Medium coverage. Matte makeup, not much oil-control, and sort of hard to blend evenly. Pools into my pores. There are many better makeups than this one.
Natural finish. Easier to blend than the full coverage liquid version. I prefer to use it in a cooler and drier climate.
Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Daily SPF15 Lotion

Expensive and greasy. The old version of Olay Complete day lotion for combination skins is a lot better Thank this one. Will never buy this again.

I like this as a winter moisturizer. It would be a bit heavy for summer.
Liquid -Revlon - Age Defying with DNA Advantage Cream Makeup
Baiju 11/4/2011 3:12:00 PM
This maybe better off for dry skin girls. Dewy finish, light to medium coverage. Somewhat shiny and make the pores more obvious.
Made by Beijing DaBao Cosmetics Co.which was aquired by J&J in 2008, this facial lotion has loads of Ginseng extract in it. The ingredient list is very short, therefore very mild and non-greasy. It makes skin smooth and healthy. Ideal for winter month. Ingredients: SOD (Superoxide Dismutase), Ginseng, Astragalus Root, Glycerin and Silicone.
The product is more like a powdery cream. It goes on smooth, blur away any pores and imperfections. The finish is fairly smooth and matte. It also requires skin being moistranized properly so that the foundation will not cling to any dry patches. The real issue, however is the lasting power. I found this product sinks to pores and fines lines and gets shiny 3-4hrs after applying. I will skip this one.
Liquid -Paula's Choice - All Bases Covered Foundation SPF 25
Baiju 12/28/2010 11:31:00 PM
I do not particularly like this one. It is kind thin and oily. It does not cover well, cling to dry patches, and sink into fine lines whenever possible. I got color "sand" which is too pale (not enough yellow). By the end of the day, my face just looked very odd. My face actually looks a lot younger and healthier without this foundation. A definite No-No. Edit: I tried this again-I exfloiate my face well, used a primer under the foundation, and set it with a finishing powder. The end result is very different. The foundation goes on smoothly, covers well (minor flaws), and lasted for a whole day (winter season. I think this will be heavy for the summer). The foundation somehow reminds me of a lighter version of Revlon's color stay for dry skins. I will not purchase this one again, instead I will go for Color Stay for oily/combination skins (nude shade).
A mousse like cleanser which is more on the oily side. I prefer Neutrogena oil-free cleanser.
Moisturizers -Boots - Botanics Day Moisture Lotion

Heavily perfumed, sticky, just sits on top of the skin and never is absorbed. Not good at all.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Super Antioxidant Concentrate

This is a good product although it is expensive. It is matte and make my skin looks a lot better. I got the oily skin type
Tinted Moisturizer -Paula's Choice - Barely There Sheer Matte Tint SPF 20
Baiju 11/11/2010 8:26:00 PM
This is a good tint for girls with no skin problems. It will not cover any enlarged pores nor any acne scares. And the rest is just wonderful. It lasts a whole day without melting down. Sheer neutral is perfect for my NC20-25 skin.
Pretty good night lotion. It is kind of watery not a cream though. Not greasy and make skin soft and smooth. It is one of those skin lotions that I always go back when I have skin problems. I only use this one in the fall and winter
Liquid -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Serum Absolute Advanced Age-Reversing Makeup
Baiju 9/15/2010 7:52:00 PM
Great packaging. Semi-matte finish (Product contains tiny sparkles). Smooth out skin appearance and tones. Gets shiny and sinks to pores after 3-4 hours. Medium coverage. Nude Beige is a perfect match for my NC20-25 skin. Edit: Revlon color stay beats this one.
Liquid -Paula's Choice - Best Face Forward Foundation SPF 25
Baiju 7/19/2010 10:45:00 AM
I have heard of Paula's product and read her book about 20 years ago. It sounded great however I never tried before. I ordered some of her face makeups about month ago. And I fell love with this foundation. It blends like a dream, goes on light, and covers amazingly. It stars very sheer and is buildble. After blending, the foundation just melt into the skin beautifully and never brings out dry patches on the face. The foundation gives a matte finish and felt very comfortable on the skin. It does not add any oil to my face. On a hot and humid summer day, I would need just one touch-up after lunch. It does not enlarge my pores but to hide them well. I will reorder a full size product (Champange beige is my color). Edit: this one does not last as long as CS from Revlon. It gets oily after 4-5 hours. I definitely need multiple touch-ups in the afternoon. I was turning into a greasy ball without touch-ups. The foundation does give a very nice coverage while gives a very natural finish. But CS from Revlon beat this one for staying power and oil-control. I may try this again in the cooler weather. Edit: come back to this one in the fall when it is a lot cooler. The foundation is just great. No more greasy. It gives a wonderful finish and lasted more than 6 hrs. Works better than Revlon age-defying liquid make-up. Definitely reorder.
