I thought I'd give this a try because it is actually a milk rather than a cream. You can just put some on cotton wool and wipe. The texture is similar to that of one of my favourite products - Anne French Cleansing Milk - which is not easy to find here in the Middle East. So far, so good. Does a reasonable job of cleansing. I'm not that keen on the smell but it isn't too bad. The packaging is ok.

Wonderful stuff for all the dry bits. But so expensive. They do a tiny tin and a huge tin. Wish they did a middle size tin!

I am happy with this product. It has good UV protection which I need as I live in a very harsh climate. The texture is very light and I don't find it at all greasy. There seem to be 2 colour options and I think that by mistake I bought the slightly darker one. But it doesn't seem to matter as it blends very well.

Cleansers -Avene - Cleansing and Make-Up Remover Micellar Lotion

Surprised to see some negative reviews. So far I really love this product. I must admit I use it more as a toner rather than an all in one cleanser: I remove most of my make up first with cleansing cream then finish off with cotton wool soaked in micellar lotion. It has a lovely mild perfume and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft..

Cleansers -Logona - Wild Rose Cleansing Milk

I'm always on the lookout for good cleansing creams and this is one of the best I've tried. I usually spray a little Evian water on my face, massage in the cleanser then tissue off. After that I use my usual toner and moisturiser. It makes a pretty good job of removing any makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft. The pump isn't the best I've tried but no real problems. And the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Normally whenever I buy a toner or cleansing water, I check that the product doesn't contain alcohol as it makes my skin sting and feel very dry. Unfortunately I didn't check this one before I bought it as it was advertised as very gentle. When I used it, the scent was lovely and it seemed like an effective cleanser. But after use my skin felt dry and, when I checked, alcohol is listed as one of the ingredients. I shall finish this bottle but I won't re-purchase.

BB Cream -Bobbi Brown - BB Cream SPF 35 PA+++

I absolutely love Bobbi Brown Extra Spf 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm in Extra Light and when it was time to buy a replacement I thought I would give this new product a try. Unfortunately although I chose the same shade - Extra Light - this does not suit me at all. The colour is far too pale - it looks almost chalky white and clown like. The colour of the BB cream is much paler than the moisturizing balm. Such a disappointment. The texture is otherwise good and it is nice to have the high SPF.

Cleansers -Jergens - All-Purpose Face Cream

Wonderful product. The texture is just right - it removes make-up quickly and without making any mess. I cover my face with the cream then tissue off and tone. Don't use any water near my face as the water here is very saline. My only very tiny complaint is that the perfume is quite strong.

This tinted moisturizer gives excellent coverage and lasts all day. For my dry skin it is just perfect. But unfortunately the colour is awful - far too yellow for my very fair skin. Additional note. I have continued to use this product because the texture and coverage are so good. The yellow colour hasn't been too much of a problem over the summer, probably because I have had a very slight tan. Also I have tried to tone down the colour by wearing something like MAC strobe cream underneath. All in all a pretty good product. Wish they would make a version more suitable for fair complexions.

I don't mind the strong almond smell of this cream. I like the texture and use it at night on my hands, elbows and feet.

I usually like BeneFit products although I think that they are a bit overpriced. However this is not one of their better items . I found the texture very dry and did not like dragging it accross the delicate skin round my eyes. It ended up in the bin.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Skin

I bought this product without really knowing what it was for and my first reaction was disappointment. I really had no idea what it was supposed to be doing. But after a while I realised that after applying this primer the rest of my make up just glides on and my skin both looks and feels incredibly smooth. Magic!

Like other reviewers i am not too keen on the smell of this product. But I have been using it for a while now and have discovered that it is an absolutely brilliant moisturiser. It doesn't feel at all greasy or sticky but keeps my dry skin perfectly moisturised. Highly recommended.

I just love this product and have been using it for over 30 years. There is no other cleanser like it. It very easily removes all trace of grime and make up. But it is getting very hard to find. Boots don't seem to stock it now. Which is a great shame.

For dryish skin, this is quite simply one of the best products on the market. Works perfectly even in the extreme climate that I experience (the Middle East).
