Other -Crest - 3D Professional Effects White Strips
BananaPanic 9/20/2012 12:25:00 AM
So I've used these several times (though not necessarily complete treatments each time) and every time had a wonderful experience. I just bought them recently though for a pageant and I'm down to my last strip (which is tomorrow). My teeth look so white! My goal is always to have them as white as the white in my eyes (ridiculous I know) or close, and they are. You will notice a difference after the first two days. I really suggest you sticking with the instructions, because before when I used them it didn't work as well spacing each strip every few days. Not sure why but just do it. But the reason before why I didn't use it every day is because of the sensitivity. I wouldn't even call it sensitivity, I'd call it pain. For some it's not so bad. For me it's really bad. I can barely drink anything hot or cold without using a straw. It just hurts, man. I've even waked up in the middle of the night with it hurting. But what hurts me even more is that I wear clear, plastic retainers every night, and the plastic constantly pressing against my teeth hurts. But as soon as you stop the treatment, the pain goes away. I've also noticed that the farther a part each time you use the kit is, the less pain you'll experience. So like if you do it once and do it again six months later, it'll hurt worse. Also you might have little white dots that are whiter than your teeth, like one or two, but they go away as well, as stated in the instructions. Now I've had a lot of friends to get professional whitening. But somehow, their teeth are not as white as mine. This might also be because I brush like a fiend, but I'm just sayin'. To keep your smile SUPER white, I suggest doing this maybe once every year or two. I haven't done it in three years and I still got comments on how white my teeth were, but I'm a perfectionist. I've tried the mouthwash and toothpaste as well and they help. They also have a 3D white toothbrush, but honestly I don't see how that can make your teeth any whiter. *marketing scheme* But mainly just keep your teeth clean to keep up with your now beautiful smile. Oh yeah, the price sucks, but it's worth it if you want a beautiful smile. As a matter of fact, I wish a whole lot more people would do this. I hate it when teeth aren't white. And most people's teeth aren't. It's just disgusting to me. Especially when buying this thing and using it is so easy. PLEASE people, buy this kit and do it and you will save people being disgusted at you. Anyway, back to the price, I love couponing so here's the deal I cooked up: this product is usually $45 at cheap stores like Walmart, well at the pharmacy I work at it's normally $40. But this month it was on sale for $35. Since I work there I get a 15% discount, making it $30. Also this month you can get a mail in rebate on their site and save $10, making it now $20. Since it came with a 7 dollar coupon, I'll be purchasing another kit this month all in all for $14 dollars (usually around $50). And I was also hoping to have a coupon from the weekly paper, but one never showed up. Even though I don't need the kit now, I'll need it someday. Great product though. HG despite the pain. EDIT: ok, if you plan on doing this, do NOT go to the dentist afterwards. I thought, oh, I'll schedule my next dentist appointment right after I get my teeth whitened, so DOUBLE WHAMMY my teeth are as white as antarctica in the winter! They are that white, but however, it HURT LIKE CRAZY. As soon as I stopped using the strips about five days ago the pain all went away instantly. But today I had to go to the dentist, and it was awful. SO painful. Right up there with braces pain. If not worse. Also my mouth bled a whole lot more than usual, not sure if that had to do with anything but it was a bit alarming to me. Now tonight, since I'm having to wear my retainers, they still HURT LIKE CRAP. What a stupid I've been. Hopefully this will go away but I feel like it won't go away till I can take a break from my retainers. Ugh.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Exact Eyelights
BananaPanic 5/20/2012 9:38:00 PM
Oh my. Me and exact eyelights... we've had a time. This used to be my hg, you see. Back when I was so naive, so young. I used this for years. I for some reason loved it. But I went through my own horrible mascara stages, of when I would wear TONS and it looked like spider legs... yeah. I've obviously had my own mascara issues. But coming back to this product now after using Maybelline's Full n Soft mascara for a while, I realize how cruddy this stuff is. Honestly, it's better than a lot of mascaras, but it's not as good as full n soft (my new hg). It's ok. My favorite thing about this mascara is (for the waterproof one) its waterproofing qualities. Man, I've never seen a more waterproof mascara. I could go swimming and it'll still be there, basically the same. Also, this stuff flakes a little. Eh. It's just so meh. And kinda expensive.

Cleansers -Aqua Glycolic - Facial Cleanser
BananaPanic 4/15/2012 6:00:00 PM
For starters, my skin type is this: dry in all areas but the t-zone, where I break out, but not a whole lot. This stuff is just great. Right after just the first use my skin looked way better. I kept using it and kept using it and the more I used it the better my skin got. Now I've had perfect skin for months (which I totally take for granted by the way - I almost forget what it's like to even look at a pimple). Although I do break out a leeeetle bit only sometimes during PMS. So you're supposed to put this stuff on raw, dry skin, which at first I thought to be quite strange. So I didn't do this at first, and I didn't reap the full benefits of this product until I no longer wet my skin. But, the fact is, I think it contains some type of water stuff in it so water isn't really necessary for some reason. It's strange, I can't figure out why it's like that, it just is. Then you're supposed to massage it. I used to massage it for a long time and kinda leave it on there for five minutes, but that's not the way it works. Just slap it on your skin, kinda rub it around, and rinse off. No big deal. That's what worked best for me anyways. It leaves your skin feeling soft, clean, just amazing. It's SO gentle, that whenever you feel your skin just a bit dirty, don't feel bad about using it. It's just that great. With the harsher acne treatments I was scared to wash my skin more than twice a day with it, so if I worked out or something I wasn't quite sure what to do. But this stuff is so gentle and amazing, it don' matta. This is really a miracle product. Sadly enough, there is a catch. It's impossibly hard to find. Usually I have to order it through some pharmacy. And if you order it at Rite Aid, you might get the runaround, because they hold it in the PHARMACY area. Weird right? Also, it's a bit expensive if you do have to order it. $30! Insane. If they happen to have it though, only $15, which is reasonable. Also, it says it's from Greensboro, NC, which is a tad concerning, because I live in the Triad, so I'm not entirely sure if you can buy it or even hear of it if you don't live here in NC with these local dermotologists. Personally, I heard it from a friend who had adult acne her entire life until her derm suggested this, along with the toner and moisturizer, and now it's all gone for good. This is really quite a product. Especially for someone with dry skin!!!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Cream
BananaPanic 3/30/2011 12:26:00 PM
wow. everyone rated this product so highly. well, sorry to burst your bubbles, but here goes. So my sister has acne, and she went to the dermatologist. they gave her a tiny tube of this stuff to sample and suggested it. she didn't care for it much, so i used it, and after having using clean 'n clear's moisturizer for skin with acne (it has like, .5% of salycillic acid or something like that? which by the way... in a MOISTURIZER, you're not really looking for acid that DRIES your skin... dummies) that was ok. this stuff was like a breath of fresh air. wonderful wonderful. i was so confident in this potion that i went out and bought the huge 16 oz (isn't that right?) tub of it for 15 dollars that'll probably last until i graduate high school. but, it's golden days came to a close. let me explain. first of all, my skin type is kinda dry with the occasional pimples, because c'mon, i'm a teenager. i have pretty good skin. i definately need a moisturizer, however, or i would die. this is almost perfect. almost. my regime is exfoliating my skin with aveeno's clear complexion cream cleanser (which has 2% salicylic acid), then slapping this baby all over right before bed (that sounded gross, but i actually don't use very much). my skin is instantly hydrated. the next morning i use aveeno's clear complexion foaming cleanser (.5 salicylic acid), and i DO NOT use moisturizer. here's where it gets complicated and dissapointing. it hydrates and moisturizes, sure, i guess, but there's a catch. true, my skin doesn't peel or crack or feel tight (phew - no more dryness!), BUT this stuff leaves you feeling gross and greasy. actually, as a matter a fact, since i have insomnia i'm up many a nights, and one night i scratched my forehead and EW, whad'ya know, it's shiney and oily and greasy and there's actually shiny grease on my fingers from simply touching my face. i think this stuff does get deep down in your skin somewhat, but a lot of it stays on the surface. but fear not, ye with oily skin. i don't think this stuff clogs pores or creates acne in any way. it just kinda sits there on top of your skin... chillin'. GROSS. EW. i avoid at all cost touching my face at night, honestly. but the less you put on of this stuff (and trust me - a little goes a looong way!), the better off the gross oiliness is. just a tip. and it seems like the deeper moisturizing that happens is gonna be the same no matter if you put a lot on or a little. now, i'm not sure if i actually would buy this product again. i will, however, use it until it's all gone, cause i paid a lot for it (stupid me: trusting a product wholeheartedly), but it's definately not a keeper and DEFINATELY not an HG. sorry. years from now, since like i said, i don't use that much of this (and neither should you!), it'll probably be a long time. so. try it out, though, you might love it. everyone's different!

Eyeliner -Jordana - Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen
BananaPanic 3/26/2011 4:45:00 PM
k. this stuff I had super high hopes for. The name was attractive, the packaging was cool, (for eyeliner, I guess...) but the actual product was iffy. let me explain. this stuff is super cheap. like, it was maybe around 2 bucks at walgreens, which made my day, considering i'm used to buying 8 dollar eye liner. Since this stuff is so simple this review is probably gonna be pretty short. a major problem I had with the packaging (which is why I gave it a 4 instead of 5) is that if you're not careful, you could accidentally not put the cap on enough and it can dry out. and it's kinda hard to tell whether or not it's actually on enough, too, which makes everything more difficult. k. the application of this stuff is INCREDIBLE. which is the main reason why I bought it. It used to take me FOREVER to put on the regular ol' twistable eye liner, cause I'd use an eyeliner brush (actually a pain brush that I MADE into an eyeliner brush... muaha), and apply it little bit by little bit. but this stuff you just draw on easy peasy in like, 30 seconds. COOL BEANS. However, after you have it on, you gotta wait a long time for it to dry before you put on your mascara, cause it'll go all over the place. It moves so easily and won't stay in the same place by the end of the day. All in all this stuff is good, kind of. I'm definately not gonna stick with it forever. But with what you get verses what you pay for, it's a good buy.

For starters, I didn't rate the price or packaging quality because I used AcneFree's version of this, but apparently AcneFree isn't on makeupalley for some reason... but I figured this is basically the same thing. If it's not, however, don't listen to this review. It means nothing to you. Ok, well, it has a 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is PURTY DANG HIGH, I must say. Such a high percentage makes it hurt like the devil, and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. It might mean that it's getting rid of it or something, heck do I know. This stuff is pretty addicting to use. You put it on, OUCH it hurts, but psychologically to you that's a good thing, 'cause you think it's getting rid of your pimples. And it is. It freakin' COMPLETELY dries them out. But see, my pimples at least, have life stages, and I only put this on them when they're at their climax, when they hurt/are ugly the most before they dry up and go away (I don't pop my pimples which by the way helps a bunch!). I put it on after I moisturize my face at night or when I have a gross ugly pimple and want it to go awayyy. But once you use it it kinda stops working after a few hours, though is still there, and you feel like you must put MORE on. It's a never ending cycle. Also, note, I have pretty good skin. Not oily, a little dry, I'm just a teenager with the few occasional pimples. Now, lemme tell ya, this stuff works, but it's useless on already disappearing pimples/scars/black heads. Gotta get the timing right for some reason. Also, and since this is super important, basically it helps THE pimple, but not my face as a whole. Because if it's not ONLY on a pimple and not on any other square patch of skin, it will break you out because of how drying it is. You have to make sure it's just on the pimple and not the skin around it, otherwise it's the equivalent of popping it (oh dear!) which it then is replaced by 1-3 more pimples. I probably would never use this stuff if it wasn't so addicting.

Lip Treatments -Neosporin - Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy Suncreen SPF 20
BananaPanic 3/6/2011 1:09:00 PM
If this is EVER discontinued, I have no idea what I'm going to do. This has saved me from extremely horrible, cracked, disgustingly dry lips that I've had my entire life. I've tried everything. Literally everything. Burt's Bees, EVERY kind of chapstick, lip balm, Nivea, and the list goes on and on and on. I was constantly searching for the latest and greatest thing that might work, but no, nothing did. And if it did work, I was constantly applying it. My lips were so bad that if I didn't use some kind of chapstick constantly or licked my lips, when I smiled almost every time my lips would crack and bleed. Yes, folks, smiling made my lips bleed. I've had dry lips ever since I was really young, and my lips were always peeling and the other little kids I played with always asked about them. It was so embarrasing! So, this stuff is a fantastic, miracle product that has saved me from years of discomfort and pain. It goes on white and is instantly hydrating. I'm not sure if there are instructions (heck, why would LIP BALM need instructions?) but I suggest applying it before you go to bed and before you leave your house to start your day, like moisturizer. I used to have to apply it around three times a day (which was amazing considering my past history with chapstick!), but now I maybe apply it once before bed, and sometimes before I leave. ONCE A DAY. You gettin' this? I've suffered from CHRONIC LIP DRYNESS for years. Once. A day. If your lips are super peely, use an old toothbrush with some vasseline on it to exfoliate the dead skin. THEN put this baby on to treat your dryness, and your lips will never peel again if you continue to use this stuff continually, and gradually use less and less, because your lips have now been TREATED! Plus, this gives a little glossy look to your lips that's great as well. I have pretty big lips, so I can't use anything past a glossy, uncolored look. PLUS it's SPF 15 which is great as well because my lips DO get sunburned. How well this stuff works for people without chronic lip dryness I do not know. It's probably fine. But if you suffer from it, look no more. Miracle product to the rescue. I'm sure I'll be using this stuff till the end of time!

Lip Treatments -Bonne Bell - lip smacker 100% natural
BananaPanic 1/8/2011 9:43:00 PM
I was soooo excited for this product, I thought all my dreams had come true. But I was dead wrong. So I got the vanilla kind 'cause the others seemed gross. Unfortunately it was gonna be gross anyway. It had everything that's good for your lips all in one package... olive oil, beeswax, aloe and vitamin E, etc etc etc. Sounds AMAZING, right? All natural? You've got to be kidding me! My EXTREME dryness for my lips is now cured! Say goodbye to the dead skin! Unfortunately none of this was true at all. I mean, I guess it works, if you KEEP APPLYING IT EVERY MINUTE. But who wants that? How inconvenient. My hopes were dashed. Not only did you have to apply it allll the time, but I have to wear a plastic retainer on my teeth at all times and it got all over it. So if you wear any type of braces or retainers be warned. This stuff is your worst nightmare. It got all over my retainer and STAYED there until I painstakingly scrubbed it off. Yuck. Every time I put it on (which was a lot) I had to take my gross retainer out. Who wants that? Now for most of you this will be of no concern. But, to the normal people, even still this thing is gross. All slimy and it feels like it has little beads of... I don't know what all in it. Makes my huge lips look like two slugs on my face. Attractive? I think not! The feeling of this stuff is indescribable. Just disgusting. Like almost watery, but not. Solid enough to be really gross. Now I guess it did help my lips. But it gets all in your mouth and tastes as horrible as it feels. Plus you often have to apply it. Not for me. But remember, I have EXTREMELY (I shout again) dry lips. Like chronic dry lips. I may go to the doctor eventually, cause there is no hope in sight. Sight.

Lip Treatments -Nivea - A Kiss of Moisture
BananaPanic 1/8/2011 9:31:00 PM
Well... lemme start with I have extremely dry lips. Like extremely. If I haven't put on lip balm, MOISTURIZING lip balm that day, if I sneeze my lips will bleed. No joke. So I have tried it all. Now, I kinda had high hopes for this cause of the packaging (it's my favorite color! hello?), and apparently that's all I was focusing on, because the advertisements for this Nivea stuff are so sexual and "attractive" (and degrading to women, thanks...) how could I ever put faith in such a product to help my ever-drying lips? Well maybe this is a good product folks. But I know for sure that it's not good enough for the extremities I need. So if you're like me, read on. If you need a simple lip balm with some added moisture, this puppy's for you. This stuff is so weak. It lasts for the first minute. That's how long it relieves. Now, not only do I have super dry lips, but they're... pretty big. (not in a gross way! please! I'm VERY thankful for them!) I never ever ever EVER could get away with wearing anything more than a balm, not even a gloss. Talk about taking over my face. But this stuff was subtle enough and made my lips only a little shiney and nice and healthy looking. So hats off to that. Very pleasant looking. ... minus the huge DEAD SKIN ALL OVER THEM. gross. and that's what happens when you use weak stuff like this. doesn't do anything for me but makes them look nice, until they start to peal. Ugly. Thanks, but no thanks. Instead of calling this "A Kiss of Moisture" they should call it "A Kiss of Sexiness" or something, cause that's what their advertisements imply, and that's all it will ever do for you.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser
BananaPanic 11/28/2010 5:27:00 PM
This is a pretty good cleanser. But it's truly difficult to rate and review cleansers 'cause everyone's skin is so so so different and what is wonderful to one person might make another person break out. So. But here's just my opinion. It's good. It's pretty gentle and makes my skin feel smooooth. Sadly, around my time of the month I break out and this does nothing to stop that. Or maybe it does. Maybe it would be a lot worse if I didn't use it. But still. I have pretty normal skin for someone being 15, maybe even above average. I usually have like one or two small, unoticable and easily covered pimples, but once in a while BAM a breakout occurs. This is no help, as far as I know. I use this when I wake up and go to bed. It cleans well. It is fun to use, actually, and when it's all over my face I feel like santa claus (: Packaging is fine and dandy. Not much to say there. Smells greaaaat! Though some people might not like the smell, it smells clean and fresh to me. Just remember I have pretty good skin to begin with and only need a simple cleanser so this works best for me. Doesn't leave any film or anything, comes right off and is just simple and fun. Clenases and balances my skin's tone as well. Kinda pricey for drug store stuff, but oh well.

Concealers -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy Concealer
BananaPanic 11/21/2010 8:24:00 PM
Well well well, if it isn't the "very sexy" concealer. Hmmm. I got some strong words for you, boy. This is pretty bad. I got the lightest one. I went into Victoria's Secret several times trying it, and thought it was greaaat each time. Here's the deal. You go in, look at the makeup, look at YOURSELF in the horrible lighting (I think this is allll planned) and you're like "oo! VS can help me!" you try their crap, and it's wonderful. You fall for it hook, line, and sinker. I bought it. Went home. Put it on. Yellow as everything. It was awful. I thought it could work. I tried and tried to make it work, because I was so sold out on the VS models looking the way they do that I just knew it could work. Well, they OBVIOUSLY are photoshopped and OBVIOUSLY don't wear this crap in a bottle. Also, it stung like crazy for some reason. Maybe I'm allergic to something in it. But it hurt. Goodbye and good ridence you thorn in my side.

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer
BananaPanic 11/2/2010 10:05:00 PM
I've been using this concealer for a while. Let me start out by saying, this is pretty good stuff. I have dark under eye circles that are hereditary. They've always been there and always will be. So I'm always looking for a new great concealer. I've been through SO many different concealers, you have no idea. Searching, and searching, and searching... well, search no more for you dark-circled people. I get the fair/light shade for 1-2-3 shades for the foundation in the undertone of neutral. I've tried all the other undertones, 'cause honestly I have no clue what I am, and this not only worked best for me, but I can tell ya right now is the absolute lightest shade for this entire product line of concealers. So I'm pretty light skinned. I do NOT use this for covering up blemishes and other unwanted rift raft on my face. It's wayyy too dark and orangy. Though once, a long, long time ago in a faraway land, I had a tan. *gasp* and this concealer was absolutely perfect and my beeest fraaaan. So you people who don't look like ghost, give this a shot all over your face and see if it works. Nowadays that I never see the light of day, it's a different story. I use this other fantastic concealer by Cover Girl called Fresh Complextion for what's on my face. *check out my other review on it - thanks ;)* This product, however, I use ONLY on my under eye circles, since for some reason it covers the dark purple/grayness of it. BUT, now listen here, fellas, there's a lot of stuff that goes on with my under eye concealing. Let me tell you the steps to understand it better. I use a primer. Well, not an actual official primer, but this great stuff by Monistat (tee hee - it's not what you think it is) called Chafing Relief Powder-Gel. You crazy makeup people might have heard of it. It has the same ingredients as primer and is super cheap and just... a miracle. So I use that. Wait. Put a few drops of this True Match stuff on and pat it in with an absolutely divine concealer brush that I haven't the faintest idea of what it's called. But, but but but, ONLY in the darkest corners of my circles. For some reason, on the outer parts, it turns orange reaaaal fast. So then on the other parts that it turns orange on, I use the CG stuff. So. This is good stuff. Great coverage. Fine packaging. Only thing is it's a bit too dark for further use but it does its job well. I have it with me basically always 'cause it's super for touch ups. Enjoy this wonderful product of gold!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
BananaPanic 10/31/2010 7:57:00 PM
Well, well, well... this was quite the little surprise for me. As most of the time, when I'm determined to buy a product, whadd'ya know, Rite Aid is having some kinda crazy sale goin' on and I absolutely MUST buy something else. And that is exactly what I did with this product. Bought on a whim, no research done or anything. I've never even heard of the line! So. Before I go into detail, let me explain, the reason I give it four lippies instead of five is because I know nothing is perfect and this, in fact, has its flaws. Now listen to me here. I used to use that stuff from New York Color... the smooth skin thingy? Yeah. It was pretty good for a while. But the only reason I even need powder (I don't wear foundation) is 'cause of the oiliness around/on my nose (gasp). And just to make my skin look flawless. Well the powder from NYC everyone loved, and it was fine, you know, though I used to be so blind as to call it "heavenly powder". But, however, my oiliness came, though not as bad as it would've been, eventually during the day. Maybe even by second period. It also looked cakey. THIS lil' baby, on the other hand, is everything I need and more. It's written all over its face. Baby, I can see its halo... It isn't cakey. It makes my skin smooth as silk. It KEEPS THE OIL AWAY ALL DAY. Unless it's a super hot day, then all I need is a little touch up of this and it's gone for good. Matches my skin tone. LET ME REPEAT. MATCHES. MY. SKIN TONE. I'm a bit pale. Though not as pale as some of my friends (Bethany, I know you're reading this), but still it's difficult finding stuff that works. It is a bit darker than needed, but it's not a big deal. It matches just fine and dandy. Wish they made it a tad lighter, but it's just great anyways. Don't wanna look ghostly. The packaging is also a plus. Although I've heard some complaints about the mirror, and the puff, of course, as usual with puffs that come with powders, belongs in the trash. I love the mirror myself. It's small enough for touch ups and isn't in the same compartment with the powder so it doesn't get all messy and unusable. It hasn't broken yet (which usually by now, most of the compacts I do get break. What can I say, I have a hectic life), and it looks like it never will. Hoorah hoorah hoorah. Though I don't suggest playing football with it, you can basically throw it around as much as you want in your bag. What else is there to say? It's divine. Use it every day. And will continue to use it until it's (dun dun dun dunnnn, the horrid word that makes my skin crawl) discontinued. Pretty cheap too. Though not made for SUPER light people or dark people. Sowwie.

Concealers -Cover Girl - fresh complexion concealer
BananaPanic 10/26/2010 11:53:00 PM
Oh gosh. This is amazing. This is THE stuff. I actually got this on a whim, cause I had buy one get one 50% off kinda deal at Rite Aid... but I really hit the jack pot, even though the stuff I originally wanted to buy was awful, this is amazing. I got super lucky. This hides all blemishes and makes my skin look... well... fresh! Perfect! Wonderful! People actually tell me that they're jealous of my "perfect" skin when deep down, this is my secret. Muahaha. It's coverage is divine. It lasts all day and then some. It doesn't clog pores. It's MY SKIN TONE (hoorah! I use the lightest one, of course). It goes on easy peasy and feels juuuust fine. I hate the feeling of all makeup, and if it doesn't feel like basically my own skin, I won't wear it. I just can't praise this product enough. However. Here is the catch (dun dun dun duuuuun). Though it's not too big a deal, don't get upset. It doesn't work for under eye circles. Now I inherited (all in the genes peopl, no tomatoes or cucumbers or drinking 8 cups of water a day will help) dark circles. They're worse than most. So it's super important for me, and for some reason it's different than all the other areas on my skin, I think it has to do with the oil produced there or something (glad there's such thing as primer!). So a HECKUVA lot of concealers don't work for either the skin or the circles. I've tried hundreds... literally... of concealers for my circles. Anyway. Instead of using this number, I just use L'Oreal's True Match (in the lightest tone - teehee) for the darkest corner of under my eye, and since it does go away around the edges, and has an orange tint around that area, I just slap some of this puppy on and it looks marvelous. Makes it all blend in. Doesn't crease (unlike the L'Oreal stuff!). I just can't sing it's praises enough. If this product is ever discontinued, we all shall feel the loss (well... whoever uses it). I've already gone through tubes of this stuff. COVER GIRL, HEAR ME NOW, if it IS discontinued, we all will martch down to your main office, and burn it down. No. Not really. NOT REALLY. Haha. But I will be sorely disappointed. Ahhh. What a day that will be.

Ok... I have been using this product for quite some time, but I haven't reviewd it, because of HOW EMBARRASING IT IS. Buying it is awful. Anyone who sees it on my nightstand is just terribly embarrasing. I haven't reviewd it because some of my friends are mua friends and read my reviews. But oh well. They'll now know. This is a great product. It can be your beeeest friend for those heavy sweaters. HOWEVER, however, however, however, if you don't use it right, it can be your worst nightmare and cause many nights of no sleep. Let me explain. Before I explain that, first, I'll tell you how wonderful the product is. Ever since puberty, I've... had issues with underarm wetness. Even when I'm not embarrased or nothing stressful in the least, or when it's hot! Just a normal, fun day and my pits will be soaked. Awful for clothes. Awful for everyone and everything. There was no escaping. Not even the "clinical stregnth" worked forever. I got on makeupalley (thank you Lord), found this lil' baby, it has worked WONDERS. I'm a music performer and even when I do my very worst on stage, where usually my pits would be a waterfall, my clothes and I are as dry as desert sand. Though, this product WILL NOT WORK if you don't put it EVERYWHERE on your armpit. Don't listen to the instructions that say "two strokes" is usually enough (for the roll-on). Gotta put it everywhere. Now. Here is the horrific part of this. There are specific instructions to this product. I, for one, think they need to tell them more sternly. They tell you to not use this after you take a shower, and it's because this product CLOSES your pores so that you won't sweat. Now, hot water, from the shower, will OPEN them. An extremely painful experience, for some reason, because I think this product is so extreme. Also, shaving is a big one too. I, stupidly enough, did both once. And. It absolutely ruined my day. Sooooo painful. Another thing which they don't even mention is the itchiness if you put too much on. It says to put it on before bed, which is very much correct, and works for me cause I take a shower in the morning anyway. Now, what I have learned is that if you don't put it everywhere, that little spot that you missed will sweat, if you're like me. So i usually put it on all over (what I call a coat, like with mascara), just as I ready for bed, put my hands behind my head, look at the ceiling and wait. Then, after it's dried, I put another coat on for security. Yes, this means you'll have to buy more, but it's WAY worth it if you don't gotta wash your shirts always after you wear them, and sheepishly hide your pits forever. I haven't figured out if it's putting too much on, or if it's scratching them. Because sometimes in bed, while I'm falling asleep, my arm pits will be ITCHY like crazy. I scratch, scratch, scratch, scratch, forever, no relief. Sometimes, it feels just like I took a shower before or after I put it on. It hurts. It kept me up the other night. So I think the itching goes away if you ignore it. It says it has 72 hours of protection or whatever, but my advice to you is say you have a performance tomorrow, or whatever, and you're nervous as all get out. You're gonna be sweating gallons. You put this stuff on, two coats, before bed, you're great tomorrow. The next day you have chior performance, just put two strokes, or one coat. Too much and it will drive you bonkers. Plus, it does stay on, so just for reinforcement. The pain and agony I have suffered from this wonder product has made me mark off a lippie. Sorry certain dri. but you have, in all your embarrasment, saved my social life, and have made life SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE. Seriously. No more worries. It does greatly affect your life, having this problem with no solution, so go out, and buy it. I will be buying this product probably for the rest of my life unless I outgrow this monstrosity.
