviews on their were very good which prompted me to try it. Its definitely a keeper.

Lipstick -MAC - Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Impressive

I tried this and was very unhappy. I have been wearing lipstick for most of my life - I love it!! I have tried everything on the market and everything new that comes out however I keep going back to the best product on the market which is Chanel. They have three types: a thicker creamier lipstick (which is what I use), a more transparent line and the lipgloss type. The one I use keeps your lips soft and moisturized, is highly pigmented and stays on your lips the longest of anything else on the market.

Foundations -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full-Coverage Foundation SPF 15

I LOVE Tarte's new full coverage foundation with foundation brush. Like others, I received mine in a TSV from QVC. I have been using Oxygenetix for a few years now and I love it but it is expensive. I was hoping to find something to switch off to that was gentle on my skin and did not cause break outs. Tarts new foundation is a fabulous alternative for me. It gave me a flawless finish, I love the way the brush works with it, it covers extremely well on first application and is reasonably priced. I should mention that I LOVE all of Tarte's products except for one or two things. Though Oxygenetix is still my favorite I will be switching back and forth between the two.

Liquid -Tarte - ReCreate Anti-Aging Foundation With Wrinkle Rewind Technology SPF 15

I agree with several others that this does not provide sufficient coverage nor a flawless finish. However, I LOVE the rest of Tarte products. QVC has an incredible Tarte advanced sale TSV which includes Tarts BRAND NEW "full coverage foundation" !!. There are five new products in the set and you can't get anywhere else. Its value is $175 but qvc is selling the entire set for $48. I just ordered one and it looks fabulous. Anxious to try the new foundation

Liquid -Unlisted Brand - Oxygenetix Liquid Foundation
rated 5 of 5
Beejene 1/16/2011 12:05:00 AM

I am a former Dermacia user. I began using Oxygenetix a little over a year ago and in my opinion its superior to Dermacia. Though I used it, I found Dermacia to be on the dry, thick and heavy side. I had to mix it with Dermacia face moisturizer to get it to glide on properly. Oxygenetix goes on like silk and gives a flawless finish. It is a bit thinner than Dermacia but it IS buildable. I have very sensitive skin and Oxygenetix is the only foundation that I can use. It even gets rid of the redness in my skin. It covers pores beautifully and it looks natural. I apply a little on the back of my hand and then apply it to my face with a bush using my fingers to blend. Its soothly and healing and as far as I'm concerned there is nothing that can compare to it out there. Oxygenetix Moisturizer is also a wonderful product. A little goes a long way and I use it at night before I go to bed and under my Oxygenetix foundation periodically. I love these products.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL
rated 1 of 5
Beejene 12/20/2009 2:40:00 PM

Like other reviewers too wanted to like Bare Minerals. I have slightly oily acne prone skin. First of all the coverage is horrible and it makes your pores look large. At the end of the day the color would change and my face would look dirty. Foundation of any type is supposed to make you look better but this product does absolutely nothing and has no staying power. Its amazing that its as popular. Also, after using it for 6 months I developed a sensitivity to it and would get real itchy when I used it. Its in the trash now and I am going with a regular foundation.

Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Dermacia - Lycogel [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
Beejene 12/20/2009 2:33:00 PM

I love Dermacia but like many of you had difficulty using it at first. Then Dermacia came out with their breathable moisture for the face (not the clear spray). I would put the breathable moisture all over my face "first" making sure it was completely rubbed in "then " I would put Dermacia on the back of my hand use the brush to apply then spread and smooth with the dry sponge that came with it. Every single time my skin was flawless. The problem was the company should have told us this but when the product was introduced they did not have the breathable moisture just that clear spray which I felt was useless. A company in Europe is now the "new" owner of Lycogel which I think is the new name for Dermacia (but now sure). I wrote to them and they told me that did not have a US distributor yet so I don't where the Lycogel products are coming from that people are purchasing on certain websites. ALSO Barry Knapp (inventor and President of Dermacia) now has a product they say is even better than Dermacia called Oxygenetix. There is a website on line that I just ordered it from. I will let you know how it works out.
