Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Deep Pore brush head

FINALLY! The perfect brush head. This is the 4th type of brush head I have tried with my Clarisonic and I have finally found the keeper. I think the key to getting the Clarisonic to really work for you is finding the right brush head to work for you. The deep pore brush head is amazing with my skin. I am able to use it twice a day with no problems at all. It doesn't feel scratchy, but it doesn't feel too delicate. I've been using a Clarisonic for 2 years and have gotten good results but I've gotten the best results the last month using this brush head.
I LOVE this Lipstick! I was afraid of the color at first(as I am with all Lipsticks)but once I tried it I loved the way it looked with my skin tone. It feels very moisturizing on & it lasts for hours.
Crème -Revlon - New Complexion One-Step Compact Makeup

I literally used this ONE time and returned it. It looked good and had great coverage when first applied and set. No more then 2 hours later did I regretted using this. I use Milk of Magnesia as a primer to control my oily skin & that lasts me all day. Under this makeup? NOPE. This literally melted right off of my face and looked like I never put makeup on to begin with. Literally in a matter of 2 hours. I looked like a oily splotchy mess. All I saw was pores and all my scars. It looked like I tried to wipe it off with a tissue or something. This was completely horrible for me.
Seeing as how the sensitive brush head was so rough, I decided to try the delicate. This delicate brush head was okay for a few days but it really wasn't doing anything for my skin. It didn't give me that very clean feeling that I want & get from my deep pore brush head. It was a little too delicate for me.
Skincare - Face -Clarisonic - Sensitive Brush Head

For a sensitive brush its actually pretty rough. Every time I have tried to use the sensitive brush heads I realize why I don't use them. It's very scratchy. I don't like the way it feels on my face at all.
I had been using the original Mia for about 2 years & I decided I wanted to upgrade to the Mia2. I really wanted to try out the 2 speeds & I also wanted the timer feature. I love this one even more than the original. I enjoy the 2 speeds even though I mostly only use one, but if my skin is feeling a little more blah I will use the higher speed. I love the timer feature because with my old Mia I felt as if I would sometimes spend too much time in one area & wasn't using it evenly. Now I know exactly when to move on to another area of my face. Im very pleased with my decision to upgrade :)
I'm really not fond of this brush. When I first received it I thought it was really fluffy and soft & couldn't wait to try it. I tried it and only used it twice since then. I'm 100% sure I will never pick it up to use it again. It shed like a dog. I literally had to sit there and pick the hairs off of my face which is not something that should have to be done. I also noticed that it didn't hold a lot of powder nor did it distribute it too well either. I kept having to go back for more & powder. I washed it after the first use and tried to use it again after that and to me, the brush become kind of rough after the first wash and still shed like dog. I wasn't impressed.

I keep seeing reviews saying this is gives horrible acne & I'm starting to worry. I have extremely cystic acne prone skin & I've been using this for the past few days, I haven't seen any acne yet(thankfully). I've been using this over Milk of Magnesia as my skin is extremely oily and the two together keep me oil free all day. I work 10 hour days & commute for 2 hours a day, so I'm in a face full of makeup for a long time everyday. I really needed something to keep my makeup looking good for that many hours & this is so far doing just that. I will update on the acne part but I'm really hoping this doesnt cause any for me cause this is exactly what I needed for my makeup to stay put all day! **UPDATE** OH MY GOD. THIS HAS CAUSED THE WORST BREAKOUT OF MY LIFE & I HAVE DEALING WITH ACNE FOR YEARS. I HAVE NEVER BROKEN OUT SO BADLY BEFORE. MY FACE HURTS AND I AM ASHAMED BE TO OUTSIDE LIKE THIS. IT WORKED BEAUTIFUL FOR A WEEK AND THEN HUGE CYSTIC PIMPLES ALL OVER MY FACE.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

I've been using this on & off for at least 3 years now. I always seem to come back to it when I just wanna wear powder & no liquid. I actually really love this foundation because it the amount of coverage it gives it amazing. It covers better than high end mineral foundations & I was blown away by that considering the scaring on my face requires a lot of coverage. I'm only giving it a 3 because it can stick to dry spots and look cakey. I also noticed in all photos where I am wearing this I look like a ghost. I can't see to find a really good color match either. I end up using the shade that's a tad too light and I have to darken it up with a small amount of another powder. If you find a good shade in this it's completely worth it. I've never broken out from it and the coverage like I said is great.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Dana Classic Fragrances - Love's Baby Soft

Back when I was little I used to LOVE this perfume,.My mom used to buy them all the time & I loved the way it smelled. I haven't gotten one in years and not too long ago I finally got one. OH MY GOD. I don't know if they changed the scent all together or added new ingedients but it was horrible. The smell was making me want to throw up. It was not the same Baby Soft I remembered.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

I used to use these before I started using Milk of Magnesia as a primer. My skin would get so oily during the day. They are good for a quick fix to matten your face for a little while. I only gave these a 3 because they claimed not to smudge makeup, which they infact do smudge makeup & I found that I had to use them pretty often. The packaging is also kind of crappy because at times it will pull out 2 or 3 sheets & I would have to find a way to stuff them back in there. The price of them for the amount that I needed to use for the whole day just wasn't worth it in my opinion but they are good for a quick fix.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I am an excessive hand washer. I literally wash my hands all the time, after anything I touch. Unfortunately all of that hand washing causes my hands to become very dry(no matter what soap I use) & sometimes my skin cracks and bleeds(fun!). I recently purchased the travel size of this to throw in my purse and to use while I'm at work or out. I absolutely love it. I love that it's fragrance free, although I do like some scents sometimes it can be a little too much. This literally sunk right into my skin and moisturized it immediately. It barely took any rubbing in. The main thing that I love about this & this is a VERY important factor to me, is that is did not leave a greasy look/feel. I've been through so many lotions and that is one of the mains reasons I end up tossing them. I can not stand lotion that leaves grease!!! This one does not do that at all. I'm going to stick to this moisturizer. I plan on buying a bigger size to leave on my desk at work and will continue keeping a travel size in my purse. As of right now I don't see myself using anything else for my hands.
Powder -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Loose Powder

I honestly can only use this as a setting powder, if even that. I originally bought this in #20 and it oxidized so much that I looked about 4 shades darker. I then tried it in the lightest shade which is #10 and that ended making me about 2 shades darker. This seriously oxidizes ridiculously. Alone this gives absolutley no coverage at all for me which made me end up trying it as a setting powder to begin with. I barely use it as a setting powder, I can only use it as a last resort.
I actually use this a lot. I started waxing my eyebrows myself & I need one of these to brush my very thick brows before and after waxing. This was only $1 and it does the trick. It hasn't broke on me and I've had it for quite a while now. I would buy another one if it does break because its cheap and works.
This is honestly one of the best concealers I have ever tried. It covers wonderfully & it lasts all day. I believe the price the ridiculous though. You do only need a small amount so it will last you awhile but honestly.. My $6 Hard Candy Glamoflauge is just a great as this concealer. I only re-purchased this item when I saw Ulta had a buy one get one free on it! So I got 2 of them for $28(the smaller size). Other than that I wouldn't repurchase since I have a cheaper dupe.
