Cleansers -Purpose - Gentle Cleansing Wash

I have been using this for about 2 years now. I have slightly oily skin that isn't really prone to dryness, and I only breakout around my period. However, I use this pretty much all the time unless I'm on a mission trip or camping or I forgot it at my house. It makes my complexion pretty much flawless and my skin is just healthy. I would change the packaging because I'm not really a fan of pumps due to the fact that you cannot recycle them.. which may cause me to stop buying this one day, but the product inside is beautiful. It's so gentle and doesn't have any soap in it, so I'm not at fear that my facial skin is going to dry out or that my eyes are going to burn whenever I remove my eye makeup with it. THIS IS VERY GOOD AT REMOVING EYE MAKEUP. It comes off very easily and doesn't irritate eyes. I've also used this to clean my makeup brushes and it gets everything out. Very gentle, I look forward to ouryears to come. Peace. John 3:16

Cleansers -Kinerase - Gentle Daily Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
Banana_Babe 7/24/2010 10:24:00 AM

This product reminds me very much of a basic drugstore cleanser such as Purpose or Cetaphil.. just a bit stronger and more effective at removing skin irritations. I have been using Purpose by Johnson&Johnson for years, and it really has been my HG cleanser. However, whenever I breakout around the time of my period.. Purpose doesn't treat the breakout well, but this product does. By following the instructions on the Kinearse bottle which instructs to massage 3 pumps of product over face in 3 minutes, my breakouts are reduced almost instantly. My skin really does feel clean. I wouldn't use this all the time because it's pricey, and I'm a student, But I definitely use this once a week per month.

Styling Products -Pantene - Volumizing Hairspray
rated 4 of 5
Banana_Babe 7/14/2007 12:51:00 PM

It's good for volume, not really hairspray. It's easy to use obviously, since all I do is take a section of hair and hold it upward, spray this at the root, wait a few seconds and release. I repeat this process for the upper layers of my hair to give them some lift because my hair normally falls flat. last power isn't so great when used alone, but I'm sure it would be better if a hot blow drier was used to seal in the hairspray or if you used a different hairspray meant to hold hairstyles afterward. I'm pretty sure there are better, and more expensive, products out there that do the job I want with better quality though.

Shampoo -Back to Basics - Sunflower moisture infusing shampoo

I was in Marshalls the other day, looking at all the hair stuff because you can find some really cheap brand name cosmetics in there. Well, I'm a fan of vegan shampoos and last time i was in there they had one that I wanted to try, but I was short on cash at the time, so I wanted to see if they still had it. It wasn't there, so I looked at the other stuff that was there. They had some of this and it smelled good, a little too good. It was acutally on clearance for three dollars, (am I the only one that finds it fascinating that Marshalls which is kind of like a clearance version of a department store has clearance items?) anyway it was from 2000, and that's fine with me and all so I got it. I didn't get any matching conditioners or anything because I didn't see the need, and there was none anyway. So I started using this with some Aussie Moist conditioner and well it works. My hair never had some sort of crisis or anything, and it was already pretty healthy, so this didn't really improve it, but it makes it smell really good and all so yea it's all good.

Don't you just love love love when you find cosmetics on the outskirts of your cabinets when you're bored? Kinda what happened with this. Okay so my skin is allergic to some of the weirdest stuff such as the coating that covers wood on clarinet reeds and zinc from anything metal, and other stuff and i'm always stuck with scars[not that i mind actually],,, welll, i get irritations on below my lower lip due to my wood allergy, and this stuff cleans it up. It makes the skin there start peeling, to the point where the irritation is gone and I'm just left with a I guess you could say--scarlike thing? Anyway I love this, it heals, i t moisturizes, it just makes my life all the more joyous !! .

Powder -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Pressed Powder

Me and this product, well we just have this weird relationship. First of all, I don't even remember buying this. I just found it all brand new in one of my drawers, so I was like, hey free makeup, why not? Well first of all, I'm tan, and the shade i have this in well isn't. So, it kinda sucks. And the little poof thing in it, well it's stupid because it goes on all overly powderly if you use it. So I usually just use my fingers when I do use this. I either use it in the help of covering whatever I need to cover. But I cooly found that I can use this to conceal my undereye dark circles if i wet this (with water) and well put it on the undereye circle. It's i'ight,,and i'm not wasting it so ima use it up. peaco.

Shampoo -Pantene - Moisture Renewal Shampoo

You people are full of crap. Well some of you, not all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product. You really think that if there were some dangerous, horrible chemicals/ingredients, that this stuff would be allowed to be sold ont he market? Many people I've noticed, not all, WANT to hate Pantene. They hate it before they even buy it so they're so focused on hating it, they won't mention the fact that they may not have followed the directions on the bottle, or they didn't rinse their hair out enough afterwards, or whatever. How do I know for a fact that people do this? I did it, myself at one point. My stylist told me that so many stylists will tell people to avoid certain products ecause of the fact that they're cheaper than their salon products, and they just want your money. Well I actually did buy the Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner, and they work beautifully. I get many, many compliments on the way my hair looks. It may leave buildup after long usage, just clarify. If you have nothing nice to say about Pantene, rather than rave negatively about it on so many other shampoo product reviews and boards, just keep your mouth shut, and let the people who have no issues with this product do so and enjoy their usage in peace without all of your crap.

Fragrances -Escada - Rockin' Rio

I've always loved this fragrance. Ever since in like Jaunuary of 2005 when I got a sample of it from Dillards. I loved it, but it was just too expensive for my tastes. Well one fine day I was in Marshalls, and I found the 1.7 ounce [which is a really nice size] bottle of this for only, get this $16.99!!!!! I bought every botle they had [ which is about 6-7 ]. I don't use this every day, I only wear it on special occasions, or when I just want to smell wonderful, so I still have a small bit left in my first bottle. Greatest smell, ever.

Shampoo -Suave - Tropical Coconut Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/28/2006 11:52:00 AM

Ok, so my hair must have some kind of unhumanlike characteristic to it, because EVERYTHING that I use works the same on my hair, and my hair stays the spitting image of hair health. Everything from 28 dollar Kerastase to 96 cents Suave, which is a good thing by the way. This stuff just smells so good, it's ridiculous. The smell reminds me of Nexxus Humestrus[sp?] I find. So it didn't ruin my hair, made it look good, smells wonderful, and I paid less than two dollars for both the shampoo and the conditioner. Wow, I think I like this.

Bath Treatments -Bath and Body Works - Bubble Bath
rated 5 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/25/2006 7:35:00 PM

Mmkay, So I really love bubble baths, and I really love Magnolia Blossom, and I really love rubber duckies. Well a few fine days ago, I visited my local Bath and Body Works store, where a big sale was being held. There was this package with Bath and Body Works Magnolia Blossom, and a free Rubber Duckie, that probably wasn't even free, they probably just told me it was. But that is besides the point. I receieved this today for Christmas and I was totally happy. I don't feel liek reviewing any more. I may update to further share my experience, but only if I'm in the mood I suppose. The wonderful Jesus Christ, our Savior, loves you, and Merry Christmas !!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU !!! YES I AM A CHRISTIAN AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO!

Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
rated 3 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/25/2006 7:29:00 PM

I never wear this, ever, but I have and I'm going to share my experience, mmkay? It has a really faunky smell to it. Yes, a 'faunky' smell. Faunky is about the best adjective I can get at in which describes it just wonderfully. Too much comes out of the little pump thing and it ends up drying and shriveling up on the nozzle of the pump afterwards. Since there is a lot in my hand, and since I paid a good 8 dollars for this [ yes I am a cheapo, I'm probably more than have of you age ], I'm not into wasting this. So I put it on my face, and for one thing, it's thick, and makes me oily. But if I use less, it would get wasted and all shriveled up the like the product left on the end of the nozzle. So, basically maybe if their nozzle wasn't all discumbobulated[look it up], maybe I wouldn't have this issue with too much coming out, and shriveling up, and maybe it'd be worth the full eight dollars. Blehh, eh? But I have to say, that I particularly like the SPF this crap contains. Nice bronze color. I've hoped you've enjoyed this, Peace and GOVEG!!!

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
rated 4 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/25/2006 7:23:00 PM

I like this, when I acutally wear makeup which isn't often, I usually wear mascara. Well, my mascara's waterproof, and after I shower and try to get it off with water, it stays on, and it just looks like I put on some eyeliner on my lower eye. Though strangely enough, I have gotten compliments on that smudged eyeliner look, I prefer that it wasn't there. So I got sick of it, and dug through the cabinet and found this stuff that apparently came in like a gift set or something. So I put a bit on a q-tip and rubbed my lashes with it. Wow, there was a lot of black stuff on that q-tip. It got everything off, but I had to really rinse my eye out after, because it burned. It didn't burn to bad after, but I can still feel the burn this moment actually, which isn't too pleasant, being that it is Christmas, Merry Christmas and God Bless you by the way, and all. I took a lippie off because of the burn, but other than that, psh I like what see.

Cleansers -Biore - Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/16/2006 10:51:00 PM

I stopped using this recently , and man I broke out. What I consider a breakout may not live up to the standards of other peoples' breakouts, but I rarely get belmishes. I got off of this, basically because I ran out, and used a Clearisil cleaser which worked fine, no problems. Then I needed face wash, and got some Clean and Clear stuff, basically because it was cheaper. And I broke out, blemishes everywhere and much more than usual. So I got some more of this today, along with some Biore Deep Cleansing strips and the strips already helped heal the chin area, and so hopefully this combined with other treatments will help heal my face. Has a nice tingle to it, and smells nice.

Shampoo -Clairol - Totally Twisted Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
Banana_Babe 12/10/2006 8:53:00 PM

I love this shampoo !!! It just smells so freaking GOOOOOD!!! Most drugstore shampoos give me the sames results, as does this one [ which is a good thing ], so the main reason I would rebuy htis is because of the SMELL !! I don't even have "totally twisted" hair, so I can't comment on how it works on that hair type, but I just love the SMELL !!!
