First off, this isn't really a "stain", it's a very wet mascara. It darkens your lashes- it's not build-able for volume, BUT it gets sticky fast if you try more than a coat or two. It's very, very waterproof- more waterproof perhaps than anything I've tried and I've tried a lot. If you want a foolproof mascara to swim in, this is it! However, it still comes off reasonably well with a soak in my Neutrogena waterproof makeup remover. I like it overall for days when my mascara is really put on trial. As for it's 4 day claim? You'll sleep in it once, wake up and realize that yep, it's still mostly there- but your lashes will feel sticky and sorta eww and you'll definitely want to take it off and start fresh!

Mascara -Essence - Stays No Matter What 24 Hour Volume Mascara

Considering it's $5 price, I didn't have high expectations. But the yellow square tube was too cute to pass up. I worked out and showered in this mascara and it barely budged. No smudging or dark circles, just a tiny bit of flaking. Definitely impressed with how waterproof it is! If I wanted to go out, I wouldn't have bothered to touch up. It gives really nice length and volume- but nothing mind blowing. A true dark black color. Wasn't too difficult to remove, but I didn't exactly expect something that promises 24 hours to melt off. The only downside is that it has a tendency to get spider-leggy if you use more than 2 coats because it seems to have a drier formula than most waterproof mascaras. I recommend this if you need a waterproof, long wearing mascara for the summer.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible Eyeshadow in Continuous Cocoa #891

I was expecting this to have much better, fuller pigment! It shows up very washed out.. there's not much color to it. I tried applying with a wet eyeshadow wand and then my finger tip and still not what I was hoping for. Forget using a brush on this stuff. Mostly upset that I paid quite a bit for this product when $4 products have worked much better. :( If you want something that last with better color, try the CoverGirl color tattoo eyeshadow. I was much happier with that purchase.

Mascara -NYX - Le Chick Flick (waterproof lashes)

I almost only use waterproof mascaras and there are a number of them out there that I like, but this one was not up to par. The formula was very wet and therefore built VERY little volume (and I like natural looking mascaras!). It also left my lashes crunchy. If you want a natural looking mascara, try Maybelline's Full n Soft waterproof. Much better than this mascara!

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Romantic

Romantic is a true red that even when the balm feel has faded, leaves me with a light cherry stain. I use Revlon's Just Bitten Stain + Balm (the marker with the balm on one half) on a regular basis. Without putting the balm on top of the stain, it's drying. So, I had to try this new product- Kissable Balm, figuring it would be way more moisturizing. Problem is that it still feels somewhat drying on me. I still feel like I need to add gloss or chapstick on top of it. :( However, this is a nice substitute for lipstick. So much more forgiving.. (given an hour) you don't have to worry about transfer. I will continue to buy for this reason.

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Waterproof Mascara

This mascara passed the waterproof test without a hitch (I take a shower minus washing my face and see how it fares). And I've worn it camping and swimming at the beach- with barely a smudge. However I'm not super impressed with its length-adding ability (I mean this ain't cheap stuff, so I had high expectations). Dior does a better job at that.. however, Dior Waterproof mascaras aren't waterproof at all! I have settled on this mascara as my standard mascara. I may move back to Covergirl Professional Waterproof eventually since it gives somewhat similar results for just $4. However, BADgal is more gentle and easier to remove. I had the same issue others mentioned with the design of the tube.. product tends to collect on the narrow rim and gets wasted because there's no putting it back.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Iconic Extreme (Waterproof)

Mixed feelings about this mascara. I really like the look of it on me- shiny, dark pigment, great length and moderate volume. A natural, separated look rather than super dramatic. Worth the price even but as a non-waterproof mascara. It will last through a bit of contact lens eye-watering but with full on tears or splashes it came off in large black specks. Not impressed in the waterproof department therefore 3 stars.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner

I love this stuff. However, know that this eyeliner is for smudging. If you don't smudge it intentionally, it will smudge itself after an hour anyways. The oversized crayon tip is just what I want for a smokey eye look. It makes it so easy to apply. I have it in Brown and this is that rare true brown- not nearly black, not weirdly chestnut, just brown. Lasts all day on me, though I notice that it does rub a bit of color onto my lower lash line. Nice that it comes with a sharpener, but I wish they would also include a rubber smudging tool on the end of the pencil.

Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Style Surf Hair

Not for me! I have fine hair strands, but thick hair. It's naturally straight and moderately short. I was hoping for something to add a little texture to my hair for those mornings when I just don't feel like shampooing. Instead, it made my hair limp and greasy. I was very careful not to put much on. They give you a ton of this stuff for the price, but I'll stick to other hair products.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten - Victorian

I've tried quite a few stains and I like this one the best. Especially the color "Victorian".. it looks outrageously pink, but it comes off as a very natural tint on my fair skin. Just do one to two swipes of it. If you decide to play color by number, your lips are gonna look darker than you want. I also like the convenience of having the balm located right on the stick. I hear that others have had issues with knocking the balm off when they put the cap back on, but I've been using two of these for a month now and I haven't had that issue.

I'm not going back to any eyeshadow formula but this. Very pigmented. Easy to put on and it stays on. The commercials make it look like a fluffy mousse, but it's actually very dense. The shimmer is super fine (I hate glitter). The Bronze color is nicely chic and neutral. It would look great on almost anyone.

Mascara -Shiseido - Nourishing Mascara Base

Had to try this because of the reviews. Just to warn, this stuff plus waterproof mascara on top equals VERY waterproof. I tried putting the base on, waiting a minute, then putting on mascara and it was a mess. I had tons of those weird pointies (those things that stick out in odd directions) on the tips of my lashes. Not good. Then, I tried not allowing the base to dry whatsoever. That worked alright. I noticed a little more length on my lashes, but it wasn't amazing. I'm actually split on whether I'd buy this again. BTW, unlike other bases this is a smooth, clear gel.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Mega Plush

Middle of the road mascara. This mascara claims to be feather light because it's a gel. The formula didn't really feel any different to me than other mascaras such as L'Oreal Volumous. Yes, it doesn't make your lashes stiff or brittle like say, Cover Girl Lash Blast, but still I still don't think this stuff is fantastic. I had to do a few coats to get decent volume which made things just a little clumpy. I'm also not a fan of brushes with super long bristles. Big brushes are ok, but the long bristles make it hard to reach the roots of my lashes.

I have allergic reactions to a number of cosmetics especially lip balms and lip sticks. However no problems with this one. Has a light scent and taste like marshmellow or white chocolate. Love that it has spf protection but no nasty sunscreen taste (maybelline baby lips I mean you). Matte finish which I want for summer. Quite long lasting and only 1.25. Superior to the blistex stuff I was using before.

I got this in cherry. Lovely sheer color. Classic cough syrup cherry flavor. Very soft, slightly waxy feel. But it doesnt last long and it transfers like nothing else. Guess thats why its cheap.
