Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess

Because I am an oil frag fan and because I read reviews manically before I purchase things I do not have tester access to, I was pretty sure I couldn't go wrong with Egyptian Goddess. My skin is able to hold and react lovely to fragrances in general very well, so I really had no qualms about purchasing before testing after the reviews. First of all, the packaging is handy, holds enough oil to last you (I put two large stripes down one arm, and swipes on each side of my neck) for a while, as 1/3 of an ounce is surprisingly much for a roll-on bottle. It allows for no wasting of the product. Also, oil roll-ons tend to be MUCH easier on the sinuses than spray, and is more convenient to freshen up with when you aren't at home. To the scent: When I wear fragrances, I like to be able to smell them when I move, all day long getting tiny whiffs. Not have them overpower my senses throughout the day like I literally sprayed them above my lip. Auric Blends Egyptian Goddess does EXACTLY what I want. It almost feels magical; when you are least expecting it, you will smell it. Its actually a scent I have trouble smelling when I want to, as I don't really sense much when I smell where I rubbed it. Having said that, for those who like strong smells, this does mean that it is a rather weak one in comparison to most I have tried. As for the scent itself, it is very ethereal. To me it smells like light orient incense, floral notes slightly powdered, and a cool white moon on a fresh rainy morning. It really can be that poetic! It is a strangely attractive scent and is easily able to make the wearer feel comfortable and in tune with it, rather than having to live up to its stench. This is definitely a natural scent that smells like it belongs on the skin, just barely hovering above it. A whisper scent.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Spiritual Sky Perfume Oil in Temptation
Bassmastadroog 8/3/2011 10:41:00 AM
The oil that got me into oils: 3 or so years ago I purchased this frag oil from a shady hippie store on top of a hill just on the skirts of town called That 70's Store. While browsing the shelf I saw these tiny (2 inch or so) glass bottles filled with oils of muted color wrapped in a cheap mod-70's goddess label. Intrigued (oil bottles have that effect?..) I picked up both Temptation (gingery tan color) and Frangipani (syrup pink). While Frangipani smelled like a nursing home on cheap neon crack, Temptation had a detached, mysterious spicy smell. I had never had that in a fragrance and I totally fell in love. I enjoy those rather lusty hippie smells, the more sophisticated musky hippie smells. The oil slides on flawlessly without any gummy after effect, the scent lingers but is not overpowering, and for such an under the radar, cheapy little oil bottle the long lasting power is GREAT. Literally, I can smell it on me a day later. Again, this category of scent is not for everyone's skin, but if you enjoy the gingery, warm, musky, earthy scent of palm reading rooms (I can envision this smell in a room of incense, lying upon a bed of muslin with a great open window looking out toward indian dunes) you will LOVE this! Hard to find (Amazon occasionally), and dirt cheap price, this bottle though small will last you!

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Dark Kiss
Bassmastadroog 8/3/2011 9:53:00 AM
I REALLY hope I can find this product again when my two sprays/one lotion run out! The first fragrance I have "really loved" (not that there aren't other nice scents, but ones that just grab you!) from BBW in a really long time. I hold musk really well, and on those who also do you will sense that aspect more heavily. On my skin it initially vibes as a super sweet mixture, then quickly settles into a seductively delicious mix of candy berries and creamy vanilla, while still remaining smoky enough to eliminate the Teen Sweetness. *If fragrances bearing "sweet"-ness do not work for you, you may not enjoy this* < Can't repeat that enough. While mysteriously cloaking you in musky vanilla, I still find the sweet berries to be the overwhelming scent! It works for me when normally that wouldn't though, so I speak highly. It is DEFINITELY an attractive scent. Inexpensive for the size of the bottle, as usual for BBW.

Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner Pop Collection - Hazel Eyes

To clarify, I have the Pop for blue eyes. To the review: The COLORS! My gosh, they are a mix of oceanic blues to snowy blues to Egyptian gold to bronze. I seriously really love the colors. The application is smooth and thick. I do build it up a little, but it isn't necessary. The staying power is extreme (my gold lasted from one early morning until the the next morning at a sweaty midnight release party lol). They really do carry out what they promise. Each of these finely chosen colors pop my eyes to the extreme. I really favor this as a daily eye shadow pack. I only wish the pans were deeper!

Eye Shadow -Hard Candy - Split Personality duo
Bassmastadroog 9/15/2010 6:04:00 PM
Nope. Definitely not a Hard Candy product that I see worth it. Actually, the makeup to begin with is sort of an overlooked product anyway, nothing particularly interesting about it. However, I decided to give it a try. The issue here is the application as well as the pigmentation. I didn't get this particular duo, (I got dazed, a steel and purple) and this was the scenario. I opened the package and the taping around one of the colors peeled off. Nice. Then I proceeded to apply on my eyelids and I practically had to claw at my skin to get the first bit of color out. When I realized I actually was applying the makeup I came to the conclusion that when they meant "purple" I guess they were going for a more transparent fleshy color, because that is all I saw. I have given it a few more tries but sadly I cannot squeeze out use from the $6 tube.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Megaliner Liquid Eyeliner- Turquoise
Bassmastadroog 9/15/2010 5:55:00 PM
I am very pleased with this product! The color is sheer, opaque and beautiful, and it stays on like a stain. I don't use eye primer so I guess it is a plus that it is unnecessary to have some under this particular liner. I use this liner when I want to have an interesting and edgy color, and I usually bring it out with a wing. This creates a look that needs nothing but mascara to add! I haven't tried the other colors in this line, but I can say that for this and the $1 or $2 I paid for it, I would buy it again. The only issue I have is that it comes in such small of a bottle, but with the price you pay it evens out.
