I have fair yellow skintone with blue undertones. This lipstick has become my favourite. To me, it looks like a peachy shade which I was worried would not work at all with my blue undertones. So, I was surprised that on application, it turned out to be the perfect nude. It is also moisturising enough without being sticky or too shiny. I have dry lips, but I don't need lip lotion when I use this lipstick. It is a highly versatile shade which can be applied with full makeup for a formal occasion or worn on a bare face when in a hurry.

Fragrances -Clarins - Eau Dynamisante

I have used this for years and it is still my favourite. It is my perfume staple. The largest size I bought was 500ml, but sadly this size is no longer available where I live. On the few days when my skin is too dry for any type of cleanser, I just splash my face with water mixed with a few drops of Eau Dynamisante and my skin feels soft and smooth. I also use the blue one, another staple of mine. I prefer to keep mum when people ask me what lovely scent I am wearing; that's how proprietory I feel about it. I just don't want people around me wearing this same wonderful scent. :-)

Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eyeliner Gel Macroviolet

I bought this in haste as my makeup stash badly needed an update and have tried to let it grow on me, but no. This shade is just too warm for me. I kept lining and lining and my lids still seemed to show through. Eventually, i realised that it is not my lid showing through, that IS the shade of the gel liner; the excessive gold tone in it just makes it appear as if my lid is still showing through.

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Cream Blush Stick Desert Rose

Have to agree with shadowgerl; this accentuates yellow tones, not complement them; very aging. Definitely more suited for those with warm undertones e.g. green/hazel eyes. I have bought seven BB items and am not happy with any of them, so I am done with this brand. It's just browns, neutrals and oranges. I wear this at home whenever possible, just to finish it.

Lipstick -NARS - Lipstick in Dolce Vita

Like Nars Orgasm rouge, this is still the best shade of natural-looking shade around for light-skinned girls. After years in the market, it hasn't been bested yet. Still the must-have shade for me.

If you have NC light skin, and looking for just one blush, this could be the one. It's been around for years and is still the best.

Lipstick -Chanel - Rouge Coco in Cambon #31
rated 4 of 5

This is a nice colour for people with fair-to-light skin with cool undertones. To me, it looks like a reddish pink. For the price, I expected a shade which was more unique, but I feel there are other similar shades out there one could get for cheaper. However, it does have a wonderful texture, and I like the rosewater smell. I have dry lips. When I tried it on the day I bought it, I accidentally fell asleep wearing it. When I cleaned it off the next morning, my lips were actually improved from wearing it. Strangely, over time, the colour started to grow on me more and more, and it seemed less and less ordinary than it first appeared.
