Conditioner -Organix - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner

As much as I want the Organix line of paraben and sulfate free shampoos and conditioners to work for me, nothing has really impressed me so far. This conditioner didn't really do anything special for my hair---I have thick, very wavy/curly hair. I didn't see much difference with frizz and my hair didn't feel extra soft like some other reviewers experienced. I could have gone without it and my hair would look and feel the same way. I really loved the way it smelled but I don't think this is the best conditioner for me!

Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil Free

I never knew what a holy grail foundation was until I tried this tinted moisturizer. I'm not a fan of really heavy foundations, and was shocked that this was able to cover redness in my cheeks, even out my skin tone, and just give my skin a beautiful, healthy glow without feeling or looking like i am wearing anything. I got this as part of the Laura Mercier flawless face kit and will definitely be purchasing the full size when I run out. Even though it's a tinted moisturizer, i always use my clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel and have been using the laura mercier oil free primer. I haven't had any issues with oilyness. For added coverage I use a bit of powder, but i am really impressed with this product.I'm also combo/oily and prone to breakouts and after using this for nearly 2 months, can say safely that it hasn't contributed to any breakouts! It's very expensive, but the quality and the natural look it gives me (that many other products have failed to do!) is well worth it!

This is a gorgeous bright cherry red with very VERY tiny specks of glitter. two coats was perfect coverage. the glitter is really dense and even throughout the polish, so it gives a lovely effect on the nails.

This is the most gorgeous taupey/goldy/medium champagne color. It's so unique the moment I saw it I knew I had to have it. It doesn't look like the most flattering color in the bottle, but I really love wearing it on my nails---it's actually really flattering and perfect for the fall. i am nc25ish and really liked the effect on my skin tone. I'm also really impressed with the wear time. I had it on for an entire 6 days without any chipping--amazing. i am new to zoya, but they are definitely becoming my favorite polishes ever.

This is a gorgeous, cool toned, creamy light purple. It has a wonderful formula and applies effortlessly. Looks wonderful in one coat, but two is perfection. Lasts at least 4-5 days without any chips. Very impressed with this polish, definitely recommended!

Lipstick -Rimmel - Rich Moisture - Fancy

It would be a really beautiful lipstick if it did not have such a frosty texture. It's a beautiful, light pink, but i find it to be a little gritty on my lips. It does feel moisturizing and it's nice at night, but if you put on too many layers (which is easy to do to see the color since it's kind of sheer) it can get way too frosty. Very pretty color though, if you can get it for even less on sale then go for it! :)

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst in True Red
rated 5 of 5
BeautyBloom 2/9/2011 4:56:00 PM

I am typically the girl who loves red lipstick on other women, but never feel bold enough to wear it myself. For some reason THIS red is the one that I will wear. It's a true red (blue based on my skin tone nc25ish at the moment). The formula is wonderful...i wear a balm underneath, red lipliner, and it wears really well for a few hours. It has a slight sheen to it like most of the Colorburst line and has very cute quilted packaging, much nicer looking than any other drugstore lippies i've seen. Really a wonderful lipstick and I will definitely repurchase when I run out!

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst lipstick in Petal
rated 5 of 5
BeautyBloom 2/9/2011 4:48:00 PM

Firstly I LOVE revlon colorburst lipsticks. the formula is perfect: long lasting, smooth, moisturizing--it's very good quality! Petal is a really beautiful pale pink with a lovely sheen to it (no glitter or anything). I love wearing it with any color smokey eye when i don't want to do a nude lip! definitely recommended!

I looove this color. it's a gorgeous jewel toned plummy, raspberry, red-pink. it's a perfect color if you want to wear those deep hues for fall/winter. 2 coats was perfect, but i like 3 coats to get the color even richer.

Tinted Moisturizer -Jemma Kidd Makeup School - Pro Finish Moisture Tint SPF20
rated 4 of 5
BeautyBloom 9/15/2010 12:45:00 AM

Just picked this up at Target and I have to say this is a really great tinted moisturizer, i'm surprised there aren't more reviews. It IS a bit pricey for a drugstore product (i got it for $26) but I'm glad i bought this over some of the more expensive ones in Sephora (i tried to find a match for laura mercier TM and none of them worked for me). It gives nice coverage, it smoothes my skin tone and covers up the redness while still feeling very light on my skin. I dust some mac msfn over it after to keep it from getting oily. I really love this product! Only complaint would be that it has a strong fragrance-y smell...i personally don't mind it though because it goes away a few minutes after applying. Would definitely recommend!

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Eyeshadow (singles and duos)
rated 4 of 5
BeautyBloom 7/19/2010 7:12:00 PM

I bought the Erotica/Silk Teddy duo. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and easily blendable. The colors are gorgeous, I always get compliments when I use just these two colors on my eye. They wore very well over a primer (i use UDPP) and stayed on on all day. Only issue is they can get messy with the fallout, but that's not really a big deal to me. Would love to buy more eyeshadows from too faced, definitely recommend!

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Shimmer - Springsheen
rated 5 of 5
BeautyBloom 7/18/2010 9:14:00 PM

this is the perfect shimmery, coral-pink-gold blush ever. it's probably my favorite blush, i use it ALL the time. This is a great dupe for the infamous Nars Orgasm..but i find that springsheen is prettier and more pigmented (and less money!) It's pigmented, but you can layer it easily from sheer to more present. Wear time is great, it stays on my face all day. I think it would work on any skintone, pale to dark. I range from Nw20-35 (when i'm tan) and springsheen works perfectly through each season. Definitely repurchasing when i hit pan..

Polishes -Essie - Adore-A-Ball
rated 3 of 5
BeautyBloom 5/24/2010 12:25:00 AM

Really pretty color in the bottle, but I had to apply over 5 coats to actually get the color. I didn't realize it was going to be THAT sheer. Other than that, it lasts a long time and doesn't chip easily. I still love Essie nail polishes, this just wasn't my favorite.
