Love. Husband loves it too, he asks me if I'm "running low." Its really a nice sweet smell, perfect for daytime all the time and its nice for summer nights because it doesn't have a thick feeling to it.

Lip Treatments -Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm spf 25
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 9/26/2011 10:00:00 AM

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST lip balm out there. I originally purchased a trio pack of these lip balms from Sephora during the holidays (or they do a duo pack, just depends; also Neiman Marcus carries Jack Black and does free shipping on any order a lot of times). Anyway, I originally purchased these as a stocking stuffer for my husband who is blessed with adorable, large lips, who has been on 2 treatments of Accutane (which can cause permanently dry lips), and just suffers terribly in the winter from dry skin. He NEVER, even in the humid summer months, leaves home without a chapstick. And myself, I always carry it too because I suffer because I was on Accutane too (no regrets tho, Accutane was a miracle). We together were on a QUEST TO FIND THE PERFECT CHAPSTICK. Thats when we found this about 3 years ago and our house is never out of stock! You really only need to apply it twice a day, it's so moisturizing, you apply it in the morning, and at night before bed, and you're good to go. The only time that would require more applications is in the winter, when your indoors with the dry forced heat. That being said, ONE TUBE LASTS A REALLY LONG TIME. I'm pretty sure my husband only uses about 4 tubes of balm a year because I usually buy him 2 trio packs for Christmas and he'll make a comment that he needed to "re-up" soon. Would highly recommend this product for men and women because I love it too. I love Grapefruit Ginger and Vanilla Lavender.

Styling Products -Bumble & Bumble - Thickening Spray
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 8/4/2010 12:52:00 PM

Ok this product DELIVERS. It definitely does what it says. That being said, a little goes a LONG way. Instead of spraying this directly on your hair, spray it in your hands, work through your scalp and to the middle of your hair with a fine comb to make sure the product is evenly distributed. DON'T GET THIS ON THE ENDS OF YOUR HAIR. It will dry it out and make it impossible to brush through. If you have fine hair, or normal hair but not a lot of it, this product is a Godsend. It definitely makes the hair thicker -- it does require some trial and error to find the right amount needed. I love this and use it every day. I actually spray my Big Sexy Hair Root Pump into my roots, then I spray B&B into the middle part of my hair, then BA BOW! I dry my hair with the blowdryer, and the result is hair that is thick and ready to be styled.

Polishes -Rimmel - 60 Seconds in 270 Shocker
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 2/6/2010 12:01:00 PM

I bought this on a whim because I needed a really hot pink for my Jem costume. This polish is great because if you're in a pinch and need to paint your nails fast, this polish covers awesome with just one coat. It's looks nice and shiny and the brush is really nice. It definitely dries quick because I've painted my nails and RAN out the door with no issues. I like it so much that I bought another color {deliciously dark} and can't wait to try it. I'd say one coat lasts about 2 days before it chips, which to me is great because when I just need something quick.

Polishes -OPI - ChicaGo Get A Manicure
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 8/2/2009 6:53:00 PM

OBSESSED with this color. I guess my nail salon still has colors from fall 2008 because when I tried to find this color I found out that it was a seasonal (discontinued) item. It's a gorgeous berry fuscia plummy color. When I went to work my coworker immediately noticed it and loved it. No worries! An eBay seller has this color so I ordered 3 ChicaGo Get a Manicures and 2 After Dark in Lincoln Parks. I'm not one to obsess over nail polish. The only other time I fell in love with a nail color was OPI's Mississippi Mud and that was probably about 7 years ago. (and I still miss it!) This is definitely a color that a woman at any age can wear.

Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Wash Shadow in Stone
rated 3 of 5
Babyseita 3/28/2009 12:06:00 PM

Decided to purchase a couple shimmer wash eye shadows because they are an Allure "Best of Beauty" award winner. Stone is very pretty light brown taupe with shimmer. It goes on sheer and wear wells up until about 3 hours later (even with Urban Decay's Primer Potion). I noticed some creasing on the lids with this shadow which is totally unusual because I never have this problem when I use UD PP. Probably won't repurchase- going to stick with UD's shimmer shadows which are amazing and wear practically all day.

Pressed Powders -Chanel - Poudre Universelle Compacte
rated 4 of 5
Babyseita 3/22/2009 3:20:00 PM

Okay I took off 1 lippie because the price of this with tax comes out to about $50. And for package quality I gave this a 3 because for $50 the outside of this compact should be made of some sort of rubber/cushioning material in the event that if it falls to the ground $50 doesn't crumble into a million tiny pieces. Other than that, this is my HG for powder. I love this stuff. It doesn't make me break out (knocks on wood) and it sits on top of my skin (as opposed to absorbing into my skin and needing to reapply). As the name says, it's translucent to some degree. If you're looking for powder to cake on and make your skin look gross, this IS NOT your powder. This powder will even out your skin a bit and do a fabulous job in covering shine. It lasts a long time, as in hours, and the amount of product lasts a long time too (for me it last about 4-6 months). I made this my powder a few years ago and never turned back. When I do have to repurchase I *HATE* shelling out $50, but I know this product performs and is always good to me.

Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Mood
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 3/22/2009 2:55:00 PM

I love this lip gloss! It's a pretty sheer gold with gold shimmers. It's the perfect color to wear when I'm not trying to fuss with my lips. I like wearing this because it's really shimmery and adds a nice compliment to the natural color of my lips. Perfect when I'm wearing a lot of eye makeup and want subtle shimmery lips, or when I'm at the beach/pool and just want a little color. Beautiful! Hope it doesn't get discontinued.

Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Lip Color - Pink Ballet
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 3/22/2009 2:47:00 PM

Pink Ballet is a pinky pink (as a opposed to a peachy pink) semi-sheer creamy lipstick with a nice hint of shimmer. It looks almost like a gloss because of its semi-sheerness, shimmer, and shine, but wears like a creamy lipstick because if the wind blows, your hair doesn't stick to your lips. It's not tacky or sticky like a gloss either. I really like this product because I've been on a quest to find a lipstick that looks like a gloss, but wears like a lipstick, and I think I've found it with Bobbi Brown's Creamy Lipcolors. UPDATE: Still in love with this lipstick. It's become my HG !

Hair Styling Tools -Solano - Supersolano
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 9/26/2008 1:00:00 PM

This hair dryer is really superb. I recently used my mother's hair dryer and I was so annoyed because it didn't have anywhere near the power behind it that the Solano has. I've had my Solano for about 4 years and never had any problems with it. I wouldn't recommend using it anywhere but the US because the high wattage could destroy the motor if used in another outlet (from another country). I destroyed my $200 flat iron that way, even with the converter. With the Solano hair dryer, it takes me 5 minutes to dry my medium length hair. And when I'm drying my medium-length hair 5lb yorkie/maltese mix, it takes me about 15 minutes. The stream of heat with this hair dryer is more directed and makes drying hair in sections a breeze.

Shampoo -Redken - Body Full
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 6/2/2008 1:34:00 PM

I'm surprised at the reviews because I've used this product for years, and while I always try new ones, I keep coming back to this one. My hair isn't thick, nor baby-fine, but it's long, tendency to be oily at the roots and I have to wash it daily to keep it looking nice. I NEVER was the girl that goes days without washing her hair. I actually wash my hair twice in the shower; first with Tresemme clairifying shampoo, then this shampoo. I follow up with Redken Body Full Conditioner and my end result is soft & easily manageable hair... as long as the conditioner stays AWAY from my roots, my hair never falls flat.

Styling Products -Sexy Hair Concepts - Root Pump
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 4/19/2008 11:44:00 PM

This is my HG hair product. Unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with thick hair. I have long, brown, kinda oily (have to wash it daily), and kinda thin hair. With the right product though, my hair looks great. This product keeps my hair full all day AND my roots stay dry! Rather than spray it directly onto my roots, I spray the mousse into my hands. Then, I apply it to my roots and to a little less than half the top of my head (as per the instructions). I dry my hair upside down a little bit, and when I'm done,VOILA! It's amazing! From experience, I don't recommend using this mousse down to the ends of your hair. My hair became a dry knotty mess. This product is absolutely perfect for gals with great hair that needs a little umph! As far as price goes, Ulta had an great combo deal! I got the 10.6oz Big Sexy Hair Root Pump AND 10.6 Spray & Play for $21.95. Definitely worth it and affordable.

Styling Products -TRESemme - tres two extra hold hairspray
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 10/3/2007 10:39:00 PM

Hands down the best hairspray. This beats the pants off Sebastian's twenty-something-dollar-highway-robbery hairspray. My hair is of wavy, medium thick, tends to be oily at the roots, dry at the ends, semi-color treated. I wash my hair everyday because if I don't it goes flat to my head. This hairspray is great when I decide to wear my hair curly and scrunch it. I flip my head over, spray underneath the crown and voila! my hair looks more dense and it STAYS. This is a maximum hold hairspray, but it doesn't give you the shiny, sticky, helmet head like the old school Rave hairspray. I buy a lot of expensive products and I'm ALWAYS so proud of myself that I LOVE my $4 hairspray. I happily repurchase it, once a month probably. HG hairspray for me, no doubt about it.

Brows -Urban Decay - Brow Beater
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 6/6/2006 12:48:00 AM

Loved this. I was a faithful user of Chanel's brow pencil, but I wanted to try something else to see if I could save a few bucks. Chanel- $27, Urban Decay - $12.50. I am totally converting to Urban Decay's brown beater. I like it because it's hard to overdo it. The brow color itself was a bit waxy, so I didn't even use the wax end. The color matched well with my hair (I have medium brown hair). It probably wouldn't work with dark brunettes or black hair. I found Chanel's brow pencil was easy to overdo, so I was pleased when I didn't have to grab a Q-tip to lighten up my brows. I always had to touch-up my eyebrows with my Chanel pencil, whereas I did not have to do it at all with Urban Decay's. I think that is because Chanel's pencil is very soft, whereas UD's is not too soft. Will def. repurchase.

Blush -mark - Good Glowing Powder Blush -After Glow
rated 5 of 5
Babyseita 6/3/2006 9:23:00 AM

Aside from the packaging, it's a great blush. But, unless you want to deal with a plastic little palette of color with no lid, then you have to buy another blush by Marc or two eyeshadows, plus the case. Because I didn't want to deal with the chinsey little palette, I bought two shadows which I don't like or use. The face case (just the case to hold the blush) is $6.00, plus another blush (to hold it in place so it won't slide around) is $6.00. So now you're looking at $18.00 for two blushes and a case. Or if you choose 2 shadows, a blush, and a case you are looking at $20. Did I lose you yet? :P

Okay, stay with me. So either $18 or $20 and you're taking a gamble if you like the second blush or the other two shadows. I purchased this because I wanted a cheaper replacement for Orgasm ($25 at Sephora). It's not much more expensive when you look at it from that perspective. Yes, you can reuse the Mark case, but it all depends how much you really love Orgasm. I think Orgasm has a bit more golden shimmer, whereas Mark is slightly more matte. From the looking at the two blushes, it seems you get more Orgasm then you get After Glow. And from comparing the two, I seem to use less Orgasm than After Glow. I might need to replenish After Glow sooner.

What would alleviate this whole thing would be if Mark was better packaged. Because then, it would CLEARLY be the better deal.
